Spa Resort Sanssouci

I dont know where to start. The hotel is expensive compared to what it offers, which is nothing. It is a post communist building left without renovation since 50 year. It looks more like a hospital building then a hotel. The floors are depressive, food area is like in a cheap kantine, with tables arrange one beside the other. Food taste awful very cheap ingredients, we had stomach piain from it. Spa area is partly closed partly never been renewed, with unfriendly stuff, who is shouting with you if they dont like smtg. Parking is extra to pay. Nothing looks like as the pictures advertised. Stay away from this place, save ur money and nerves. U cannot relax in this place, we left 2 days earlier. The locker smells like an 10 elephants would have died there.

i came to europe as a tourist from dubai and i wanted to experience the spa resort, after driving for 4 hours from one city to another with 4 kids i reach the hotel and they don’t allow me to use the bathroom!, after i said it was a bad experience the staff yells “it’s europe what do u expect” honestly discusting my kids couldn’t use the bathroom and i cancelled the booking. not recommended.

The location is great but the hotel is dated and in need of some refurbishment. The spa section is tiny (especially that it serves 3 building's wort of guests) and time limited as it is typically available only after 2pm. As an example the "steam room" fits 4 people max. The staff doesn't speak English (they offered German or Russian so if you speak either you are in luck) and food is not labeled so beware if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. In general this is an old fashioned hotel not a "spa resort", I think the name and some pictures are misleading customers.

The price is super attractive, taking into account that included procedures. The rooms and sanatorium in general are clean and you have all you need. But the service is horrible. The communication is hard on every step. It's absolutely soviet union service approach and you feel that people who work there openly don't really like you. The food is super easy and as for men - it might be a bit problematic to feel that they are actually full. Can recommend it only if you have tight budget and can relax and enjoy procedures and nature despite the bad communication and not tasty food.
