Excellent way to see the city - loved it! Kigali is quite hilly, so was glad for the e-bike. Tour guide Jean-Claude was terrific.

Great 22 km e-bike experience around Kigali. Local guide Jean Claude was awesome, led the way into a very civilized city traffic, where drivers, cars and motorcycles, are very respectful. We had a stop over at the Nyamirambo district, to refresh and to try the delicious “Rolex”, an Ugandan specialty, which is a mix of pancake and omelet, simply delicious! The sightseeing stops for pictures were nice and I really had a good grasp of the city in only three hours. I definitely recommend it. Thank you Jean Claude, you were great!
This is something I wouldn't do on a normal day, my bike riding skill is very rusty yet I enjoyed everything bit of the adventure. Jane was very patient with me, we took couple of breaks so I can catch my breath a little. We also rode through the flat roads mostly because I was struggling with the hills. Breakfast was good, I had Rolex and fanta . Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend
Excellent voews, friendly & considerate guide
Jean Claude was my guide and he did a tremendous job. It's an exhilarating route, enjoyable. I did it solo so for solo women travellers this is a great activity, safe too.
Incredible experience, would absolutely recommend for any tourist or local! Our tour guide, Jean Claude, was amazing and we had a wonderful time touring half of the city and visiting a coffee shop.
Fabulous e-bike tour of hilly Kigali by Jean Claude who gave us a safety briefing in f our new e-bikes before taking us throughout the city, stoping at sights such the Convention Center, Hotel Rwanda, fancy and less fortunate neighborhoods, and Kigali Camp memorial, providing explanations of the culture and history. Great way to familiarize yourself either the city and country!
Our guide Jean-Claude did a very good job and made us feel save on the E-Bikes. The Bikes are like new and worked perfectly. Best tour to see a big part of the city:)
If you’re looking for a great way to explore Kigali while combining sport and culture, this tour is definitely worth booking. It’s a fun way to spend the morning and see the city from a different perspective. John was an excellent guide - very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the country, which made the experience even more interesting. The e-bikes were in great condition and very easy to ride, which made the tour even more enjoyable and accessible for all fitness levels. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kigali. It’s great for couples, friends, and also for solo travelers who want to explore the city in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
We had a fabulous e bike Kigali tour with John on March 3rd. Super fun to cycle around the thousand hills (thx e bike power!). Best way to see the different neighborhoods and learn a lot from John about the genocide history whilst enjoying a Rolex. We did another tour with different provider and Nuttin to do was miles better on all parts! Keep doing what you do! Super cool!
Very fun. Would recommend. John was good.
this was 100%, lovely quit Sunday ride. great guide and explanation on Rwanda history. with a Belgian accent as we're from there. THANKS
This tour was great! The perfect mix of fun and seeing some of Kigali’s sights. Breakfast on Food Street was a bonus! Thankyou!
Absolutely loved it and it should be the first thing to do when staying in Kigali. It gives you a great overview of the city and its history. John (or Jean) is a great guide who will explain a lot of the city, it's buildings and its history in an enthusiastic way. Very much appreciated! It’s organized by the NuttinTODO company, which has office in the Mundi Center, a place with a lot of great start-ups worth a visit as well. This will most likely the place from where you start. The bikes were brand-new and are capable of even the steepest hill in Kigali without making you sweat. Don’t think twice, just book!
Spent a great 3 hours with my guide Jean. Bikes were good which is important as Kigali is famously hilly. We visited a range of significant sites which included breakfast in old Kigali and genocide memorial museum. Throughout, Jean weaved together the history of Rwanda linked to the places we visited. Need to be a little bit bike wise on the busy roads and local traffic rules.
John was delightful and insightful. Riding bikes is an amazing way to see Kigali! Beautiful city 💗 We rode 25km. The bikes are on really great shape.
It starts with a guide, and John has unwavering passion for Rwanda, and is full of detailed information. The bike ride begins in a bizarre manner where you instantly merge with the city traffic. After a few minutes, you become aware that you assimilate easily with the vehicles and motor bikes. Once this sets in, you begin to enjoy the lush greenery, the curvy roads, the endless hills, and the absence of litter. A few stops for photo ops, a meal, and learning about extremely unfortunate historic moments fills in the non-biking time. A great first day introduction to Kigali. Thanks John!
