Our driver (Lamar) from Meka Tours to the event was awesome, he was very polite and patient, he was a delight to have in our company. The owner took us on our second excursion, she was also delightful, she told us stories that made us laughed til our ribs hurt. We will definitely use them on our next trip!

Wow! What an experience. From the very beginning, everyone was amazing. Omar picked my wife and I up right in front of our hotel, loaded and unloaded all of our equipment for us, and made sure we felt his Jamaican hospitality. He gave us lots of good advice, such as tips and tricks on what to do in Jamaica and where the locals go to eat some good food. When we arrived for our tour, Omar made sure we had his best tour guide for us. Shadow, our tour guide, was also wonderful. Made us feel right at home in Jamaica. We exchanged lots of fun stories about travel and life. Shadow went out of his way to ensure that my wife and I had an authentic/VIP raft adventure. Day 1 in Jamaica was a blast!!! It was truly one of the best experiences of my life! Jamaica is absolutely beautiful. 🇯🇲 The people are so friendly and welcoming, and the bamboo rafting and horseback riding were amazing. Everywhere we went felt safe, well organized, and enjoyable. Meka Tours did a fantastic job organizing everything and making the whole experience unforgettable. Everything was well planned, and most importantly, they were very punctual and professional.

We recently did the Horses/ATV/Raft trip while staying in Ocho Rios. Overall it was a good day. Our driver, Saint Patrick was amazing - on time, friendly, and made it an excellent trip throughout the day. We started at the horses, and that was probably our favorite stop. Unfortunately it rained a bit while we were on our ride, but no one can help the weather. The only negative I would note about the horses was that one of the guides was unnecessarily rough with the horse I was riding... It made me sad to see the horse yelled at and having his head yanked around for doing absolutely nothing wrong. That said, the ride was nice and we enjoyed the trip to the beach on the horses. Our second stop was rafting. The rafts were enjoyable, but it was a pretty short ride - we basically went upriver a few hundred yards, got off the rafts at a little stop on the beach where a few people were peddling their wares, then back to the starting point. It was a nice relaxing float, albeit a bit shorter than I expected. Our final stop was for ATVs. Our guide/host was very friendly and helped my two boys get comfortable driving the ATVs. It was very hot out and we rode on some pretty rough terrain (rocky, bumpy), so the kids ended up riding with myself and my husband. We had some fresh mango as a quick refreshment then headed out. Again, a bit shorter of a stop than I expected. On the way back to our hotel, Saint Patrick took us to a local spot for some fresh Jamaican food - it was delicious and we appreciated him showing us a local spot! Overall it was a good day.
Lamar was our driver and unofficial city guide. Great personality. From Ocho Rios all the activities were within 20-30 min away. Horseback riding was a blast. It helped that we've been on horses before. No helmet though. You won't be on the animal long enough to need long pants. Got wet so avoid cotton socks or bring dry ones. Riding through the waves was awesome. Too bad we couldn't spend an hour but it was good for a short "taste". Guides were on foot and with you at all times (i forgot names for all the guides- sorry. My bad). The ATV activity was equally fun and equally too short. An added bonus was coming across ripe mangos. Picked up a few, washed them and enjoyed fresh fruit right on the trail! The final activity was a calm bamboo river raft cruise. Midpoint was a commercial stop for vendors. A little out of place. Those river guides work hard! The day was a blast. Just too short
Omar was a great guide for us as we enjoyed the excursions. His friendliness and familiarity with the guides had us in good hands.

The actual activities are quick- driving takes the longest. Driver was pushy & encouraged us to tip & buy towels from specific store because if mess was made, expenses come out his pocket, not the company.

Meka tours is the bomb . I was here in July in Montego Bay and booked with Meka and she was my driver and said anytime i come to Jamaica i was booking with her company . This time i came to ocho Rios and her driver Omar was so cool . He took great care of us ladies . We were with him for 3-4 days . Taking us to good restaurants , clubs and offering protection . I would book with Meka tours everytime . When you come ask for Omar to be your driver . He is a good time ! Can’t wait to come back !

Great experience! I had my own personal tour guide to shiw me around beautiful Jamiaca. The atv riding was my favorite part, the horseback riding was right behind it. The bamboo rafting was fun but to my fellow ladies there is a massage included. I did have a guide on the raft tour that was on the unprofessional side of things but I did let my guide know that I was uncomfortable at certain points and he addressed it to the raft place and assured me that that wouldn't happen again. I had an amazing time!
Deception… i expected to get to discover Jamaica’s nature and landscapes through 3 different means. But each only limit to a very short circuit. The ATV is more for the sport than nature. The horse riding was a disaster. Not forest hike as advertised and a tiny loop in an ordinary beach only. The bamboo rafting was better. Nice atmosphere and nice captain to discuss with. But still a relatively short ride. In sum, we haven’t really see anything of Jamaica, despite going in 3 different places with 3 different means of transportation. As we were here only for a day, you can understand the frustration. On the positive side, our driver was great, and shared a lot of his knowledge and personal history in Jamaica, and tried to make the experience as nice as possible.
This is basically a track that you go around on an ATV. You do not go for a tour around the island like they try to make you believe in the description. Staff was good and courteous and had a positive attitude. Disappointing experience and waste of time and money.
More than what I expected. The ATVs were great because we did not have to go in a straight line like most ATV tours. They let us go off on our own the first part and then guided us through the mountain. The horseback riding was a little bit short. They said it would be 45 minutes to an hour and it was a half hour at best. My kids really enjoyed taking the horses into the beach and the tour guides that with us were absolutely phenomenal about taking our picture and making us comfortable. The rafting portion was so calm. It was just an opportunity to lay back and enjoy the scenery. The wrath operators were exceptional. For my girls, they played disco music and the girls danced as they went down the river. For my husband and I they played some Bob Marley and sung along with us. For reference. We are a family of five. The kids are 19, 17 and 15 years old.
Lamar was an amazing driver! Very cool and knowledgeable took us to places outside of excursion that we wanted to go to along the way! Definitely 10/10

