Fuv Self Guided Island Adventure Tour

We arrived to find that it was not a car for three with seats side by side in the front as pictured and described. Seats were one behind the other making sharing and communicating difficult. You also are given a prescribed route choice and are limited where you can sight see. The canyon is not an option. We were not advised of this ahead of time. We ended up returning the FVU early and renting a uber to see the other sites we wanted to see. Very expensive day. FVU was not bad but not great to see whole island at twice the price of rental car.

This was the absolute best way to see kuaiai! The FUV's were easy to drive, and had a good amount of storage for all of your extras. There was thorough instructions to start you off and they give you a choice of maps to follow. It was great to see the island at our leisure, stop at beaches, shops, and waterfalls. The only downfall was that i wish we had more time! 😊😊 you wont be disappointed if you do this!

We always wanted to try out an Arcimoto. There couldn’t have been a better opportunity. The vehicles were clean and in great shape. TJ (vendors employee) did a wonderful job explaining everything from operating the vehicles, GPS instructions for self guided tour, and answering all of our questions about the island. We respected TJ telling us that the south side of the island still had a ways to go with road work etc. after the storm. Per his recommendation we did the east side. It was wonderful. Waterfalls, beautiful beaches, views of extinct volcanoes, shopping, and many restaurants to choose from. We had lunch in the market place with friends who live on the Island. It was a perfect day! We look forward to doing the FUV excursion again in the future when the south side recovers.

We booked this with 2 other couples. We had a great time. We used what they recommended for our tour. The men had fun driving the FUV.

The experience was amazing. We got to see a lot and I was able to go around with my beautiful wife and best friend. I would recommend this to anyone to do at least once. It was beyond easy to use and fun to drive!

Do not hesitate to experience this adventure. The FUV is very safe and easy to operate — even for a disabled senior citizen like me. TJ (the owner) is a great guy. My sister and I loved it so much we booked for two days. One to the east and one to the south. Fantastic memories were made.

So much fun and a great experience! Upon arrival we received amazing instructions and a detailed itinerary of places to visit! So fun to explore the islands in these! Worth every penny!

While it was fun to drive the FUV, it was 3X the cost of a rental car and for only 4 hours. If you like the open air motorcycle vibe, this may for you, but honestly, we could have seen more of the island in a rental car. I also have to say that the self guided app was problematic. It was probably user error, but once we missed a waypoint, we couldn't figure out how to get back on track. We used Waze at that point for the rest of the tour. Lastly, if you take the south tour to the waterfall in Kaui, be aware that there is a $5/ person park fee and a $10 parking fee. We could see the waterfall from the parking lot and decided it wasn't worth the fees. The tour operator should make its patrons aware of these costs before embarking on the tour.

My wife and I aren’t much for shopping or swimming, but put us on an FUV and we’re having a blast instantly!! The FUV is simple to operate and the instructor does a good job making sure you understand. After a quick couple laps we were off to see the beautiful island. Following the guide is basic and the stops breathtaking. Although we didn’t stop to shop at any of the cool local stores or swim the beautiful beaches, my wife and I had the best time…. In fact I’d say it was the most fun of all of the activities we’ve done on the island!

A very different and fun way to tour parts of the island. The FUV is an exciting ride and very unique. The tour operator TJ does a great job in preparing you with easy operation instructions and digital directions with tour highlights. One of the best excursions on our trip. We highly recommend this experience.

No power steering but very manageable. Bring a charger for phone as you’ll be using map navigation. Seats aren’t the most comfortable but fine for four hours. The east route has too many beach stops.

It was so nice to ride around the island. Saw cliffs, sea turtles and waterfalls. Pickup was a super short and cheap ride to the pick-up place. Everything was explained easily.

We had an absolute blast riding the FUV 3-wheeler around Kauai! It was such a unique and fun way to explore the island, and the vehicle was easy to drive and definitely turned heads everywhere we went. Our only suggestion is that the rental time could be a little longer. We felt like we were always watching the clock and didn’t have enough time to stop, explore, shop, or enjoy the destinations along the way. A longer ride option would make the experience even better. Overall, we highly recommend it—it was one of the highlights of our trip! 🌺🌴

Renting the FUV was one of the highlights of our trip! It was such a unique and fun way to explore the island. The vehicles were easy to drive, well-maintained, and made sightseeing so much more exciting than a regular rental car. We loved being able to enjoy the fresh air, stop whenever we wanted for photos, and easily find parking at all the beautiful spots. TJ was friendly, gave clear instructions, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. He provides easy routes you can use to explore different parts of the island. If you're looking for a memorable adventure and a different way to experience the island, I highly recommend renting a FUV—you won't regret it!

