Poipu And Koloa E-bike Scenic Tour

Lori and Gene are fantastic. Great overall experience. Easy to find meetings place and great history of the island.

Our tour was lead by the owners, Lori and Eugene. We were greeted at the meeting point where the e-bikes were prepped. Because my wife and I completed our waivers ahead of time, all that was left to do was get on our bikes and start the tour. Lori lead the way and ensured all the guests were familiarized with the technical use of the bikes. As we traveled, she used a radio transmitter to speak to all seven of the guests whose bikes were equipped with wireless speakers. It was a huge plus to receive the historical background of the different sites in real time as we encountered them with wheels rolling. There were several stops that allowed everyone to rest a bit, get a snack, and use the restroom. At each stop, Eugene and Lori presented local knowledge like seasoned team teachers. They did a nice job complementing one another, picking up where the other left off. The 3-hour tour was just the right amount of time to get a feel of Poipu and the surrounding area.

This may become the best activity of our trip to Hawaii. We spent 4 days on the big island then came to Kauai. The bike ride was fabulous! Not too easy, not too hard, just right. Plenty of historical facts about the Poipo area along with information about the local beaches, restaurants, flora and fauna. The turtles were not on the beach for us so we plan to come back this evening and hope to see them. Highly recommend this activity.

It is the best way to get some fun exercise and learn about the history of the island. The pace was not overwhelming and easy for young and old. The e-bikes are well maintained and the guides are knowledgeable. They are willing to answer all questions. I highly recommend this e-bike tour.

Lori and Eugen were the best! They made the tour fun and informative. Wish we would have made this tour our first when we arrived rather than the last as they were excellent at pointing out where we should go and what else to do.

The tour guides, Eugene and Lori, were amazing. Their combined local knowledge made the tour experience memorable. The route was relatively flat and easy to navigate. The weather was beautiful the day we rode, although there was a little bit of rain the next day. Definitely have to keep an eye on weather patterns if you’re planning this tour. All-in-all, we had a great experience.

We absolutely recommend this tour on Kauai. Eugene and Lori were both fabulous tour guides, extremely knowledgeable about island history, answered all questions, and were warm and welcoming. The Specialized bikes were in excellent condition and super fun to ride (first time for me and my husband).

I highly recommend this tour. It is great for all fitness levels and biking experience. The tour is an easy ride that takes you to various sites with stops for discussions of history, wildlife, and geography and photo opportunities. The owners are very fun and filled with aloha spirit. They take pictures during the ride and send to you when finished and will even offer recommendations for other places visit and spots to eat during your stay.

Lori and Eugene were the perfect complement to this adventurous ride. This was my first E Bike experience and have been on regular bike tours and what a difference in the ride. I highly recommend this tour because its not only a good workout but a great way to better understand the Hawaiian culture

This was hands down the best active tour I experienced during my time in Hawaiʻi. As someone who travels often and does many bike tours, Lori and Eugene truly stand out. Their warmth, knowledge, and genuine love for Hawaiʻi shine through in every moment. I learned so much about the landmarks and history, got fantastic local food recommendations, and appreciated Lori’s helpful guidance with bike gears along the way. The difficulty level was perfect, and the e-bike made navigating the terrain both manageable and fun. I’m always thoughtful about booking cultural tours, and they exceeded every expectation with their respect for the land and deep understanding of its past and present. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and cared for — they are truly wonderful humans.

Fantastic trip. We were lucky to have a small group so the 2+ hours / 14 miles really flew by. We got a wonderful tour of the poipu area, Lori and Eugene gave us an amazing history lesson and even great recommendations where to eat and check out on our own. I’d suggest this at the start of your vacation so you have the recommended spots for your trip.

This e-bike tour was the highlight of our entire trip! Laurie and Eugene were incredibly warm, welcoming, and personable—truly some of the kindest people we met on the island, and we met many wonderful folks. The ride itself was easy, relaxing, and a lot of fun. When we arrived, they were fully prepared, helped everyone get comfortably fitted on their bikes, and gave a quick, simple tutorial on how everything worked. Their love for Kauai was immediately clear—and contagious—as they shared stories, history, and pointed out the sights along the way. The small speakers on each bike were a great touch, making sure everyone could hear their commentary. The stops throughout the ride were perfectly timed. Laurie and Eugene used each one to dive deeper into Kauai’s history and to answer our questions. Our stop at Spouting Horn included a potty break and delicious Hawaiian cookie. However, the stop at Poipu Beach to see the turtles was a definite favorite. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough—and suggest doing it early in your stay. Even after the ride ended, Laurie and Eugene offered us wonderful dining and shopping suggestions. You will absolutely love this experience!

This was a great bike tour! Lori and Eugene were wonderful guides—they were very knowledgeable about the island and so friendly. They made sure we were all comfortable with the bikes and went out of their way to give us a memorable experience. We loved seeing the turtles basking in the sun on Poipu beach and learning about Kauai’s history. Fun way to start the morning!

