Sabrina was our tour guide. This tour was so informative We learned so much about Kauai and was amazed at all of the films that were filmed here. Would highly recommend.

The Mapquest directions on your website are wrong and we were late. Our guide was kind enough to wait for us.
Jonna was great! She shared history with personal family stories. We were given enough time to take pictures and videos at every stop.
My husband and I loved this tour! I asked my husband what did you enjoy the most on this tour and he said, “Everything.” Kanae was a beautiful ambassador to Kauai aloha spirit! Her knowledge, concern for your comfort , and amazing aloha spirit made our last tour of our trip the most memorable. When we come back we will definitely take this tour again! This tour gave us the opportunity to see the north side of the island. Amazing, beautiful stops and such knowledge by Kanae about her beautiful island will always be a part of our memories of our trip to Kauai.
Vanessa and I had a wonderful experience. This was Vanessa's first time in Hawaii. We spent our first full day on the beach. Our tour guide did an excellent job making first day of actually seeing the island very memorable. Her knowledge of the island, and the ability to relay that information was a winning combination.
We made these reservations in February for mid-april. It was supposed to be the highlight of our kawaii experience. My husband chose it. He was just diagnosed with kidney cancer days before we arrived. It was a 4800 mile trip. The day before the cruise, the driver said he was sick. And the event was canceled. I can't believe that there was no back up driver. Their next opening g was after we were to leave. I find this irresponsible.
The tour was nice but disappointing as well. The description of this tour advertises going by the beach where the Gilligan's Island pilot was filmed, and we did no such thing. We did see several other wonderful spots, but I was looking forward to seeing the beach We're Gilligan's Island was after watching the show for so many years. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgeable, and a little too nice actually. After lunch the entire van got punished by a couple who was about 30 minutes late getting back to the van. Another couple on the van had to catch a plane flight and yet the tour guide didn't care. She made all of us wait. I can see waiting 10 minutes, but not 30 for people to return. That's wrong. Especially, when you have other customers telling you that they have to catch a flight. I recommend this tour, but just be aware that other customers may not be as considerate as you, and you may pay the price.
We were on the cruise ship docked on time, but unfortunately the tour didn’t leave as scheduled. We’re not sure whether the delay was due to the ship or the bus company, but we departed nearly an hour late. Because of this, the whole trip felt very rushed. We were told that there is normally around 45 minutes for the lunch stop, but we only had about 30 minutes. Most of the people on the tour were really looking forward to seeing Jurassic Park. We actually passed it on the road, which was very disappointing. It would have been nice if some effort had been made to stop and spend at least a short time there. When we booked, we were told we would return at 3:30pm. However, it felt like the guide was in a rush to get us back to the ship, and we arrived back at 2:45pm. This really reduced the time we had to properly enjoy the tour. That said, Rick the tour guide was very funny and gave us plenty of laughs, which we did appreciate. Very enjoyable even if a little rushed Rick made it
The bus tour was just maybe not for us. We are pretty active and had a rental car and could’ve gone to these places on our own. If you prefer someone else taking you places, don’t have a rental car and are less mobile this tour is good.
1Very informative, many stories and enough stops that your not riding the bus for long periods. Jonna was a great guide.
Kaleo gave the best tour I've ever been on. Very informative, very knowledgeable, very nice and a great sense of humor.
Huge list of movies filmed here, but modt were very old. Nice feature was the movie clips to jog memory. Not much to see, though…
Excellent way to see the island...behind the tourist attractions...unique way to the hidden gems....
Great you with lots of interesting info shared by a local with a great sense of humor! Nice tour of Kauai!
Awesome tour. Got to see film clips as we saw where the movies were filmed. Seeing the video clips really gives that extra touch. Our driver and Tour, Sabrina was very professional, sweet, excellent driver, and an awesome tour guide. She really made sure we all had fun and had a great time. If you wanna see beautiful scenery and learn a few things about some movies while meeting new friends, look no further. This is the tour for you.
Amazing experience. Sabrina was an awesome tour guide. Kauai is a beautiful island and well worth the visit. Polynesian adventures does it right!
Great tour. The guide, Jona was excellent and very nice and informative. She was very familiar with the movie location s and had great stories to tell.
