Full-day Ring Of Kerry Tour From Killarney

Had an amazing day touring the Ring of Kerry. The tour was very well thought out with sightseeing stops and a lunch break. Stunning scenery. It was definitely the best way to see everything. The sheep dog demonstration was so much fun. The weather wasn’t on our side but we still had a great day anyway. Would definitely recommend.

This is the best way to see the Irish countryside. Our bus driver Connor was excellent. Knowledgeable about the area and was always able to answer any questions we may have had. This is one of the many highlights of our visit to Killarney

Many beautiful views along the winding roads of this journey. Also enjoyed the sheep-herding dog demonstration.

Our guide, Johnny Quinlan, was knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us enough information without being too talkative or overwhelming. He also navigated the roads well! The weather was beautiful as was the scenic countryside of Kerry.

This was so amazing! Our tour guide, John, was fantastic! It was a great tour and we were able to see so much! The admission price was great and the trip was well worth it. Would definitely go again! Thank you!

John, our guide, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable of the area that he took us. very entertaining and an expert driver on some very tight tricky roads. The cost of the tour was well worth the money. The scenery was amazing and he knew all the good photo op places. The sheep dog experience was a highlight of the tour. There was ample time at the stops for photos, lunch, restroom breaks. All in all, we had a very enjoyable time on the Ring of Kerry Tour with Wild Kerry Day Tours.

Was a great experience. To go and have an Irish coffee and go to the farm. Lots of stops and places to get something to eat or drink and stretch your legs out. But most of all gorgeous scenery !

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Ring of Kerry Tour – A Must-Do in Ireland! We had a fantastic experience on the Ring of Kerry Tour from Killarney on Thursday, October 15th, booked through Viator! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning coastal views, beautiful mountains, charming villages, and picturesque countryside around every turn. The tour was a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of Ireland without having to worry about driving or navigating the winding roads. We loved seeing so many incredible sights in one day, and the stops along the way provided great opportunities to take photos and enjoy the surroundings. The entire experience was well worth it and was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Ireland. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Killarney. A memorable day filled with spectacular scenery and unforgettable views!

The tour itself was great. It was a nice break from doing the driving ourselves. Driving the full Ring of Kerry was a wonderful way to spend the day. There are plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures from beautiful vistas. Our guide, John, was friendly enough as the guide while driving the bus but not especially so beyond that, unfortunately. The stop at the Bog Village wasn't, in my opinion, worth the entrance fee - which was additional to the tour fee. Irish coffee was available for an additional fee as well. The stop at the sheep herding exhibit was also an additional fee but that was interesting and worth it. Where we stopped for lunch was ok. Food is served cafeteria style. Not awful but nothing exceptional either.

Our guide was Johnny Q and we had such a great time. Our guide Johnny educated us more info than I ever thought I’d get on this tour. He was a great guide, and this is definitely a must do if you’re in Killarney.

Johnny did an excellent job of driving us around Ring of Kerry. He’s from the area so I couldn’t think of anyone else better to show us the best sites. I recommend it 100%

We really enjoyed our tour our Guide Johnny was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The tour felt like it had plenty of time at each of the stops. Nothing felt overly rushed and he was very clear about what is coming up what’s included how long we’re gonna be able to stop there was no guessing so that was great. And for the optional stops, he made sure to let people know. You don’t have to pay the seven or eight dollars if you don’t want to experience the little town or the sheep dog

The driver/guide Johnny Quinlan was excellent. His commentary gave us a good feel for the area and he was very engaging.

Absolutely wonderful educational humorous best tour ever I make it number one priority if you’re visiting this part of Ireland

The bus tour was awesome - the Ring of Kerry is beautiful and there is an opportunity to watch a really great sheepdog demonstration. The best part, though, was when David sang “Grace” to us as we were coming back to Killarney. I don’t think there was a dry eye on the bus! Wonderful experience!

I travelled to Ireland as part of a tour group from Ontario, Canada recently. We had the privilege of having Mike Enright as our tour guide. He did an exceptional job. He always went above and far beyond the call of duty to make sure we were all having a great time. We all did have a fabulous time, thanks to his care!! His daily talks were not only very educational but sprinkled with humour too. He made every day fun and enjoyable and we learned a lot every day from his informative talks. He was always ready well ahead of schedule and was very well organized. He explained what the plans were for the next day, he was very considerate of stops for facilities and a coffee. He also recommended places to try for dinner as well, giving directions and advice. We simply could not have asked for anything better!! I can’t say enough good about his professional manner, considerate nature and his tour leadership skills. I would highly recommend him!

It was a wonderful experience and the day passed quickly. Dave, our guide, was knowledgable, friendly and a skilled driver. We enjoyed the many stops along the way and the scenic views.

My son and I were on vacation from the US. We sat in the front of the coach which in itself was amazing. Our driver Johnny was so calm and cool during one of the craziest traffic jams I've ever been in. Our coach vs cars on the skinny diversion road. There had been a crazy wreck on the main road. His calm demeanor helped keep things calm in the coach as the traffic was piling up on the road. There were parts of the usual tour that we were not able to go on due to the road closure but Johnny more than made up for it. He was a great driver/ tour guide!

