Kris was absolutely wonderful. He was at the pick up spot early and asked us what we wanted to do. We gave him a list of things. he recommended some updates to avoid rain in certain locations. Best lunch spot came from him!! Great driving skills. The history he shared was priceless. He stopped wherever we wanted and waited for us to have a pint here and there. This was a private tour we booked and we were very happy with his tour and time , bathroom breaks and great stops. Highly recommend him.

he Valentia Island telegraph was a historic achievement that connected Europe and North America by a submarine electric cable in 1866. It was the first permanent trans-oceanic communication link that allowed messages to be sent instantly and accurately across the Atlantic. The project was initiated by Cyrus West Field, an American businessman who wanted to improve global communication and trade. He formed the Atlantic Telegraph Company and hired engineers and ships to lay the cable under the ocean. The first attempt in 1858 was successful, but the cable broke after a few weeks. Several more attempts failed until 1866, when the SS Great Eastern, the largest ship at the time, managed to lay a durable cable from Valentia Island in Ireland to Heart's Content in Newfoundland, Canada. Sneem is a small and picturesque village in County Kerry, Ireland. It is located on the Iveragh Peninsula, which is part of the Ring of Kerry, a scenic coastal route. Sneem lies on the estuary of the River Sneem, which flows into Kenmare Bay. The name Sneem comes from the Irish word An tSnaidhm, which means "the knot". There are different explanations for this name, but one of them is that the village consists of two squares, North and South, that are connected by a bridge over the river, forming a knot-like shape. Sneem has a rich history and culture, and it has attracted many visitors over the years. One of them was the former French president Charles de Gaulle, who visited Sneem in 1969 and has a monument dedicated to him in the North Square. Torc Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction in County Kerry, Ireland. It is located in the Killarney National Park, at the base of Torc Mountain. The waterfall is formed by the Owengarriff River, which flows from the Devil's Punchbowl, a lake on the top of the mountain. The waterfall is 20 metres (66 feet) high and 110 metres (360 feet) long, and it cascades over the rocks with a roaring sound. The name Torc comes from the Irish word for a wild boar, and the area is linked to some legends involving these animals. One legend says that a man who was cursed by the Devil to turn into a boar every night lived in a cave under the waterfall. Another legend says that the hero Fionn MacCumhaill killed a magical boar on Torc Mountain with his golden spear. You can visit Torc Waterfall by car, bike, or foot.

I couldn’t be more happy with our day. Kris was a superior guide and friendly and engaging all day long. He took us everywhere we wanted to see and even some places we didn’t know we wanted to see but were overjoyed that we did. It’s a great value and peace of mind to travel with an experienced guide like Kris.
Wonderful experience and the private tour is the way to go! We had flexibility on timing and where to stop. Great information along the way! Kris was wonderful and the whole experience from booking throughout the day was wonderful. I highly recommend Kris! I also love to keep the business local which the community appreciated.
We had an absolutely fantastic day out with Kris touring the Ring of Kerry and the Kerry Cliffs. Kris has so much knowledge of the area and shared loads of facts and history from all the places along the route. Loads to see from the Old Bog Village and the sheep dog trials to the stunning views of Skellig Michael and the amazing Kerry Cliffs..Lovely relaxed trip with loads of time to enjoy all the sights.. Would highly recommend! Thank you Kris...
Kris did a great job. He paced our tour and provided great information. He gave us suggestions for our next day and really made us feel comfortable.
I can’t say enough good things about how much we enjoyed our day with Kris. He took excellent care of my Family and I, and truly enhanced our Ireland experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, and took us to all the beautiful spots the Ring has to offer. He drove us around some difficult areas that we would not have been comfortable doing on our own. He has great relationships with people along the way which also enhanced the experience. Don’t hesitate, the private tour with Kris is the way to go, I will be recommending him to all my family and friends!
Amazing day. Kris was extremely flexible and repeatedly encouraged us to do the tour “our way”. Five of us were on the trip. We asked Kris about stopping at an old general store to meet the locals that were our distant relatives. Kris not only stopped at the store but took us wandering down a country trail (literally) to find the old farmhouse where my grandfather was born. Despite this hour long side trip, Kris still got in a full day with sheep dogs, a big village, cliffs, lunch and a waterfall. Such an amazing experience for our family. Thank you
Kris was absolutely incredible!!! He took us to so many amazing and beautiful locations like Bog Town, a sheepdog show, Cliffs of Kerry, Killarney national park, and many more. The sights were breathtaking and Kris went above and beyond to enhanced our experience. Would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Killarney, and would make the trip back to Ireland just to do this tour again. Thank you Kris!
We had a great time on this tour, which was made better by our driver, Kris. He was so warm and friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured our expectations were met. Book the tour and cross your fingers that Kris is your driver.
Excellent tour and driver/guide, each stop was timed well and we got lucky with the weather. Good for small groups.
From start to finish, this private tour exceeded every expectation we had, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Kris was an exceptional tour guide – incredibly knowledgeable, full of fascinating historical facts, local stories and insights you won’t find in any guidebook, and thoroughly conscientious at every step. What made the day truly special was how he went above and beyond to tailor the entire experience to us. We had a member of our party with mobility issues, and Kris was endlessly patient, thoughtful and attentive: he planned stops with easy access, took extra time getting everyone settled, and checked in regularly to make sure we were all comfortable and enjoying the day. It made such a huge difference to be able to relax and take in the sights without worry. The luxury transport was spotless, spacious and very comfortable – the perfect way to take in the stunning scenery of the Ring of Kerry, from sweeping coastal views to lush valleys and charming villages. The Kerry Cliffs in particular were breathtaking, and Kris knew exactly the best vantage points to visit. This was a truly great tour, led by a wonderful host who cares deeply about giving his guests the very best day possible. If you’re planning a trip to Kerry, book this experience – you won’t regret it!
