Food today at Kenmare Rooms was distinctly average. Beetroot burger was tasteless and undercooked (I recommend swapping this for a higher quality patty). All chip portions were pure grease, just cheapest food services chips. Ketchup was nasty (again low quality). Chicken was dry / tough. Coleslaw was fragrant and sweet… god knows why. Turkey/ham dish was underwhelming. Overall a 5/10.

Glorious hotel in the heart of Killarney. Early on in my booking there were issues with my card and it needed a bit of work to solve the issue. The receptionist was a calm and friendly person and we solved the issue quickly and with positivity. During my stay all the personnel were friendly despite me having more trouble and pretty often just going inside and outside (for an event). The room was perfect for my needs and then some. If (or when) I return to Killarney this will be my place to go to again.
Elegant hotel. Fancy. Best customer service thus far in Ireland! (Front desk and breakfast staff excellent!) Tons of shops, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. Killarney is a very cute city. It has an "energy" vibe to it. Minus 1 star for lack of available USB ports. In addition, the shower had poor temperature control. No cold water, believe it or not. The bath had cold water, yet when you switched the control to the shower mode, only three temperatures available: hot, hotter, and scolding, no matter how you adjusted the knob(s). {Only in room 119?...} Also, no hooks or towel bar to hang towels, etc. in the bathroom. The WiFi was ok to stream, however, trying to send an image via text failed time and again. Besides that, I highly recommend this hotel. A Celtic and Riverdance show most nights at 8:30 pm on the ground level. $37€ ? Free parking under the hotel, however, very limited spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. P.S. My opinion only: The Ring of Kerry was underwhelming. I guess I'm spoiled living in California with the coastal highway, the Sierra Nevada mountains, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park. However, since you're here, you might as well drive it. Still lovely. I suggest driving it Clockwise. The tour busses drive Counterclockwise, and you do not want to follow them and all their customers at every viewpoint. For every one car traveling clockwise, there were 30 to 40 cars traveling counterclockwise. Now you know!
A beautiful hotel with exceptional service! Delicious breakfast, too! Yvonne welcomed us and took excellent care of us. Staff were so friendly. Clean room with historical charm. A great location to food and entertainment. Would return without hesitate!
Elena at the front reception was amazing. She was so gracious when we first entered the hotel and made us feel right at home. During our visit, she offered suggestions, helpful assistance, and acted as our concierge. She is an asset to the hotel! Our room was lovely with a view of the city, a wonderful comfortable bed ,very good linens and any amenity that you would need . There was beautiful shower that also had a Jacuzzi bath bathtub. The room was well lit and had a window that would open somewhat for fresh air. They offered free parking.. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit .
