Our stay at Niketh Villa Kandy was just perfect! We stayed there in March for one night during our Sri Lanka trip and enjoyed it very much! The owners are not only very kind people but also gave us a lot of recommendations and helped us with every question we had. The Villa is very clean, comfortable and furnished with great taste. We are very looking forward to visit their second place at the east coast. I can only recommend this place!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa, which is decorated with so much taste. The warm welcome from Sheema and her daughter Shahi made our experience even better – they are both very friendly and gave great recommendations. We had dinner on-site, and Sheema cooks the best Sri Lankan dishes! The room was extremely comfortable, very clean, and the bathroom was spacious. We absolutely loved our stay and felt right at home! Thank you for everything.
Sheema makes the best food ! We had dinner (all kinds of curry, sambal, dal, soup) and breakfast with her and it was very delicious ! The rooms are big and comfortable, modern, clean - very good 👍🏻 the bathrooms are huge! Hot water all the time. Would very much recommend this to everyone.
This place was one of the most beautiful properties I have visited. It felt like a Shangrala type oasis. The house is incredibly beautifully decorated, the decore and design is incredible! Inspired! The landscaping and upkeep was beautiful. I loved the refreshing pool and the landscaping. It is all very in keeping with nature and very tasteful done. We also added a surprise dinner for our hostess (owners mother). She was very welcoming; flexible and charming. It felt like you were visiting a family friend. The diner was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. She warned us it would be two hours to make but it was worth it. We mistakenly thought the breakfast was included but it was not and it was almost the same as the dinner price. I would go out for breakfast. You need to pay cash btw - machine is broken.
This beautiful Villa is located around 6 kms from the busy and noisy center of Kandy town (taking as point of reference the temple of Tooth Relic). The host Nigel and his wife live there too and this is surely a plus. They are very welcoming and ready to share useful information and tips about Kandy and the sorrounding area. The standard room where we stayed is spacious and very nicely decorated. Like the bathroom. Both a air-conditioner and a ceiling fan can work as allies in your fight against the warm temperatures. There is no TV and no safe but none of these seems actually a real issue, maybe a mini-fridge should be useful. Common spaces/areas are amazing too. In my opinion, this property has a lot of potential, not completely expressed yet (but it is only 4 months they are open). This is my "CONs list": - breakfast is pretty simple (some eggs and a plate of fresh fruit + coffee/tea or juice) and, above all, incredibly pricey (absolutely not worth 15,00 USD per person, neither in Sri Lanka nor anywhere else in the world). - some small details could improve the stay. Personally, I should place in the room an extra bin, a "glass" for toothbrushes, some disposable toiletries, a hairdryer, just to cite a few things - cleanliness is improvable. We found a layer of dust in the wardrobe and fingerprints on mirrors/glass doors.
