Kings Ridge Kandy

Our stay at Kings Ridge was an average experience overall, with a few clear highlights alongside areas that could definitely use improvement. ​On the positive side, the staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. Knowing we were celebrating a special occasion, they kindly gave us a room upgrade, which was a lovely gesture that we genuinely appreciated. The food at the resort was also great, offering delicious meals that made dining on-site a pleasure. ​However, the rooms themselves felt quite dated and are in need of renovation. They lacked the cleanliness, crispness, and polish you would expect, which held the overall stay back from feeling like a true getaway. ​If you value friendly service and good food, Kings Ridge delivers, but the guest rooms could certainly benefit from an update and a deep refresh.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. It is truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special thanks to Mr. Nadir 🌷🌷 for his outstanding hospitality, and to the Hotel Manager, Mr. Jamel, for making sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Even the buffet staff 🌷🌷🌷 were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and talented. Everyone made me feel at home and provided excellent service from start to finish. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I will definitely come back again!

Great atmosphere for private parties! Today we handled the complete AV production, sound system, and DJ services for the 2019 Kandy nursing students' batch get‑together at this beautiful venue. The space is ideal for small private or corporate events of 20–30 guests. Delicious food and friendly staff — thanks to the team for the excellent catering. The venue’s vibe matched perfectly with our services and music. Highly recommended for intimate events in Kandy! 🙌

Stayed at King Ridge Hotel and it was totally worth the price paid. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made the stay very pleasant. Breakfast was simple, but considering the price, it was absolutely worth it. Nothing fancy, but satisfying. A special mention to the girl at the reception , she was very pleasant, helpful, and even agreed to change our room to one with a better view, which we really appreciated. That kind of service makes a big difference. Overall, a great budget-friendly option with good service and comfortable rooms. TIP: If you call a taxi, mention that the hotel is 150 meters after the viewpoint. Otherwise, drivers might get confused 😄 Would recommend for anyone looking for a good stay without overpaying 👍