The bike tour was fantastic! Lori and Eugen were excellent hosts and tour guides. We learned A LOT about Kauai history, and greatly appreciated all the tips and suggestions about places to visit. We have done many excursions in Kauai, and Eugene and Lorie rank at the top to provide a fabulous experience in the lovely Poipu area. The Specialized bikes are wonderful, safe,,easy to operate. We learned about the sugar cane history, Prince Kuhio, and the many shopping and restaurants nearby while biking along beautiful scenery and landmarks. We walked among the great turtles resting on the beach, ate cookies at Spouting Horn, and listened to fascinating stories. Eugene probably has an IQ off the charts as he rattles off amazing facts at various historical sites. It was a great way to spend the morning and see so much of the gorgeous south shore. We left feeling so happy and impressed , this is a Must Do excursion. And when done hop on over to the Hyatt next door for lunch and walk the lovely grounds there! A perfect day.!

Terrific active way to view and learn all about the beautiful south shore of Kauai. We viewed historic sites, wonderful beaches, and whales breaching.

This was a fun experience! The Ebikes made the ride effortless while still feeling like you’re being active. The trip included some sightseeing with some Hawaiian history included. The early morning ride was great for less traffic on the road, nice temperatures and we even saw a turtle still sleeping at the beach. This is a great activity for younger and older individuals.

This tour was great. I highly recommend it. The path is well thought out and the bike ride is pretty easy. The bikes are easy to operate snd comfortable. Each bike had a Bluetooth speaker so everyone can hear the narration and directions along the route. Lori and Eugen are fantastic tour guides and provide a lot of interesting stories along the way. It was a lot of fun.

Lori and Eugene were wonderful tour guides for the south side of the island. The E-bikes made a 15 miles ride feel like a breeze and we got a history lesson along the way.

Lori the owner stayed in touch prior to the tour and meeting up at shipwreck beach was easy. It’s a great tour. The e-bikes are top quality and well maintained. Small group of 5 guests (their max is 7). Several stops and the guide had a microphone and we had little speakers on the bikes so we had a running commentary. At each stop we learned something about Kauai history and or present day. I’ve been to Kauai 5 times and thought I was well informed but I learned a lot. We had two guides - one in the front and one in the back - and they were very safety conscious. It’s 14 miles but easy with e-bikes, and it’s mainly on county roads. Always felt safe. The tour is a bit pricey, but it’s 3 hours, great guides, hidden sites and an excellent time, so I found it to be well worth the cost.

Lori and Eugene were the best! So knowledgeable and so friendly. We learned so much but also saw some attractions that we would never have found on our own. We felt like long lost friends at the end of the trip! Rave reviews!!!

If you want to experience a great ebike tour, owners Lori and Eugene, are amazing. To begin, they provide “Specialized” brand ebikes, which have pedal assistance for easy riding (perfect for uphill). They know and explain the history of Kauia and Hawaii in general. The views along the way of the tour were breathetaking. We give this experience two thumbs up for the overall quality of the tour and professionalism of Lori and Eugene and easy going personalities. 👍👍

Fun way to start the day! Great for all skills levels. My parents are in their mid 70’s and they had a great time. Lori and Eugene are so friendly and patient. They were very accommodating to everyone in the group. Plus they give a great tour of Poipu with historical information and great places to see and eat. We had a great time.

This was a very nice experience and both our tour guides were exceptionally knowledgeable and nice. They had not only a lot of history about the area but could give good recommendations on places and restaurants.

Eugen and Lori are great tour guides. The bikes are in great condition, and they are equipped with a speaker so you can hear clearly while riding. Lori gives excellent directions and tips for using the e-bikes, although we are quite experienced with them, I would say anyone who can bike, can do this tour. They are very friendly (Eugen does the historical bits) and helpful, highly recommend this tour!

We had a phenomenal ride with owners Lori and Eugene. Both gave detailed commentary on the ride and at the five stops along the way. These stops were informative and included several points I had not heard before! Group size is intimate and allows for great interactions. Biking local roads - the e-bike makes it effortless. I recommend this for all ages and whether it’s your first or third time (like us) to the area.

It was an amazing bike ride through the island, Lori and Eugene were amazing and talked about all the landmarks and different areas available for activities in the island, I learned a lot about history of the island while enjoying the view and the amazing weather, I’d definitely go on the bike tour again and would recommend to everyone wanting to have a fun bike ride through the island. A wonderful overview of Poipu and Kōloa for all ages and bike abilities. Great commentary you can actually hear as each e-bike was outfitted with a speaker! Def recommend for a nice start to your day.

This bike tour was a fantastic way to spend a morning in Kauai. A very “doable” bike ride, especially with the e-bike assist. We learned so much about Kauai, and specifically, Poipu and Koloa. The scenery was just beautiful. Our guides, Lori and Eugene were great, and ….. we saw the turtles on Poipu Beach!

The ride was so beautiful. Lori, our guide knew about everything on the island. I’ve been on bike rides throughout the United States and this one was one of the top two. When we’re back in Kauai will definitely do again.

I booked this for my daughter 16th birthday and we had the best time! Lori and Eugene were so sweet, made sure everyone in the group stayed together, and talked us through the history of each of the stops we made. 101/10 would book this again!

Lori, Eugen, and Sosa were great!!! Lori did a fabulous job taking us around the island (and doing it safely) and Eugen had more knowledge of the island and all its history than a history book. All my family loved this tour and all said they want to do it again when we return.

Lori and Eugene were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They started the tour by giving us instructions about how to use the bikes and how to manage the ride, which made us comfortable. We did not expect to get as much history on the area, but all the knowledge they shared was a nice addition to what was a beautiful ride around the area. I highly recommend this tour.