John was amazing. I was nervous at the traffic that I thought would have reduced by Sunday afternoon but he was patient and mindful of his lead. Gained confidence in no time and loved seeing beautiful, clean Kigali
What a great tour. E bikes were really great and so needed for hilly Kigali! Saw a lot of the city and learnt a lot about the history of the city and Rwanda. Really informative. Breakfast stop was great much needed. John was a great tour guide with an excellent knowledge of Rwandas history and all the main sites of Kigali. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience and wonderful tour guide! Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable and made the experience fun. We enjoyed seeing beautiful sights of Kigali
This Kigali E-Bike City Tour was an amazing experience and a fantastic way to explore the city. Riding through the green hills, local neighborhoods, and markets gave a real sense of Kigali’s culture and everyday life. John was an excellent guide very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, and he made sure everyone felt comfortable on the e-bikes regardless of skill level. He shared great insights about Kigali’s history, growth, and local traditions, which made the tour both fun and educational. The breakfast stop was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kigali and would absolutely do it again.
Had a superb experience biking around Kigali with NuttinTODO. My tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and very interesting. I recommend this
John is a good guy . he teach me how to handle the E bike. he is very nice. I have a happy trip in Kigali. I like Rwanda and Rwandan.
The experience overall was amazing! The ebike / equipment was of a high standard making it accessible and comfortable those not as fit. John the tour guide was extremely professional and knowledgable and provided significant insights to the history of the country. I will definitely recommend any and all to try this when visiting Rwanda.
I had an awesome experience with John. The bikes were really nice and Kigali is a great city for biking. The best part of the tour was the recap of Rwandan history that John provided, along with sharing his own story. Totally recommended!
My trip was met with some unexpected challenges - a thunderstorm and then a punctured tire. Nevertheless, my tour guide, John, made it an unforgettable experience. I really appreciated all the insight into the city and the history of Rwanda and enjoyed every stop we made.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I did the e-bike tour in Kigali and it was absolutely amazing! We rode through the streets, zigzagging our way around the city, and it was such a fun way to explore. My guide, John, was fantastic—very knowledgeable and full of interesting information about Kigali. The whole experience was smooth, exciting, and really enjoyable. Definitely something I would recommend to anyone visiting!
Our guide Jon was great. He told us a comprehensive history of the country up to and including the genocide. Took us all over. You should have some cycling experience with some hills being quite steep and navigating through crazy traffic. It was vehicle free day in some parts so we were very lucky. We stopped at a local restaurant for breakfast and coffee. All over a great experience.
I had such a fantastic experience on this bike tour, and my guide John, was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly, he made the ride both fun and safe, the pace of the ride was very well balanced. I got to enjoy incredible views and insightful stories about the areas we visited. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting kigali
No complaints about the guide or equipment, although my friend couldn't go as they had no smaller bike for short legs. It was a nice way to see the city, although some of the streets you ride on are frighteningly busy (no riding on the sidewalk) and the exhaust was murder on my country lungs. Hills in Kigali are steep, and the motor doesn't help as much as I expected - we got off to push a couple times. But we saw some of the wealthiest neighborhoods and some poorer, landmarks and local hangouts - I felt I got a good cross section of the city on our 20km ride.
And I had so much fun walking with beautiful people. Unforgettable moments created and never forgotten. I wish I could get more time to have great times like these.
Great way to see the city and get a taste of different parts of town while enjoying the amazing scenery and a tasty breakfast. John our guide was very helpful, knowledgeable and made sure everyone was safe and supported throughout the tour. Highly recommended whether it’s your first time visiting Kigali or you just want to see the city in a new way.
Five stars for Mr. Shark and his excellent tour of Kigali. We rode 22km through the city, stopping at noteworthy and scenic locations. We ate a delicious breakfast together in the old quarter and visited the memorial to the UN Belgian soldiers who were killed in the lead-up to the genocide in 1994. The whole experience was very enjoyable, I highly recommend it to visitors to Kigali, and also recommend checking out Nuttin TO DO's website for many more experiences of local art, food and culture.
It was a very exciting experience, really got to feel the vibe of the city and the streets. It was thrilling at times: riding down the long hilly slopes of Kigali, but I always felt safe thanks to the awesome guide John! I learned a lot about the history as well and was very touched by the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial and the History of the Genocide. I couldn't have wished for a better way of experiencing Kigali.
