Kigali City Sightseeing

Had a great day seeing the sites of Kigali with my guide Kevin. He was full of information and happy to go at my place. I recommend this tour if you want to see the city and some of the outskirts too

Rwanda is a small landlocked country , you should know their every day life style, how they manage to keep country safty and clean ,tidy, people are extremely friendly . highly recommended to visit at least 3 days

Kevin our tour guide was phenomenal. His knowledge of Kigali and all of the fantastic sites made each stop come to life. The Kigali genocide memorial was both educating and touching. Visiting The markets and seeing the people as we drove around the city was excellent

Shadaddy was a fantastic guide and went out of his way to help us. We loved this trip. We asked Olivier to give us a slightly customized change that allowed us to spend more time at the genocide memorial which we highly suggest. Give yourself at least 90 minutes to see the whole museum. Highly recommended!

I booked this tour for my first day in Rwanda and it was an excellent introduction to Kigali. My guide, Shadady, was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with him almost immediately and enjoyed my day with him. I learned a lot on the tour and especially appreciated my visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, heartbreaking as it was. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who has just arrived in Kigali and wants to get their bearings and learn more about the city and Rwanda in general!

Are guide John Paul gave us new insights/information about Hotel Rwanda. Also the views were spectacular. The food at the local restaurant was delicious. A It has been great being here in Kigali.

Used this company to do a kigali city tour, and they were good and informative, picked us up from are hotel at the allocated time and took us on a city tour ,complete with WiFi in the car ,the guide told us lots and was informative,recommend to use this company if ever in Rwanda.

We had an amazing and unforgettable time on our city tour. Our guide Jean Paul was incredibly patient and helped us connect with the country and people. We loved that we didn't only go the tourist spots and that entrance and food costs were included in the price. Great for people like us on a budget. It was worth the cost and we would recommend this tour to anyone.

Olivier and Cedric were our guides on this tour we took with friends at the end of a conference. They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and adaptable. I made changes to our reservations 3 times and Olivier was always flexible in making changes. The meal and refreshments were fantastic. The tour to the local market was also excellent. Highly, highly recommended.

Was only passing through Rwanda for a couple of days and wanted to absorb some of the culture and and city sights. Shaddaddy was our guide, he was professional, friendly and energetic. I'd recommend this tour if you're not familiar with Kigali as it gives you a variety of experiences in the city. We ended the tour with a beer on a rooftop with some incredible views of the city before we were dropped off back at our hotel.

Wonderfully paced tour arranged by Olivier, that introduced locations of prominence in Kigali and its surroundings, including time at the Memorial. A wealth of information and insights were shared, and the refreshment stops were at places highly regarded in their own right. The hospitality and professionalism shown by Countryside made immediately booking an additional tour with this outfit an easy choice.

Our guides, Olivier and Esther, gave us such a wonderful tour and helped us really get a feel for, and experience Kigali in a way we would not have been able to on our own. We loved the Kigali City Sight Seeing tour. We took a lot of beautiful pictures of the gorgeous mountainous terrains of Rwanda. Also, we visited several markets and purchased Rwanda items from the beautiful people of Rwanda. Our tour guide Olivier was awesome ☺️. Olivier knew a lot about Rwandan history and current issues of the country. Olivier was on time and engaged well with us and Rwandan locals. He also treated us to delicious 😋 meal and beverages. I can't say enough positive things about Olivier but we greatly appreciated his tour. We will certainly get another tour with this tour company again.

I took this tour as I just moved to Kigali and wanted to get an overview of the town and various neighborhoods. This tour provided just this. My guide Emmanuel was extremely helpful and patient with my endless questions about Kigali and Rwanda. He provided great information on the history of the country and city, but also was very helpful in showing me how things 'work' in Kigali - eg how to use mobile money, book a taxi, what various neighborhoods were like, etc. - eg requests beyond what the tour required. However, if you are just here as a tourist and are familiar with other African countries, you might not need a full day tour. You might do the 1/2 day instead. The restaurant we went to for lunch was fine, but a bit random...There must be places for lunch with a nice view, or something a bit more interesting...

Kigali City Sightseeing was a nice experience. Olivier my guide was professional and provided good customer service. He was patient when I changed the itinerary slightly. The stop points on the tour were ok. I didn't get as much of the historical knowledge from this tour but I did get to observe the beauty of Kigali. I appreciated that there was free wifi and comfortable transportation. The lunch option that was offered was good as well as the drink on the rooftop hotel. Overall, a nice tour.

