The Radh Hotel

Rooms are amazing, spacious and SO very comfortable. Had absolutely nothing to worry about. Bathrooms are beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Location is perfect if you’re visiting the Temple as it’s right next door and is an easy walk. Now the food. The FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. Very extensive menu and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to try the caramel pudding.

We booked our seats to view the Perahera right outside the Radh Hotel in Kandy. They had set up a grandstand so that everyone had a clear and unobstructed view. It was amazing and I will recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. Dinner included soup, salad, fresh bread and a choice for the main meal (we had the delicious fish and chips). The helpful staff served us dessert outside as we were running late. From the beginning, Domanie was extremely helpful to us and treated us like royalty! Thank you to everyone for an awesome Perahera experience.

We had a lovely stay at the Radh - the staff were extremely attentive and lovely and the location was unbeatable. The hotel itself is located within a stones throw of the beautiful Kandy Lake, the Temple of the sacred tooth, the Kele forest sanctuary and the hustle and bustle of Kandy itself - you can literally walk to everything from this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in a plunge pool suite which was both comfortable and quaint - with an old colonial look and feel. A plunge in the pool after a hot day exploring Kandy was very refreshing. Breakfast was included daily, which was a mixture of Sri Lankan and European dishes and the freshly made to order omelettes were a great way to start the day - all in all a very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend. As a family of three, we stayed at The Radh Hotel for one night while traveling through Sri Lanka, and we truly enjoyed our experience. This beautiful boutique hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Kandy. Many of the city's main attractions are within walking distance, and you'll find plenty of charming cafés and excellent restaurants just around the corner. We stayed in a Premium Room, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, making it a wonderful place to relax. If you're looking to treat yourself to a little extra comfort and luxury during your Sri Lanka journey, The Radh Hotel is an excellent choice. A lovely touch was the premium Spa Ceylon amenities provided in the bathroom, which added to the feeling of quality and indulgence. The bathroom itself was modern, spacious, and equipped with everything you could need. What made our stay even more memorable was the outstanding hospitality. Every member of the team was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive—perfectly reflecting the incredible kindness that we have experienced throughout Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, we felt completely comfortable and well looked after. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend The Radh Hotel to anyone visiting Kandy. A well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars!