It was a full and wonderful day with Kris. Everything was clear, comfortable, and flexible to our interests. A great way to see the Ring of Kerry for us non-drivers!
Kris was a wonderful guide. He asked us what we liked and tailored our trip based on that. He is a fun guy and had a lot of great information on the history and lore of the area we visited. He was easy to communicate with and we would gladly book another tour with him next time we return to Ireland. I highly recommend taking a tour, it is much better than trying to drive yourself. He knows the places to go and when to go there.
Booking with Kris takes the stress out of driving unfamiliar roads that are quite tricky, and in my opinion, a much better experience than a coach bus which will give you no flexibility with your trip. We booked two separate tours with Kris (Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry) both of which were fantastic. Kris picked us up and dropped us off directly at our hotels and we got to see a few places off the beaten track and learn a lot about the history of the area. Will definitely book with Kris next time we are here.
Our trip around the Ring of Kerry and the Skellig Ring was absolutely unforgettable. The breathtaking scenery — from rolling mountains and golden beaches to dramatic cliffs and charming villages — was even more enjoyable thanks to our professional and friendly driver Kris. Traveling in a comfortable, luxurious car made the journey relaxing, and we could simply sit back and take in the views. The driver shared many fascinating stories and facts about the history, culture, and hidden gems of the area, which made the experience even richer. A perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and local insight.
We had the absolute pleasure of spending a day touring with an exceptionally friendly and professional driver Kris. From the very first moment, it was clear that he knew the area like the back of his hand – sharing fascinating stories and interesting facts about the local culture, nature, and history in a warm and engaging way. The journey was incredibly comfortable – we traveled in a spacious vehicle with large, airline-style seats, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Kris paid attention to every detail of the route, stopping at perfect spots for photos and always happy to answer our questions.
What a wonderful experience! He was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we didn't miss anything! Definitely a highlight of our whole trip!
Kris is so knowledgeable. It’s so hard to appreciate everything you see without knowing the extensive history behind it. His vehicle was able to take us places tour buses cannot, and it was a full day of some of the most amazing views by views in the entire world. I wouldn’t do it any other way.
We had a fabulous day with Kris and we highly recommend any tour led by him! He was informative, helpful, funny and had all sorts of extra insights on Ireland. We had a fantastic lunch at this great Seafood restaurant also that he recommended on the tour. We couldn’t have planned a better day. Thanks Kris! Hope to see you next time for another tour!
The places and views were amazing and we could take time to enjoy those we liked the most. Kris is a very knowledgeable guide.
Kris was great! Really enjoyed the tour. The sheepdog demonstration was great. Views from the cliffs were amazing! Highly recommend this tour
Kris is a wonderful tour guide. He will conduct you with an emphasis on safety and a true depth of knowledge through the incredible natural beauty and history of Co. Kerry. Kris has many personal contacts throughout Kerry that make his services a notch above, i.e., access to an Iron Age ring fort on private land, knowledge of pubs and eateries along the way, and even close up encounters with newborn lambs (shout out to Jack)! Kris is punctual, knowledgeable, professional and will make sure you have a personalized trip through Kerry you will not soon forget (not to mention he is funny and a great conversationalist!) As you cannot see all of the Ring of Kerry in one day, Kris will take you around to as many sites as he possibly can that will blow your socks off, like the Cliffs of Kerry (and Skellig Chain), Ladies’ View and Torc Waterfall. Kris stayed with us two hours after he was contracted to and only ended the tour due to it being too dark to go on. He also provides excellently-produced informational videos between stops. Unlike a bus tour that must stick to a particular itinerary and must accommodate the needs of 30 guests, Kris can tailor your Kerry experience to you. My father is elderly and has mobility issues, and this made a huge difference. I cannot recommend Kris’ tour services more highly.
Kris was very accommodating to the kids (6 & 9). We had a lovely time seeing the Ring of Kerry . We learned so much from Kris about Killarney National Park, Waterville and the small towns we stopped at. Our lunch at the Pub was the best food yet.
Our tour guide was Kristoffer Muciek. He was awesome. We stopped at many interesting sites, great conversation along the way, never felt rushed. No regrets or criticisms. Would highly recommend having Kristoffer as a guide
Views were amazing! Kris is very accommodating and knowledgeable. He was able to get us to all the sites while we had good weather.
Chris ran an excellent tour to see the Blarney castle, ring of Kerry and cliffs and the national park and more. He did this with great humor and enthusiasm telling part of the history of his adopted country . He was a safety first driver and made us comfortable the entire day. so glad my friend Michelle recommended him!
Kris provided a once in a lifetime experience, showing us the spectacular beauty of the countryside in a very personal way!
Kris was an excellent tour guide and went above and beyond to make sure we saw all of our top sites. He gave interesting commentary along the way and made sure to let us know about the best spots for photos and views. He kept our schedule on track and let us customize the tour to our preferences. He was very friendly and made our last day in Ireland a memorable one. I highly recommend booking a private tour with him. We were able to see the sites we wanted to see and weren’t stuck with an itinerary like the major bus tours provide. Well worth the price to see amazing views and sites on our own schedule. Thank you for a great day, Kris!
Thank you Kris for a wonderful trip today. While the weather didn’t cooperate Kris took us to amazing locations on the Ring of Skellig and Kerry. Highly recommend this tour.
