Great food, attentive service, I can recommend it to everyone.
A very quiet, clean, and peaceful hotel, dog-friendly (300 CZK/night per dog) with a large LCD TV and a refrigerator (well-cooled) in the room. Room 306 has a long and rather narrow balcony, but two chairs fit on it, allowing for a pleasant evening. Four parking spaces are directly in front of the hotel entrance, and we managed to park there. Parking costs 300 CZK/night. Comfortable beds. Hot (even hot) water almost immediately after turning on the tap. A very friendly receptionist who speaks fluent English and German. The hotel is about 300 meters from the Singing Fountain and the Maxim Gorky Colonnade, right next to a park. A buffet breakfast included delicious cheeses, pâté, and cold cuts, and a selection of breads, including toast. Coffee was made from an espresso machine and milk was provided on the table. The buffet included fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.) and fruit. Warm sausages and fried eggs.
WiFi didn't reach my room on the second floor so I was without internet for 5 days. The water in the pool was beautifully warm. Unfortunately, right next to my room, the cleaning ladies were meeting for a chat so they regularly woke me up at 6 and 7 in the morning. The view from the window onto a busy street where a demolished house is located doesn't add to the charm either. They have excellent dinner. The staff who was there on the third day of my stay was very pleasant, I praise them. The cleaning lady wasn't able to bring me a broom on the third day of my stay either, I had to leave her a message here. Not to mention changing towels. I probably won't be coming back again.
Delicious, unpretentious lunch - excellent schnitzel & vepřové pečené (roast pork & dumplings).
