I highly recommend Mary! She was so easy to communicate with, and setting up details ahead of time went very smoothly. She is very flexible and accomodating to meet our individual schedule, agreeing to work an afternoon rather than a morning. We joined Mary at the Gap of Dunloe and she took us to Dingle/Slea Head Loop. She had amazing driving skills, including navigating the narrow/switchback roads and avoiding hitting a rabbit, which I very much appreciated because it would have broken my heart! She was soo incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She was easy to talk to, had a great sense of humor, and was very clearly passionate about her home country. She speaks several languages and has spent time traveling the world. We would definitely recommend Mary and if we ever go back to the area, we will be reacing out again to her!

I had the most wonderful day on my private tour of the dingle peninsula. I got to hold a lamb. I saw the most beautiful beaches in my life. Really nice cliffs as well and a nice Lunch in dingle town. Mary is an incredible guide very knowledgeable and friendly and can answer any question about the area. You can also go on roads the busses cannot go. Our day with Mary was one of the best days we spent in Ireland. She is knowledgable, very experienced and so friendly. One of the things I really appreciated was that with Mary we got to see places we would have missed in a bigger tour or driving ourselves. For instance she bypassed a very crowded beach with numerous tour buses and took us a bit further down the road to a lovely beach where we were there was nobody else in sight. She also took us to lovely old church that I hadn't seen on any other itineraries. Even though she took us to less crowded places doesn't mean that we missed out on anything we wanted to see. She asked about our interests right away and made sure that we got a tour that was tailored to us, but she made sure we got to see the tourist spots too. Some of the best pictures we took on the trip were based on her suggestions. She also took pictures of my husband and I together. Mary was an exceptional driver and her car was in excellent condition. I felt perfectly secure with her at the wheel. She arrived at the hotel on time and got us back on time too. It's not an inexpensive day, but absolutely worth it. The roads twist and turn, they are narrow, steep, and often wet. In places it is one way only and cars need to back quite a distance to let others pass. With Mary you can sit back, relax and enjoy the absolutely stunning scenery..

Mary was most knowledgeable and engaging. She provided an excellent way to experience the Dingle peninsula. It was so much more enjoyable not having to drive the route, but to have Mary narrate while we enjoy the spectacular scenery. Note that Mary clearly displays on her photo tile that she utilizes a 4 door Mercedes sedan, so it could be a tight fit depending.

Mary was awesome. We laughed and talked all day. She quickly surmised what we'd be interested in and planned accordingly. There were plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks or to pick up a beverage or snack. If you're prone to motion sickness you might want to take precautions because the roads are curvy on steroids. We saw so much of the Dingle Peninsula: Inch Beach, the coastline, the Skellig Islands (Star Wars tie-in), Sleeping Man Island, Blasket Island, Slea Head Drive (which is not for the faint of heart), many beehive dwellings, ring dwellings, churches, Observatory, more cliffs, more beaches, a golf course, Dingle town for lunch (Fish Box has the most amazing seafood chowder), Connor's Pass and then some teeny tiny road that only farmers and sheep go on apparently (wind whistling through the Irish heather and grass is magical). She never rushed us and moved on if we were only mildly interested in something. Mary managed to arrange a rainbow, a sheep crossing and thrilling narrow driving conundrums to make it extra special. It's a lot more than a bus tour, but was worth it because she personalized it just for us...one of those once-in-a-lifetime days.

We spent two full days with Mary on private tours of Dingle and the Ring of Kerry. Mary made the days interesting with her wide knowledge, personal insight and humour. We enjoyed seeing the island through her eyes. Each full day was comprehensive covering all the major sites and smaller ones that the coaches cannot access. This made for two wonderful days. We had a great trip to Dingle from Killarney! Mary was an excellent Guide who picked us up at our hotel straight away! Great way to start the trip. Mary was knowledgeable about sites along the way to Dingle. She stopped along the way allowing us to take pictures with magnificent backdrops. Mary provided a great tour of the Dingle peninsula! It was nice to have a private guide who really knows her way around - no driving for me! She knew the history and went at our pace. We had the opportunity to stay longer and some places and to exclude others. Mary can do yours of other parts of Ireland, too. She is very personable.