The tour exceeded my expectations. Johhny was delightful and full of interesting information. We knew when and where we would stop throughout the tour. It was perfectly planned and accommodated everyone's needs. Definitely the highlight of the trip to Ireland. Very happy it was included in our itinerary. Comfortable ride and not to be missed if you have the time to explore the region. Thank you, Johnny!!

A very informative scenic drive on the Ring of Kerry with a driver with a sense of history and humour. I also did the Gap of Dunloe walk and boat trip. Barry and staff went out of their way to ensure I was able to get to the walking on Gap of Dunloe, to collect me at the end at Ross Castle. A very caring attitude to a single old person

Johnny Quinlan was a wonderful driver & tour guide (with Wild Kerry Day Tours). Very knowledgeable, humorous, great story teller & driver! He also paced the trip out very well with sufficient breaks for us to get off the bus & move around. I would highly recommend him!

Johnny was our tour guide and he was fantastic. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about The Ring of Kerry and really just made it the best day we have had in Ireland so far. He allowed us to stop and get breathtaking photos and our lunch stop couldn't have been any better!!! We learned so much about the history and you could tell Johnny was very proud to be from Killarney. I highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Killarney and make sure that you get Johnny as your tour guide!!!

This was a very good trip and we were blessed with the weather. Our driver and guide was Johnny who was excellent. He was so knowledgeable and answered any questions. His jokes kept us entertained. We elected to do the 2 optionals to the old village and the excellent sheep gathering demonstration. It was well worth doing these particularly the sheep one. Thoroughly recommend

Despite it being a dull, misty day, this was an amazing trip. Perhaps we’ll never know what we missed but the scenery was atmospheric, the guide, John, was brilliant, & all the stops / visits were very interesting. The highlight was seeing the sheepdog demonstration.

Beautiful landscape!! Our driver David was an expert on the roads with the down pour of rain we had. Nice guy, sings great, very friendly!! Offered photo stops often, even in the rain it was worth it!! Clean and comfortable bus. I’m driving in Ireland (from US) but didn’t want to drive this, the tour was absolutely everything that I wanted and needed (minus the hard rain)!!! Sit back and enjoy the sites! Highly recommend!!

John was amazing and so nice! He took the time to talk to you and gives you a lot of history tips and stops along the way for the most beautiful pictures.

Positives: beautiful scenery and well curated stops. Great sheepdog show. Negatives: Lunch stop was a scam. Overpriced (by a LOT) and terrible food and service. The driver was probably funny and had some good information but we wouldn’t know because we couldn’t hear anything in the back. No one’s fault: If you get carsick easily maybe skip because it’s a rough swervy ride.

John was a great guide and made us feel welcome! Highly recommend this tour!!!

Excellent day, very interesting history and beautiful sights. Plenty of stops to stretch and take pictures.

Unfortunately, we couldn't understand the driver/tour guide. He spoke too fast. We are American and, of course, in Ireland, there are accents. But on a tour, one should speak slowly and clearly so all can understand. Our tour guide was rude to me! As I exited the bus at a stop, I asked him the name of it. He told me, then muttered, "for the millionth time"! Even the lady behind me heard him and said how rude he was! Some of the stops required additional payment if we wanted to participate. It was a dog show we weren't interested in. So we just had to wait 25 minutes until the show was over!

We were late to tour due to our time misunderstanding, and they were amazing and had a driver take us to the first stop, amazing! The ride was very comfortable and stops were well timed and really fun. Dave was kind ans helpful. Would highly recommend!

Excellent guide and beautiful views

What an amazing day we spent with Dave. Great personality: warm, friendly & knowledgeable. Overall, a wonderful experience.

While scenic, the itinerary was lacking some important information. There were two stops: one at a historic village that had an admission fee. That wasn’t on the itinerary. There was another stop to see a border collie demonstration (which was VERY impressive) that also had an undisclosed admission fee and wasn’t on the itinerary. We liked our driver, however he would mention sites as we were passing them instead of letting us get ready to see them, so I missed a lot of them (and I was second row in). The sights we did see were spectacular. I got quite a bit of photos for the day. Side note: the PA system picks up the noise of the buses transmission so while it’s on, there’s a high pitched squeal until he turned it off.

My mom and I had such a great time on the tour! Dave, our tour guide was had extensive knowledge of all the little details and was very entertaining. The price was well worth the money, and the length of the trip was perfect. There were tours that were longer but we thought this was exactly the right amount of time. One of the reasons we took the tour was because we didnt want to have someone drive the ring and miss out. This really let us both enjoy the sights. The sheep dog experience was my favorite part and my mom's was lunch with an incredible view! We highly recommend this tour, it wasnt over crowded and you still had an opportunity to meet and mingle with other interesting people. If you're on the fence, BOOK IT!

Very enjoyable coach tour with a charming and experienced driver.

It was an informative trip around the Ring of Kerry. David was kind and he was knowledgeable and he drove the bus safely. The stop to Scarrif Inn should be discontinued if you want everyone to enjoy themselves. The service and food literally left a bad taste in our mouths.
