Private Na Pali Coast Boat Charter 4.5 Hour Adventure

Fantastic boat ride, full of culture and history. Lots of up close dolphin viewing and great snacks during the deep sea swim. Highly competent and personable crew. Rachel and Shauna were fantastic. This is a “must do” if you are visiting Kau’i.

Our family did the tour with Erica and Shawna. They were very knowledgeable and had an awesome attitude. The tour was great, as we got to see lots of Spinner Dolphins, we had a clear day for the sights and got to back into one of the caves. I recommend this as a great way to see the coast and highly recommend the guides Shawna and Erica.

We had the most amazing experience with Napoli Expeditions and Captain Jackie & Colleen! They were professional, knowledgeable and made the journey SO fun! The coastline is gorgeous and we got an up close few of it which was spectacular! We were worried about getting seasick but followed their recommendations and had no problems! The snacks were yummy…fresh pineapple, chips, drinks and a great way to take a break from scenic cruising. We even saw a wild goat on the mountain side along with beautiful waterfalls and foliage. Book it!

Shawna and captain awesome were fantastic! We cruised Napoli and went in the caves and stopped in areas to learn about the ancient history of this magical place! What a gift to all of us. They love what they do and it shows. Stopped on the way back for a swim and some fresh pineapple and drinks! Lovely experience and so happy we went! I recommend getting to know this side of the island and this tour. Thank you!

We had an absolute blast!! 10/10 experience! 🌊 The captain/guides (I believe their names were Jake and RJ I could be mistaken? ) either way they were amazing and did a fantastic job navigating the boat. The caves were absolutely incredible, and the views were exceptional! Snorkeling was so much fun, and the entire adventure was unforgettable. My only suggestion would be to invest in a GoPro or something similar to capture photos and videos of the guests enjoying their adventures, then post them on your website for purchase. I would have absolutely bought photos to remember this experience!

We booked with a group of 6. We had a great time. I loved that we were allowed to sit at the bow of the boat to see the dolphins. The tour was amazing and RJ and Jane were excellent tour guides.

Had an amazing tour with captain Chellen and Casey. The caves and places that Captain Chellen is able to get the boat into is pretty amazing. Was a great trip. Went on the first tour and saw an enormous pod of spinner dolphins . The Napali Coast was stunning. The trip was fun and super well-run. Would highly recommend!! Way better going in small groups on these really unique boats than going on huge sail boats.

This experience is AMAZING! We had a private charter for a group of seven adults, which I highly recommend as it allowed for plenty of room on the boat, ease moving about the boat to enjoy the sights, the dolphins (SO MANY DOLPHINS and BABY DOLPHINS!!!), etc. The staff were amazing as well - friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and great photographers for those group shots. Without question (other than the diving for those of us who dive) our favorite part of our time on Kauai!!!

Jacky and Lynn were amazing! We did a tour with this company 10 years ago and it was just as good as we remembered. The captains made sure they found dolphins for us and when our youngest daughter wasn't feeling well, were quick with snacks and sprite.

Such an incredible afternoon on the water. Brian and Captain Jane were so good and communication and safety. We rode up the coast and stopped for snorkeling on the way back. With the coast we got to go inside a few of the ocean caves and that was really unique and fun. Then we got a great view of the cliffs in several spots, they stopped in front of the cathedrals and took pictures for everyone. After snorkeling, they had fresh cut pineapple and drinks and snacks for us to enjoy. They shared so many stories and quality information. Fantastic time!

Absolutely stellar work by Corbin and Casey this morning we had a blast Corbin’s navigating was unparalleled he handled some gross chop very well . Great team work between the two as well both extremely attentive to details and to each guest on the vessel simultaneously while managing weather conditions and wildlife we ran into a bunch of dolphins consistently , they navigated us into several caves flawlessly in less than ideal conditions so that we could all have a phenomenal experience and memories that will last a lifetime and most importantly they know when to call it wraps as weather looked like it was going to come in on us and make it less than pleasant for everyone coming from a Vegas limo driver the hospitality was 5 star the experience was 5 star and these guys actually got to know each of us on this trip well worth the money and experience I highly recommend this one !!!

GO! Do not debate this! The BEST if only your you will need in Kuwai! See the best of this island from a 16 passenger sea boat. Not for children or the faint hearted, but from a 75 yr old woman who was nervous about doing this trip, it was worth every cent. Our captain Corbin was informative, funny and willing to answer any questions. Bring a light rain jkt, surprisingly you will need it! Wonderful!

We cannot say enough glowing things about our experiences on the boat. Our family was 4 of the 13 passengers band our son and daughter 8/6 were the only children. Capt Jane and Seana were experts at handling boating novices. I was so impressed how seamlessly they worked together to manage the vessel , the passengers, and teach us about Hawaiian history, geography, geology as well all of the creatures. We saw schools of dolphins , sharks, snorkeled in a beautiful reef and had a perfect day. Unlike the catamaran. The boat and highly skilled women enable us to enter multiple sea caves and provide breathtaking views. They were warm and playful with our kids. Do yourself a favor and ask for Jane and Seana.

Captain Jake and first mate RJ were great - lots of great info on the history of Na Pali, sites, etc. We faced some tricky weather conditions, no sweat for Jake - handled with ease. Would highly recommend for anyone interested in seeing the Na Pali coast!