I had an amazing bike tour with Jean de Dieu as my guide. Jean de Dieu was an excellent guide: professional, attentive, and friendly. I felt safe at all times, and he made sure I was comfortable throughout the ride. It was a perfect blend of adventure, scenery, and great company. Highly recommend! Extremely pleased!
This was hands down one of the highlights of my time in Kigali! The E-Bike City Tour organized by NuttinTODO was seamless, energizing, and full of personality. Shark, our guide and organizer, was fantastic — warm, fun, and full of fascinating stories about the city. We covered almost 25 kilometers across Kigali, but thanks to the e-bikes, the ride felt effortless even on the hilly stretches. The route was thoughtfully designed, offering a mix of scenic city views, peaceful residential zones, and vibrant local life. One of the most memorable parts was cycling through the car-free zone in Nyamirambo — a Muslim-majority area known for its welcoming vibe, no-alcohol policy, and a wide range of local eateries. Shark shared interesting cultural context and pointed out hidden gems along the way. Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Kigali.
Had an epic e-bike tour through Kigali’s “thousand hills” with our awesome guide, Shark. Stunning views, great energy — Ooh and you definitely wanna try Shark’s “double R” juice!
If you want to get some great bicycling exercise while simultaneously touring the sights of Kigali, this experience is for you. Our tour guide, Shark, put together a great 14 mile trail for riding through the hills and valleys of this amazing city. The route has just the right amount of hills so that you are not overly stressed and are only possible to climb with the highest quality mountain e-bikes, which are provided. The bicycle groups are kept small to ensure safety as the traffic is quite busy at times. Because the bicycle tour takes about 3 hours, there is still plenty of time to see the Genocide Memorial Museum, to complete your day.
Very interesting visit with brand new bicycles A great opportunity to feel the city Very nice guide 2 hours to do the tour
The ride was beautiful, with so many highlights! Shark also provided tips on language, restaurants, nightlife and food. Great way to start a trip in Kigali
I did the e-bike tour with Shark in July 2025. I had such a lovely time. Shark has crafted the experience really well. Given the hilly terrain of Kigali, e-bike is the best way to move around and see the city. We made stops along the way - to grab food, to absorb the sceneries and to learn about the history. Overall, highly recommended. I would def do it again if I happen to be in Kigali again.
Fantastic adventure! Highly recommended! Great to see Kigali this way, would be difficult to do without being on an ebike as rather hilly
Brilliant way to see Kigali. Exhilarating and fun. Need to be moderately fit even though using eBikes. Excellent host.
Riding through the city’s beautiful hills and neighborhoods on an electric bike was such a fun and engaging way to experience Kigali.
It was amazing !! Loved it all, starting from sitting on the bike. The bikes are great thanks ! Great way to visit the city.
Great guide, fantastic ride. Got to see the entire city in 3 hours. Nice and well maintained bikes. He knows his way around everywhere.
I had an absolutely incredible experience exploring Kigali by E-bike with Nuttin to do. From start to finish, the tour was so much fun. The electric bikes made it easy to navigate the city’s hills without getting too tired, allowing me to focus on the sights, sounds, and culture. This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Rwanda. If you’re visiting Kigali and want a fun, eco-friendly, and engaging way to explore, I highly recommend booking an E-bike tour with Nuttin to do .You won’t regret it! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Kigali. He shared fascinating stories about the city’s history, local life, and hidden gems we would’ve missed on our own. We visited vibrant neighborhoods, peaceful green spaces.Riding through the clean, safe streets of Kigali on an E-bike gave us a unique perspective of the city that you just don’t get from a car.
Shark, our guide, started with lessons on e-bikes because we had never ridden. Then took us on the most amazing ride around Kigali. Things I think we would have never seen had we not done the ride. We stopped for hydration and sat and talked with him explaining the way the city is arranged. I loved every minute of this experience.
This has been by far my best E-bike ride through Kigali hills! Mhamad is super friendly and made the ride so much fun and interesting. We stopped for a well-deserved break, enjoyed some Arabic food in Biryogo, and visited the Belgium Memorial in our way. I highly recommend this E-bike tour if you want to discover Kigali in a beautiful way ✨
The tour was super nice, on the bikes you see many beautiful views and the e bikes make the up and downhill of Kigali much easier. Shark our guide was very nice and gave us some recommendations for things to do later on. I’m so glad this was the first stop on our trip!
