Absolutely Awesome! Kendra was so sweet getting us checked in and had us watch a pre-flight training video. Taylor. pilot extraordinaire, navigated the doors off helicopter deep into canyons, over the ocean and all sorts of land terrain. He provided location details and brief history over each point of interest and answered any questions we had. This is a MUST DO tour for anyone visiting Kauai and Ali'i Kauai Air Tours could not make the experience better. I highly recommend this tour group. A big thank you to Kendra for seamlessly rebooking our flight after a failure to communicate by a third-party booking company!

If you want to see the Napali coast and Wiamea Canyon up close, this is the best way of doing it. Definitely worth the money. We flew up close to deep canyons and many water falls that other companies went by. Sam was an amazing pilot and guide. Remember to bring a light jacket as it is a bit chilly traveling as fast the copter goes. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing experience! I've done helicopter tours before, which are a similar price but for a very limited time in the air. We were in the air for 1 hour and saw the whole island. The doors-off is a must. I was nervous about the doors-off, but once we were in the air, I didn't even think about it, and the views are so much better when you can feel the air. The pilot, Will, was great, talked us through what we were looking at, and answered all our questions while in the air. Aunty Mei was great as we checked in and talked us through the experience. The views over Na Pali Coast were incredible, and we'd seen them from a boat tour the day before, so it was amazing to see from the ground and the air. I can't recommend this heli experience enough. If you're worried about the price, do less on the ground and make this a priority.

This doors off helicopter tour was by far the best one I've ever been on in Hawaii. It all started with my booking with Mei. She was so helpful and accommodating. Upon meeting her prior to our tour, she was so pleasant and welcoming. Even her safety presentation was awesome. Our pilot Brett was phenomenal. My wife and I felt completely safe flying with him. He kept us apprised of when we would feel a little air bumping so we knew everything was normal. His knowledge of all the sites was unequaled. We missed nothing because of his attention to detail. The Na'Pali Coastline was breathtaking, flying in and out of the canyons. I would recommend Ali'i air tours to everyone looking to have a once in a lifetime experience!!

Flying over Waimea Canyon, the iconic Jurassic Park Falls, and the breathtaking Nā Pali Coast was absolutely surreal. Seeing remote waterfalls, lush valleys, and towering coastal cliffs from the air gave us a whole new appreciation for Kauaʻi’s beauty. Having the doors off made it even more thrilling, with incredible, unobstructed views! Atemei was so enthusiastic and thorough with her safety tips, helping us feel comfortable and prepared before takeoff. Our pilot, Brett, was incredible and made this an adventure we’ll never forget. I've never been in a helicopter, but I've been skydiving many times. It reminds me of the end of a skydive when you get to float overhead in slow motion - but instead of a few minutes you get a whole hour! Definitely recommend doors off so you don't have the helicopter window in every photo. Easy to get plenty of beautiful shots and was a great way to see the entire island especially the privately owned places you other can't access. Highly recommend!!

Our helicopter tour of Kauaʻi was absolutely magnificent and the undisputed highlight of our entire trip! Seeing the island from above is the only way to truly appreciate its scale. The views of the Nā Pali Coast sea cliffs were breathtaking, and flying into the deep gorges of Waimea Canyon felt like entering another world. We even got to see the iconic "Jurassic Park" falls and the cascading waterfalls of Mt. Waialeale. The pilot was incredibly knowledgeable, providing history while keeping the ride smooth and comfortable

It was great that they provided lanyards for phones. Will did a great job explaining all of the safety items before we took off. Wear a jacket it gets cool high in the mountains with no doors on. Doors off is the way to do the tour, you can feel the temperature changes and see so clearly without the doors on. Great trip! Definitely recommend for others!

This was my first-ever helicopter flight, and it became one of the most unforgettable highlights of my Hawaii trip. From the beginning, the staff were warm, patient, and funny. When the sunlight came through, I saw rainbows surrounding our helicopter. It was such a beautiful and unforgettable moment! 🌈🚁 Seeing Kauai from the air was truly spectacular and worth every minute. A must do experience for anyone who wants to see the beautiful Island of Kauai. Sam, our pilot, helped us feel safe and secure on the flight. We flew around the entire Island seeing the amazing geography of the Island, including the beautiful Waimea canyon and so many waterfalls and volcanos. We would do this again in a heartbeat.

Will was our pilot/guide and was terrific. His knowledge of local history, geology, geography was extraordinary. His piloting skills made us feel so comfortable. He flew the aircraft like a seasoned veteran. Flying with Will was worth every penny. And Auntie Mei was so welcoming and funny. We highly recommend flying with Ali’i tours.

This was the first helicopter ride for both my husband and I...it was amazing and so fun! It was a great way to see the beauty of kauai, especially because many of the roads and parks are still closed to cars after the hurricane.

Our private doors-off helicopter tour with Aliʻi Air Tours was easily one of the highlights of our time on Kauaʻi, and the entire experience was excellent from check-in through landing. Kendra handled our check-in, and everything was prompt, organized, and easy to understand. She gave us some great advice about what to wear for a doors-off flight and made sure we understood the safety requirements before heading out to the helicopter. Our pilot, Will, was outstanding. Before takeoff, he thoroughly walked us through the aircraft, safety procedures, what to expect once we were in the air, and the itinerary for the flight. In the air, he struck exactly the right balance—very professional and knowledgeable, but also relaxed and conversational. It never felt like he was simply reciting the standard tourist-guide script. Our visit came shortly after Hurricane Lowell, so some of the tour naturally included discussion of the storm damage and what Kauaʻi and its residents had been through. I especially appreciated the way Will handled that part of the flight. He discussed what we were seeing with genuine empathy and respect, rather than treating the damage as another sightseeing attraction. That attitude carried through the entire Aliʻi team. Everyone repeatedly thanked us for coming to Kauaʻi and supporting local businesses during the island's recovery. Considering everything they had recently experienced, their hospitality and enthusiasm were remarkable. And, of course, seeing Kauaʻi from a doors-off helicopter is spectacular. The scenery is incredible, but having a great crew makes the experience that much better. I couldn't recommend Aliʻi Air Tours more highly. Kendra and Will were fantastic, everything ran smoothly, and we would absolutely fly with them again on a future trip to Kauaʻi. 🚁🌺

We had an amazing time flying over Kauai. We decided to fly with doors on. This did not affect the breathtaking views of the island. Auntie Mae greeted us with such warmth. She went through the safety protocols thoroughly. Clay piloted us over Kauai pointing out all the highlights and their history, he was very knowledgeable. Best way to see the island. Our pilot, Clay was well trained and knowledgeable. We went at 9:45am and based off weather conditions the day of our flight we saw circular rainbows. A lifelong memory here in Kauai

This excursion was fantastic! I took the 1 hr doors off heli tour. Clay was my pilot. I did the excursion solo but it can accommodate up to 3 people. For solo trip you do have to pay for 2 seats — I think it was well worth it. The views were amazing — from the canyons (including Weimea Canyon) to the Napali Coast. Lots of waterfalls. The pilot gives you history about many of the sights. I cannot recommend highly enough!!

This is a MUST for Kaua'i! The ge Round staff (shout out to Auntie Mei, you are fantastic!) and the pilots (thank you Reid!) are really great There are so many rich textures and details and stories/history of the island, and they did a great job of making it safe and comfortable and fun...the flying was so smooth, and the route and explanations were really something. Without doubt it was a crown jewel of our honeymoon. One of the most unforgettable things I have ever experienced...the best way to truly experience the unique landscape and stunning views. It also serves as a fantastic way to "whet your appetite" for going around the island on foot and by car. This experience will enrich you!