Amazing adventure with my family of 7 hosted by Captain Jake and Captain Lynn both could not make us feel more welcome, safe and informed about the stunning Na Pali Coast. The boat was sturdy yet comfortable, extremely clean and had all the safety features which Capt Jake went into great detail reviewing. Capt Lynn was extremely knowledgeable about all wildlife in the ocean and on land. We saw dolphins, turtles, seals and beautiful tropical fish while snorkeling. The Na Pali tour is not inexpensive but when we saw the other boats pass by with tourists clinging for their lives on rafts we were glad we spent the extra money for the private tour. We were lucky with the weather and the calmer seas so we were able to snorkel in a beautiful quiet spot and the snorkel gear was top notch. Capt Jake and Capt Lynn are a great team and we all enjoyed their knowledge and stories of HI and especially Kauai and the Na Pali coast.

RJ and Jake were great tour guides! The boat ride was fun, the snorkeling was awesome, the commentary and history of the island was very informative. Jake can really cut some pineapple up too! lol! They would take you into the caves, get you as close as they could to waterfalls, provided everything we needed for a fun and safe trip. We will definitely go again the next time we visit Hawaii. Amazing experience and loved our guides!!

Our family of four had a great time with Captain Ian and Rocky on our morning tour. They were very knowledgeable, fun and made the experience of seeing the Na Pali coast the best half day. We had 18 people on our tour and it was the perfect amount. They made sure each person had opportunities to move about the boat and was nice to have shaded area. The drinks and snacks were refreshing after snorkeling. A+

Hands down the BEST boat tour I have ever been upon. The crew, Jane & Malka, were incredible, professional and knowledgeable. They ensured we had the best day on the water. Jane's DJ skills as she captained our boat were also spot on and really added to the fun of the day.

My wife and I did the Na Pali Experience on August 10th during our honeymoon, and it absolutely lived up to all the recommendations we received. We had the 8:30 AM departure with Captain Dan and Captain Colleen, and somehow lucked into what they said was one of the most perfect days they’d had all year—beautiful weather and an incredibly calm ocean. The entire trip was amazing. We saw tons of dolphins, a few sea turtles, fish, waterfalls, caves, and some of the most incredible scenery we’ve ever experienced. The Na Pali Coast is such a unique landscape, and seeing it from the water is something pictures really can’t do justice. Captain Dan and Captain Colleen were awesome—friendly, engaging, experienced, and full of great stories and history about the coastline. They kept the trip fun and relaxed while still making us feel like we were in very capable hands. The boat itself had plenty of room, great music, a bathroom if needed, and they provided everyone with their own dry bag for belongings. We did hit some rain near the north end and got pretty soaked, so a light rain jacket wouldn’t hurt if you want to stay dry, but honestly it was all part of the experience. Before heading back, we stopped to snorkel and hang out in the water, with all the snorkeling gear provided. They also had light snacks throughout the trip and finished it off with fresh pineapple. Special shoutout to Captain Dan’s wife for apparently teaching him some seriously impressive pineapple cutting and presentation skills 😂. Between the dolphins, caves, waterfalls, snorkeling, incredible coastline, and the captains themselves, this was easily one of the highlights of our honeymoon. If you’re visiting Kauai and considering a Na Pali Coast tour, we highly recommend Na Pali Experience. We’d absolutely do it again.

This was the best tour! It was definitely the beat part of our Kauai vacation! Directions were easy and the operators were there waiting for us. We left promptly at the time we were supposed to. Kasey and Chellen were the best tour guides! They were very fun and informative of what we were seeing and the history on the island and the culture! We saw lots of dolphins that were swimming along with our boat for a long while, so the guarantee was real! The caves we went into were amazing and so cool to see! We also had time, probably about half an hour to snorkel before the end of our boat tour! I would very much recommend and I would like to say that Kasey and Chellen were super fun! Thank you for an amazing time!

Cape Ian and Roxy were perfect! Small group - maybe 20 people. Strong boat if seas are rough. Capt is very good about making sure people have the opportunity to move around the boat to get the best views, experience and photos. Snorking and dolphins were a bonus! Felt very safe and learned a bunch about the Napali coast!

Rocky and Capt Ian were absolutely epic. Kind, knowledgeable, and Ian was a great safe Captian. The Hawaiian hospitality that most every where else seems to lack, Rocky and Ian have 150%. They went above and beyond to make everyone included, comfortable and happy. The trip was epic we were lucky and saw two huge pods of spinner dolphins, swam a nice reef with tons of fish and a turtle passed by us, and we saw every cave and waterfall Na’Pali had to offer. Thanks for being the best part of Kauai!

Amazing experience! Great captains, incredible views and the absolute best thing we did in Kauai!!

We booked a private tour with Na Pali, and it was totally worth it. Chellen and Casey were awesome! It was fun to learn about the history of the island and its people while taking in the beautiful scenary. They were great about making sure everyone was comfortable and we had some great photo opps. One important thing to consider - Na Pali Experience looks like it uses slightly smaller boats than some of the larger tour companies. This actually works out to your advantage - Chellen was able to get us inside a couple of the sea caves where a larger vessel definitely wouldn't fit.

Was hesitant at first given I have 3 smaller children (6/6/4), but from the start they loved it! Captain Colleen and Dan were engaged, knowledgeable and great to be around. I would go in the morning with children to see the dolphins. Well worth the experience and something you won’t forget.

We had the BEST time with Brian & Captain Dan! Unfortunately, I’m usually a seasick girly, but I was fine during this whole tour. They recommended Dramamine the night before & an hour before & it worked. Plus, even though they rotate everyone around the boat to make it fair, they helped keep me in the back & middle so I wouldn’t get sick. They were also SUPER knowledgeable about the Na Pali coast & the whole island. Not only did they point out tons of pretty points, but also pointed out filming and stunt locations. They were extremely knowledgeable about native Hawaiian history and wildlife. I was seriously impressed by not only their immaculate boat, but their immense amount of experience & knowledge. We had our children with us & were completely at ease knowing we were all in the hands of such professionals.
