I found this great accommodation for me and my dog travelling round Europe. The photos on the site looked good and the accommodation did not fail to disappoint. The reception is not staffed full time but the staff present for check in and check out were friendly and welcoming. The place was nicely designed in a period building, and the room was nicely designed and well-appointed perfect for a longer stay. One minor downside for me was that I could hear people in the stairway very loudly from the bedroom which was disturbing. The reviews said the walk up to the place was steep but no steeper than most other streets in the town and it’s only a few minutes from a secure multi storey parking place and to the main historic shopping street. Lovely place, great stay, would stay again.

Really liked this hotel - big rooms, high ceilings, quiet, and with a kitchenette. But there is no parking at the hotel so you need to use a parking garage which is $20 euros per day. As long as you can do some hill walking I recommend this hotel.
Ferdinandhof Apart-Hotel offers a fantastic experience with its good location, inviting entrance, and convenient amenities. The presence of a lift adds to accessibility, and the cleanliness of both the apartment and bathroom is commendable. The kitchen have a dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. Overall, a comfortable and satisfying stay.
Beautiful apartments, Appalling service! The rooms have been designed and built with a lot of care with real quality materials. I would have loved to meet the man that built the place as it has a real sense of style. Unfortunately people operating it are sad & arrogant people that don't have much by way of customer service skills, starting with a very grumpy concierge that was more concerned about his city tax, not realising we paid 20 times more a day for the room already 🤣 The man needs to learn how to smile as a start, else go back to construction or laundry services. He was not at the desk in the morning at check out so we couldn't advise any of the issues. This can't be called a 4 star hotel as the offered services are lacking - no breakfast, no 18 or 24 hour concierge, rooms are large but not king sized (the choice of bedding here is unusual, we were given two single blankets on each bed instead of a single large cover - unusual). I think that it is a 3 star at best, with room to become more with a change in service offerings. The rooms provide a kitchenette in them. They have a few items basic items, however were missing key items like spatulas, a working exhaust, the tea box was empty(ive seen better in Motels), etc The air conditioning systems in the room wouldn't come on so there was no heating in the bedroom. Much more will be added to my other report.
Very nice hotel in the centre of Karlsbad with spacious rooms and stylish interiors well maintained and clean. Friendly reception. You have your own small kitchen and wifi is working well. Guests should be physically fit to walk around 150 meter uphill from the city centre.