Motorcycle tour, great fun the rain held off and i realy enjoyed it, ride motorcyles my self so no problems

It was amazing. Totally worth it. The tour sites I visited. I enjoyed the tour and also lost track of time. This is a tour you should definitely embark on.

Jean was such a great tour guide. He customized the trip based on what I wanted to see. We did enjoy a good buffet but I would have preferred a lunch at a restaurant with Rwanda food. The hotel had a great view of the city. Great trip.

When I first arrived in Kigali, I had Shaddad show me around. The tour was awesome and covered must-see places in Kigali. I enjoyed the colorful Gahanga market. The Genocide Museum was also very interesting though terribly sad. I could also observe life on the street in Kigali and in the Nyamirambo suburb, which was fascinating to me.

Shaddad (means "the Strong one" in Arabic) was a great guide to this exciting and vibrant city. It is fun to travel around town with him. You wouldn't guess that Kigali has 1 million people, because everyone seems to know Shaddad and shares a joke, a laugh, and a smile when you go by with him. Olivier was also very good about communicating and making sure everything was correctly organized. (North Americans: you should consider installing WhatsApp on your phone, because it makes communication easier in Africa.)

We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Conscience and her driver were absolutely nice. Special thanks to Conscience who handled my little girl very well. Nice visit by nice people. We recommend strongly that visit.

The tour was very interesting. We visited Kigali’s main attractions and the opportunity to take good photos. Shadady was a very attentive guide and he gave us a lot of information. The car was super comfortable. As it was Sunday, a few of the activities were not as interesting as they might have been. If possible, pick another week day and you will really enjoy it.

The tour was so insightful, Our host Olivier was very lovely, contacted us as soon as the tour was booked to finalize arrangements for the day. Shaddad our tour guide was on time and very pleasant, answered any questions we had and gave us an insight into what it it like being Rwandan. The stop at the Genocide Memorial was informative and whelming, please take cash for donations. Drinks at the end of the tour overlooking the beautiful Kigali landscape was a nice touch. 10/10 would recommend.

my guide Bosco was great, he did a thorough briefing before we even left my hotel and he was on time and very courteous. He was patient with all my questions and had answers for them all! Olivier the owner was in contact with me immediately via whats app after i booked the tour to confirm everything and again on the morning of the tour. The car also had wifi which was awesome

To be honest I booked this trip because it was the only one I could find that would accept a solo traveller! (Everyone else wanted a minimum of 2 people.) I did not regret it! Shadady my guide arrived on time at my hotel and then proceeded to show me around the city. He was knowledgeable and friendly and a safe driver. The trip lasted all day and the included lunch was very tasty and filling. It was a day of contrasts between the busy, affluent city centre and the less wealthy outskirts with plenty to see! The drink at the top of a hotel overlooking the city to end the day was a real highlight! The Wi-fi in the vehicle was a nice extra but there was so much to look at that I hardly used it!! I would recommend this trip, especially to solo travellers, but it’s a great introduction to an interesting city for anyone!

We had a wonderful day with our guides. I had injured my foot coming from mount Bisoke. They provided an extra guide in case I couldnt keep up all the time. Recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kigali for the first time.

Words can't fully express how much fun I had on this tour. Olivier was so accommodating of my requests and knowledgable about his country. I learned so much about Rwanda on this tour. Very well organized, and flexible tour. I asked the guide to change the route for my business, and he accepted very nicely. Had good lunch and interesting Uganda Waragi (gin) at a bar with great view. The guide spoke sufficient English, and was very warm and welcoming. Quite satisfied overall, but expected little bit more for that price to be honest.

This Kigali City Sightseeing was great because it showed everything you should see in Kigali. Particularly worthy of note is an extremely friendly guide with lots of explanations and answers to questions. It is also important to point out the ending of a drink in the restaurant at the top of the hotel in the city centre overlooking the whole city. I would definitely highly recommend this Kigali City Sightseeing to anyone who wants to meet Kigali in one day. Sunday is a very good day for the tour because there is no traffic crowd.

I just finished a Kigali tour taken with my Brother and sister in law. Olivier was very helpful in customizing our tour so we could include The Nyamata Genocide Memorial.
