Yalegoda Walawwa is situated in a breathtaking setting, surrounded by lush greenery. It's perfect for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere. Yet it's close enough to local attractions. The hosts, Shyamali and Nihal, were incredibly kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated the delicious home-cooked meals. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. This place is an excellent value for money. We absolutely recommend "Yalegoda Walawwwa" for anybody. Shyamali and Nihal, your warm hospitality is greatly appreciated.

Literally the best stay ever. ⭐️ The people are SO nice, they help with everything, they provide so much and the house is incredible. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature and it has an amazing story. If you want to stay in a beautiful place, with the best breakfast EVER and relax, THIS IS IT.

We checked in at Yalegoda Walauwa on a whim for an overnight stay and found we had come home. Nihal and Shyamali turned out to be very friendly and their hospitality was great. The triple room with linen and amenities was exceptional. We asked for home style food and got it. Lovely neat garden in fullbloom and so quiet, a sort of a hideaway. This homely couple treated us as long lost friends. Recommend to anyone who loves serenity. A thank you to their support staff too. Hug the 2 dogs for us! It was hard to leave but will go back to see our new friends! You too do that!!!

This gem of a place with an immaculate garden is run by a kind couple who makes you feel right at home. The food is amazing and the two dogs adds character. Checked in for a night and ended up staying 3 nights. Perfect for visiting the Gardens and Embekke Devale.