Had a great time horses were beautiful and gentle.. my guide's name was Jay and my horse Playboy.( because he had sored so many) lol Jay told me. Jay was a great guide easy going , took his time and very friendly. I loved this excursion.
If you are looking for a more immersive and personalized experience then you definitely need to book with Meka Tours. Meka communicated with me the entire time and answered all of my questions. I had concerns at first because I was independently booking outside of what Carnival was offering for excursions. Plus, I didn't purchase the travel insurance. Don't judge me. LOL! And... if you don't have travel insurance you could risk being left if you don't get back to the boat on time. She assured me that we would be on time and I put my trust in her. Prior to arriving in Jamaica I had no doubts or reservations. I knew I was in good hands. With help from the kind people at the port we were able to locate Meka and she introduced us to our host, Michael but he prefers to be called Joker. Man he was so cool and he made us feel right at home. He had 2 rules.... 1. Don't ask no questions and he'll tell you no lies 2. You can do what you want in his ride, just don't break anything. LOL! After those rules were established as the people say... No Problem! We got to all of our excursions on time and back to the boat without a hitch. Joker did his big one and we greatly appreciate him and Meka Tours as a whole for showing us such an amazing time. Boy we had a ball!
Meka was professional and kept in constant contact which made everything easy. Our driver Michael who stayed with us throughout the whole day was laid back and got us where we needed to be on time. Def getting the realest experience of Jamaica booking this. Everyone at each stop was respectful. If I ever come back I will book with Meka again 100%
10/10 there was constant communication before the excursion which made me more confident things would go well. Our driver Michael was great, the staff at horseback riding made me feel safe and tended to. I chose to book outside of the Cruise line because according to them i was over there weight limit. River ride was relaxing and beutiful staff was great. I enjoyed taking the drive through the city to get to the excursions. I can definitely say I would do this again 10/10 recommend!!
The driver Chevar williams was an added blessing to the excursions very down to earth made the birthday experience fun overall 10 out of 10 my favorite was definitely the horseback riding get MJ as your wrangler best experience in my life. The ATV was a bit not for me because it was on dirt road and it was very hot. The hills are extremely steep. Some of my friends decided not to ride alone because of the steep hills being so scary on the ATV. but it was still fun. The scenery for the drive up to ATV was amazing and bamboo rafting is gonna be my second favorite. The stone massage is not included. Didn't find out till I got there but daddy one was a great host and made the experience amazing. Definitely worth it even though it is extremely expensive

My husband and I did the ATV and Horseback ride package. Our driver, Michael, was great, accommodating, and engaged us in good conversation the whole time. The ATV ride was fun and we were taken to a beautiful area that overlooked the city and the water. We took a couple pictures and then rode around a bit more. I do wish the trip was longer and that the route was more scenic, however I know they are working with what they have. Overall, it was a decent ATV ride. The horseback ride was great and actually my first time ever riding a horse in water! Molly, the horse I rode, was beautiful and well-groomed. The gentleman assisting us throughout the ride took many beautiful pictures with my phone and conversed with us the whole way as well. The staff and locals were friendly. Overall, the trip was nice.
Don Simmons was our driver to the event and he was very efficient and nice as well. We asked to stop at a gift shop and he was more than willing to stop with no complaints. Definitely would recommend.
Meka picked us up early on Saturday and took us for the excursions and was a great host in Jamaica . We enjoyed her so much that we rebooked her for the bob Marley tour on Sunday the next day and she took us to a weed farm as well . She even let us stop and get some authentic jerk chicken . She is the best . Her company is great . I can’t wait to come back to Jamaica to book with her .

Because of all the good reviews I drove from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios which was 1hr and 27min drive. I asked all three guards that were at the gate numerous times they reassured me that no one came to the gate to pickup JuJu, so after waiting 1hr and 30min I left.
A full day of activities that are well organized and supportive local businesses. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Meka's tour which included the horseback riding, bamboo ragting, and ATV ride. She even provided us with great ideas on where we could eat locally if we wanted to explore outside the resort. Great tour, great company, and would highly recommend.

Tour was amazing. First time on horses, guides were professional and very familiar with the horses. I don't think Michele liked my handling very much lol but her guide was there to keep her calm and well behaved. The bamboo raft guide....THE BEST! We enjoyed his shenanigans too much and the music was vibing. Meka and her team were all great. It was a relaxing day well spent. Thank you all so much, see you when we return.
