Mapakada Village

We had a wonderful stay at Mapakada Village, a truly beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature. The hotel is absolutely lovely, with a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service. It was the perfect place to escape from the busy routine and enjoy nature. A very special thank you to Rangana, the hotel’s naturalist, who made our experience even more memorable. He took us on a wonderful boat ride and showed us the beauty of the area while sharing his knowledge about nature and wildlife. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. He also captured some of the best photos and moments of our trip, which we will always cherish. 📸🌿 Thank you so much, Rangana, for making our experience so special! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed with their warm hospitality, professionalism, and outstanding service. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful nature with a peaceful view of Mapakada Lake. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the entire property had such a relaxing atmosphere. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality truly made our stay special and memorable. A perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and experience genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended! We had a wonderful time at Mapakada Village. Dinesh and team was very supportive and attanative all the time. Place is full of activities including boat rides, hike to Veheragala for sun rise, waterfalls tours, etc. We enjoyed a lot on sunrise tour to Veheragala mountain and it is highly recommend anyone who is planning to visit, even for the 👨‍👩‍👦 families with kids, 🧒 our kids were really enjoyed the activity. Naturalist team arranged a activity very well. Foods are really tasty specially the high tea arrangement with the boat tour is one of the unique experiences you can have it over hear. It was memorable stay at Mapakada Village and thank you very much Mapakada team, we will definitely come back 😍.

I recently stayed at this hotel again and was absolutely amazed by the transformation. My last visit was back in October 2021, and the upgrades that have been made since then are simply outstanding. The newly refurbished rooms are luxurious, modern, and beautifully designed. I was genuinely stunned when I saw them and immediately fell in love with the new look and feel of the hotel. The attention to detail is evident throughout, and it has elevated the entire guest experience. The food was excellent, with a great variety of options and consistently high quality. The hospitality from the team was equally impressive. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and eager to help. What stood out most was their flexibility and willingness to accommodate all of our requests, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable and scenic experience.
