Very nice place and the employees at the hotel are nice as well. Unfortunately the cabins are very outdates and worn, they could use a good refresh. Having EV charging possibility at the cabins would be great, but currently it is only available at the main hotel.
Easy to find and plenty of parking. Very nice area overall. Hotel is also very well designed. Basically everything is accessable by the central main elevator. Feels like the whole hotel is built around the elevator, very convenient.
We stayed two nights in the hotel for a skiing trip. It was perfect stay. Distance to the ski resort is ok with a car. Not sure if it’s possible to walk there. Many thanks to the booking service which helped us with our problem. Breakfast is good. Room is clean. Happy with the room service. Enjoyed the stay in family room. There could be discounts if you visit the other spa place. We didn’t have time to go there though. ABC charging poles available in the hotel parking lot.
Great hotel. We stayed in one of the cabins/cottages. It was well appointed and we had a lot more space than we anticipated. The kitchen was a full kitchen with all appliances. The cabins were about a 10 minute walk in the snow from the main hotel. Some might not like that but we were fine with it. Service in the hotel was perfect, breakfast was good and the restaurant Amarillo served good food. Staff were friendly and attentive and we are glad we chose Break Sokos Hotel Vuokatti.
We have just returned back from staying at Break Sokos as one of Tui’s first guests. Even though we were told that it was Lapland and it isn’t Lapland this has nothing to do with the amazing place we have just stayed. Cottages— we stayed in one of the larger cottages and these are incredible. They don’t get showcased enough and not much info is available on them but they are beautiful, very clean and have comfy beds. A nice decking area and the added touch of a private sauna. The kitchen area has a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, kettle so is well equipped. Location— wow wow wow!! Just incredible. I believe summer or winter this place would be great and we’ve said we would love to come again and see it all green and have fun on the lakes. We took a short walk to Max’s snow world from our cottage and it took around 30 mins (with small children) that was really enjoyable. Staff— very friendly always on hand if needed but we didn’t come across any issues whilst there so didn’t actually need any assistance but those that we did see were always happy to chat or give a friendly smile. We had an amazing time and will sure to recommend this place- summer or winter as it was truly wonderful. Thank you all.
