Hotelli Cumulus Oulu

Functional, nice and light-filled rooms, friendly staff, good location (quiet, yet close to station and city centre), nice sauna and pool. Breakfast was decent. Building is a bit older, but this was no issue (also no smells etc.). Realky good value for money.

Hotels is good located, close to the station and the city center. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good (unfortunately there is only filter coffee available- no espresso based drinks). Swimming pool and sauna are pleasant. Given this is a 4-star hotel, some things are missing. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room (although I found a kettle in the cupboard). No tissues/body lotion. Also, there is a sewage smell in the bathroom. Slippers/bathrobe are charged.

Scandic Oulu Station location is excellent for travellers. It is close to train&bus station and it is located on non-busy street, which provides some escape from traffic&city noises of Oulu city. Hotel building is not modern, but very comfy & calm. One thing worth of noting is that for mobile charging there is couple of USB-ports on bed so headboard

Was a good hotel in middle of town not too far from train station as I walked there from the station. Was a massive queue to check in when I arrived so sat in restaurant with a friend I had in the hotel already. Was seen in about 20 mins. Rooms were spacious and decent. Bed was nice had a good nights sleep. There is a fully stocked fridge which you need to pay for m, a table on the bed side table to assist with your stay. The bar was awesome the drinks flowed with the aid of a great bar man. The food was to die for when it comes to pub food. Highly suggest the ribs and beyond burger. Breakfast was good but I’m a late riser so missed some of it.