We had a blast. The owner was great. We tried to book with the QR code at the location the night before but it wasn't working so we had to book 3rd party..found out that cost us $100 more for both couples...not happy about that.

Fun day! Would go again ! Only thing that I would change is to be side by side instead of behind my husband. 😊

FUV’s we are lots of fun! They are well-maintained so we had no issues while riding around the island.

It's a great way to see the beautiful island of Kauai a bit intimidating at first but TJ gave us great instruction on how to operate the FTV you will be driving on the main roads to your stops, but people are very courteous on the road, it was a blast we enjoyed making stops to local shops and beach we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai.

Absolute blast and fantastic way to see the island. Loved the instructions they gave so we could not stress about that and actually enjoy the drive. It has a compartment for your thing and plug in for navigation and to play your music as you zip around town.

The FUV's were a fun way to tour Kaua'i. We chose the south shore tour and enjoyed fantastic views and great beaches. They were easy to drive and the instructions given were thorough and very helpful. Highly recommend for a different way to tour the island.

SO MUCH FUN! Best way to explore Kauai. We had the best day of our entire trip on the FUV’s. The itinerary was great and easy to follow with Google Maps.

The experience was fun and the owner operator was friendly and knowledgeable. The advertisement that pickup is available is misleading. We had to pay for our Uber to get to the site of the vehicle.

If you haven’t cruised around in a FUV you are missing out. This is a once in a lifetime experience. They are easy to operate and fun to drive. It’s a unique and different way of seeing the island. We explored areas just wouldn’t be able to see unless we rented a car for the whole vacation. You can do what you want during your time. We saw some turtles, shopped, got amazing coffee, and more. I highly recommend checking this out if you are on Kauai. I highly recommend. TJ the owner is great. Explains everything clearly and thoughtfully. The FUV is easy to master in just a few laps of the parking lot. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

This is a must do on the Island. We had such a great time and easy to get around the island on the FUVs.

It was great to be able to see all the sights on our own. We took our time and seen everything we wanted to.

Everest, I was a little leery about doing this excursion because of my size. However, once I got to the place, the gentleman was very kind and he even helped me get myself strapped in. Very organized excursion. This excursion cost me half the price that in NCL was offering. We were able to enjoy Maui at her own pace. The gentleman was who helped us was very organized and Informative with the directions and information about the island. The self guided GPS tour easy to use. We thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and recommend it for anyone looking for something different. We would do this excursion again as frankly, we had a blast riding in these around Kauai Giving us a movie star status.

Super fun experience, but the directions were garbage. We just used our phone to navigate from point to point. Very pricey for 4 hours. You can rent a full size vehicle for the same price for 3 days.

This was a new experience for us...driving around the island in an FUV plus stopping at recommended beaches and attractions with the benefit of being on our own time schedule! It takes a little bit to get comfortable operating the FUV but quickly you catch on. The itineraries you can choose from offer you great opportunities to see Kauai.

Was perfect for traveling with elderly who don’t get around well. The vehicles definitely go fast enough to keep up with traffic. It does not have power steering so it is hard to steer if stopped or going slow. The owner is very informative and has the routes planned out very well.

It was exciting and self guided with suggestions. Fun for the whole family. I would stretch it out further for those who want to adventure out. All in all it was awesome.

TJ was the best. He was extremely knowledgeable, had everything organized on Google Maps and an informational PDF. The vehicle was easy to drive and great to get around in.

A great and fun experience riding the FUV. Intermittent rain couldn't stop us. We saw some great sites and had a fantastic time.

This is so much fun. Such a fun way to explore the island. This was my favorite excursion on our entire trip. Our four hours did not start until we were comfortable driving the FUV and took off.

Top notch company that offers a unique service! We had a great time exploring the island on this FUV. Instructions were very thorough, received timely communication, and the time the owner has invested in creating routes with links is very impressive. Great fun!
