Very nice Hotel right in down town. Park your car in the garage under the Hotel (OK 22€ per day is a bit much but hey your car is safe down there ☺️) and walk right up to reception. Hotel is nicely decorated and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast selection. Room was clean and spacious and everything worked well. Will stay here again when back in town.
Didn't stay at the hotel, just dropped by for breakfast and it was totally worth it! Huge variety of fresh and tasty options, everything was so good. Perfect way to start the morning, def coming back!
The staff is very welcoming and with its proximity to the good restaurants and walk ways it is an excellent place to stay. Breakfast spread is good, WiFi login is straightforward with no annoying room number page required. The only thing I found surprising is lack of toiletries and essentials at the hotel. Perhaps a bottle of lotion…..
Pretty standard for this price point. Rooms are god and clean. Breakfast is good, many choices. My colleagues said that the gym was better than usual in hotels. We also had dinner in the Hotel and it was good enough, the GT was very good.
Scandic Oulu City is a pleasant hotel overall, with some clear highlights. The staff are truly excellent—very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist, which makes a big difference to the stay. The breakfast is also good, with a nice variety and a fresh, satisfying selection to start the day. The room itself is okay and comfortable enough for a short stay. However, the bathroom could definitely be improved. When you take a shower, the water tends to go everywhere, making the floor very wet, and we've to wipe the water afterward. This design isn’t very practical and takes away from the comfort. With some improvements to the bathroom layout, this hotel could be much better. Thanks to the great staff and good breakfast, it’s still a decent choice in Oulu.