We were picked up and dropped off right in front of our hotel. So convenient! Our guide and driver talked to us about some of the things we were seeing outside the small bus as he picked up other tour participants. But when we were all loaded, the real movie conversations got started. We got to see where many different movies scenes were set on Kauai. Not only that, there monitors throughout the bus where movie clips were shown as we went from one site to the next and we could see the scenes outside the bus and in the movie clips being shown. It just made it more real! Saw some stars Hawaiian homes also, so a little bonus there. The guide was personable and funny. And my sister and I ate lunch where some of the scenes in The Descendants were shot. Very enjoyable tour.
Fun and informative. Our guide was great. Would recommend this tour. We learned a lot of information.
Great for an activity levels. There were a few times where you needed to exit and enter the bus but the extra step made it easy.
Rosario was an informative tour guide and he made sure to take us to the best places for pictures. I loved that we got to sit down at a restaurant for lunch. The buses are the best I have seen on any tour.
Had a great time! We liked our guide Sabrina and the overall tour! We went to multiple sites that was on our must-see list. Favorite spots were the chocolate tasting and Hanalei. The only drawback is that the movie clips were a bit dated. It’s a generation gap since my kids did not know most of the movies, except Jurassic park and Hobbs and Shaw. I loved all the South Pacific clips! 😃
It was well done. However, I would prefer a smaller vehicle such as an SUV and have the company get closer access to places This tour guide was great- Sabrina- I enjoyed the film clips while the van was moving. I didn’t feel it was enough for a tour of “drive by”. It needs more interaction and physical on the ground exposure
It was a really fun experience We learned a lot about Kauai and the driver was excellent. We really enjoyed our tour
This is a vwonderful way for a senior citizen to see and experience Kauai when on a short [3day] vacation. An expert driver/narrator allows the traveler to relax in comfort and view what may be missed while driving. The bus is very comfortable and air conditioned. The places visited are beautiful, interesting, and educational. Sabrina was an excellent driver as well as being very knowledgeable about the island, it's history and folklore, and very caring and concerned for her riders.Well worth the cost!
We got to see so many amazing sights. Our tour guide, Kaleo, was so knowledgeable. He showed us movie clips and gave us historical information and then showed us the exact site where the movies were filmed. He had a great sense of humor and made the tour really fun. We were dropped off at a great area for lunch with lots of shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this tour. As a bonus, we received a map and list of all the movies filmed on Kauai so we could check them off as we saw them on the tour. Plus we got snacks!!!
Very nice overall trip. The riverboat tour was pleasant but shorter than I expected and the time in the grotto was brief. It was a bummer that the we missed the main lookout spots for Waimea Canyon due to maintenance. The trip to the Kauai Coffee company was a good strategic move since many of us seemed very tired and worn out before that stop. Thanks for the tour.
Paleo was outstanding! Super informative and very hospitable & entertaining! Would recommend this tour, WITH Kaleo, 100%. Super knowledgeable and everyone had a great time! Give that man a raise! 🤙🏽
Took tour while in port on cruise Pride of America. Picked us up right across the street 5-10 minute walk from boat. Saw all the sights we wanted to see, plus a chocolate tasting and hour in surfing town Hanalei Bay to shop and eat. 7:30am - 3:00pm Our tour guide was so fun and knowledgeable about everything!
We had Larry for a driver. His English was excellent. Very easy to understand. Not like some of the other drivers that we've had. Very knowledgeable and friendly and he's patient with everybody. I give him a five stars. One couple was late coming back and he was patient. My wife and I both enjoy him very much
Our driver was awesome, very knowledgeable and kind! Never awkward silence. He was great and you can talk he loves his land!
It was an enjoyable experience, touring from south to north of the island, explored movie filming site. The journey was a long hours tour, very worthy tour. Reasonable price. The tour ladies and driver were very professional and friendly.
This tour was overall very good, I’d give it a 4.5. The guide and driver were both friendly and knowledgeable. They showed movie clips featuring the sites we were seeing. The integration of local history and culture was an unexpected plus. The only reason I took off one star is the hotel pick up. We had to drive an hour to be picked up at another resort. Several of group had the same experience. Another couple was staying at the resort right next to us and that’s two parties they could have picked up without us driving so far. That being said, I do still recommend this tour as it was relaxing and enjoyable.
