Hemingways Retreat Kigali

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this place. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced this kind of treatment. The last time I came, the same issues happened, and this time it happened again even though I had booked in advance before coming. What I find especially unacceptable is hearing staff talk negatively about customers, judging customers, and seemingly prioritizing white customers over others. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated in any professional establishment. I believe the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) should seriously investigate complaints of this nature. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of their nationality or background. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointing and unacceptable. ( Nadia , Diane ) if you accept reservations for someone make sure you corporate with your Team. Disappointed in your manager as well .

Great hotel and friendly staff. The meals we had were amazing. My wife had a massage that she loved. Its a great city with amazing people.

The environment is clean, comfortable, and relaxing, making it a perfect place to stay and unwind. I truly enjoyed my visit and would recommend it to others.

An amazing honeymoon stay! The Retreat by Heaven hotel is beautifully designed sitting in a perfect location in Kigali. After traveling to Rwanda, it was the perfect location to stay in to explore the city before embarking on to Volcanoes National Park. The staff were exceptional as every single person we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel cared for, safe, and completely at ease during our entire stay. The food was delicious and the welcome massage was amazing. All the small touches made our stay there feel so special. We both left wishing we had more time to explore this magical city and all the hotel also had to offer. We absolutely recommend it!
