My boyfriend and I did the excursion from Kandy to Ella, including the scenic train ride and all the amazing activities along the way. Kavi, our guide, was truly special! He took us to see all the most beautiful attractions and made the whole experience even more enjoyable and unforgettable. It was definitely a day to remember. I highly recommend this excursion, and I truly hope you are lucky enough to have Kavi as your guide too! He is an exceptional person, kind, helpful, and passionate about his work. Thank you so much for everything, Kavi! ❤️

The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the ‘Bridge in the Sky’ was constructed by connecting two bog mountains when constructing the Badulla – Colombo railway. This bridge is 300 feet in length, 25 feet in width and 80-100 feet in height. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The Bridge can be reached by travelling 2km on Gotuwala road starting from Halpe Textile centre in Badulla Bandarawela road. The surrounding area has seen a steady increase in tourism due to the bridge’s architectural ingenuity and the profuse greenery in the nearby hillsides.
The Demodara Loop is a spiral railway loop in Demodara and is a piece of cutting-edge civil engineering. The railway line runs underneath itself, snakes around the mountain and appears from a tunnel which is below the Demodara Railway Station; this railway line is said to be the only one of its kind in the world.
The beginning of the path goes through beautiful lush green tea plantations full of tea picking ladies And Breathtaking Views all the way up to the Top. The trip was very enjoyable. We packed in several activities and had a very informative and helpful guide.
The Little Bus was an Oldtimer There are much better and much cheaper Cars with Drivers available umbrella was there but broken The Tour Guide tried his best …… I can Not recomend this tour
We had a enjoyable and comfortable day trip. Timely picked up from our hotel. Our guide/driver Lal Kumarage took excellent care of us. He went out of his way to make sure we see things which were not even part of the itinerary. Lovely human being and we will always be grateful to him. Kajal, Niraj and Ishan from UK
Our guide, Lal, has been absolutely perfect. On time, available and always happy to help and explain the surroundings. Very much suggested!
Drivers were fantastic given the traffic and weather conditions. The locations visited did not require entry fees so not sure how it’s an inclusion. No WIFI or water was provided and we had to pay $30 extra for a tuk tuk to the bridge because the van couldn’t go past a certain point. Ella and the other locations were beautiful but this is just a transport service and probably would be better off booking a driver opposed to this day tour.
This tour came about because we had a Kandy to Ella train booked and it was cancelled at the last minute. The company agent worked really hard late at night to sort us out for the following morning. The trip was modified to accommodate our needs and the price adjusted accordingly. That’s pretty good service by anyone’s book and shows that this firm won’t leave you in the lurch.
This is a highly recommended trip to learn about the best teas in Sri Lanka, the most beautiful mountain views, and the interesting towns and delicacies along the way. My guide, Mr. Randika, is very good. He is very professional and arranges the schedule of the day very reasonably. Before the heavy rain, he showed me all the scenic spots that needed to be hiked. His driving skill was so good that he took me through the fog and sent me back to the hotel safely. He is very familiar with the scenic spots along the way and stops at every place worth taking pictures.
Drive from Kandy to Little England the highlight - really beautiful. Also enjoyed the drive to Ella and visiting Nine Arch Bridge but heavy rain unfortunately ( fun to experience monsoon but not so good for sightseeing). Everything well organised and felt safe and well looked after. Longish day but well worth it
We had an amazing day in Nuwara Eliya and Ella with Kushan! He is very warm, friendly and accommodating guide! We highly recommend him!
The tour went well and the view was breath-taking! It was totally all worth it and the driver was nice as well. Had a lot of fun!
The trip is amazing to do but choose a different agent to book ! I open chat to get more information and offered a link to make the payment ! After the payment completed I realise they booked us for next day and when get in touch to change it they replied that there is no trip the following days which is not true as this trip is private ! Also refuse to make a refund due to their policy ( that why was booked next day) . They say there is Wi-Fi on board and that is not true ! They say all admission is fee but there is nothing to pay as all the place on this trip are free entrance ! When we arrived to the bridge which is the best attraction on this trip , the driver asked us 3,000 extra to pay tuck tuck transfer as the taxi can’t enter close to the bridge ! On our return we want eat at local buffet restaurant because they serve local food and not expensive but the driver choose a restaurant on his choose after checking the menu , we didn’t like what they offer , so we refuse to eat there . The driver was very upset and starts driving so fast in anger way!
The drive from Kandy to Ella and back took us through the gorgeous, misty heights of Nuwara Eliya and the fun town of Ella. The Nine- Arch bridge is really impressive, the tea factory and waterfall were a great experience. We had the best driver in Randike: so careful, and knew all the best places to eat and take photos too. Thank you!
Kandy to Ella with stops at Falls, Tea factory, Gregory Lake and Nine Arches Bridge. Our driver, Hathi, was so knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. Having the right tour operator and driver makes all of the difference
On 17-3-24, we had our nuwara Elia, Ella and little Adams peak, etc. trip. The guide-cum-driver was Kushan. He is an intelligent, jovial and fraternal guy and explained the sightseeing views excellently and in such a manner as if we were friends for long. Really Mr. Kushan is an asset to your organization. I wish him success in life. Thanx.
The tour was good created, there was a time for having a chill and also to see all the touch points. The guide was amazing! Thank you Nabil!!
The guide, Kavindo, was wonderful and entertained us while smoothly guiding us from Candy to Ella! The tea train that I couldn't buy on the official website, I finally made it happen with a ticket. We were able to have various conversations in the car, and they taught me a lot of trivia about Sri Lanka. Since there are few tours that can accommodate the long drive from/to Candy, I highly recommend it! I got carsick on the way home, but it was kind of you to buy me a drink, thank you very much.
Unfortunately, this tour was a huge disappointment and by no means what was promised on the website. For €235.65 we expected a comprehensive day tour with several stops and sights – instead we were only driven from Kandy to Ella, only a tea factory we saw. At our request at the end of the trip, whether we would at least visit the Nine Arches Bridge, we were advised to do so at our own expense the next day with a tuk-tuk. Only after urging, because this was supposed to be included in the tour, we were organized a tuk-tuk. For what was ultimately offered, we could have just taken a taxi for a fraction of the price. This tour was absolutely not worth their money and I cannot recommend it.
Der Fahrer war super nett und hat eine einmalige Tour erstellt! Ich kann ich nur weiter empfehlen, war zu 100% zufrieden.