Great overview of the entire island. Eathon was fantastic. We even saw sea turtles by the spouting horn. Tons of great views and photos. Just enough time too for a nice lunch.
The Kaua'i tour covered a lot of ground and amazing sites. The fern grotto portion was an amazing walk-through a rainforest environment, but it was a secure path and frankly not a very long walk. We enjoyed it very much. The river boat tour was especially surprising because they had live entertainment on ukuleles and doing hula. The most spectacular was the Waimea Canyon, which is really beyond description! Topping and off with a visit to a coffee plantation and getting a little bit of ice cream was also amazing. The tour guide was gracious and informative, Enter descriptions, made a very enjoyable day
Overall, I enjoyed this tour. The only reason I have it 4 stars was the lengthy stop at the lodge for lunch. It was early, and food was over priced. But we stopped later at a small village area where there was great food choices. Small LILO and stitch town was cool. Pretty cute. Blow hole time was good, pictures don’t do it justice no, video with sound is the way to go. Canyon was amazing! The colors are jaw dropping. My wife liked it better than the Grand Canyon. Driver told some good stories and kept us entertained. Coffee plantation was a plus on this tour as well. You can do the tour on your own if you rent a car, but it is nice if your didn’t, but you may need to Uber to get to meet the shuttle. The pick up process for everyone was a bit painful as well.
It is very informative formative and Kay was Greatl A lot of fun history of Kauai and movie facts and places.
K has a great sense of humor and taught us a lot about Hawaiian culture and the people of Kauai. In addition to the scenic stops, the great lunch stop, the chocolate tasting, she had funny stories and was very engaging with everyone. I highly recommend.
Top tier tour experience. Our tour guide, Miss K, was very knowledgeable, thoughtful, entertaining and courteous. We enjoyed every minute. We were also very grateful for the water and cookies!
A totally fun experience: Beautiful scenery, fascinating commentary, fabulous chocolate tasting, and so much movie stuff. Loved the many stops, views. Plenty of time to eat, drink, shop and explore.
Jeff and I enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide was knowledgeable about the island of Kauai and the places he took us to see for this tour. There was enough time spent in each spot to explore and take many pictures. Thank you!
Very informative and interesting highlights about Kauai. Transportation is comfortable. Driver/tour guide (Ms. K ) is safe driver and very passionate tour guide. She speaks from her heart and you can tell that she knows a lot about the island.
Our tour was amazing. Ms.K was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable and made us feel like family. We saw a lot of the island and learned a lot about the history. I would highly recommend this tour. She also showed us some celebrity properties along the tour which was a pleasant surprise!
Exceptional tour with extras of movie locations, film clips, stories and quizzes. Also island lure and advice along the way to each backdrop. Also patience and care for situations and problems. The usual island music and also music videos filmed here.
Great day with Jonna as our driver and guide. We visited the most wonderful places on earth which we would not have been able to do without her expertise and knowledge of Kauai. Jonna is a beautiful lady to have working for your company. Many mahalo Martin and Donna UK A hui hou
The trip was amazing! Our tour guide Kaleo was so knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the entire trip! We learned a lot about the island and all the different sites that we visited. He was also very personable and related well with everyone. The views were breathtaking! This is a must do trip while you are here!
Our guide Kaleo was awesome! Very informative and fun. Bus was comfortable. Everything we saw and did was great. Highly recommend this as a way to see lots of Kauai with no stress.
Kana'e was our driver and she was outstanding! There was a hiccup on the tour but she handled it like a true professional. I would definitely do this tour again when we return to Kaua'i. Tour is well organized and her narration was on point giving historical facts that talked about every stop we made along the way.
Great knowledge and information about the island, movies, and actors that have places on the island. Tour guide was great. Would go again.
Our Viator guide was an amazing young woman ! She knew the history of the island of Kauai from ancient times to present. She pointed out the dozens of properties owned by famous Americans and had a story to tell about each. We saw waterfalls, movie settings, and chickens…lots and lots of chickens. We enjoyed the videos accompanying the film locations. An excursion worth taking.
