Earl's Regent Kandy

Our lasting memory of Earl’s Regent were the staff. Always polite, cheerful & accommodating. Special mention must go to Jayani, who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. We requested a room change due to a damp smell. This was immediately taken care of without any hassle. We were 1/2 board & enjoyed the variety of food we tried. The location requires you to take a taxi to get into Kandy. But on the plus side, it’s a beautiful place to watch a new day dawning.

The room was clean, modern, and comfortable with great room and pool side views. Interior and landscaping is incredible, great for photography. The breakfast buffet was really good. Staff was polite and efficient with excellent room service. Price is justified with what they're offering. Absolutely recommend it!

I would like to share my serious concerns regarding the accommodation and food facilities provided for drivers at Earl’s Hotel Kandy. The accommodation provided for drivers is very uncomfortable. Several drivers have to sleep together in the same hall, with no privacy at all. It is also difficult to keep personal belongings safely. There are cats and dogs around the area, and the cleanliness and hygiene conditions are not satisfactory. In addition, **drivers are charged separately for their meals, but the quality of the food provided is also not satisfactory.** Considering that drivers have to pay for the meals, the food should be provided at a much better standard. It is also very difficult to get proper rest or sleep. The lights remain on at night, and the doors cannot be properly closed because drivers arriving later need access to the room. As a result, getting proper sleep and rest is extremely difficult. Drivers are an important part of providing service to hotel guests. They should be given a clean, safe, comfortable and reasonably private place to rest. I hope the hotel management will seriously consider these issues and improve the facilities provided for drivers in the future. Drivers who come to Earl’s Hotel Kandy with guests deserve much better facilities and treatment.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the stay. The food was also delicious, fresh, and enjoyable, with a good variety of options. What I enjoyed most was the calm and relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great place to unwind, escape the busy routine, and simply enjoy some quality time. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing experience with good hospitality, great food, and a peaceful vibe. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay! 🌿✨
