Castle Palace Kandy

Our stay at Castle Palace Kandy was nothing short of exceptional. The location is superb, offering the absolute best view of the Victoria Reservoir. Waking up to that scenery was unforgettable.The property provides maximum privacy, making it feel like a peaceful, exclusive sanctuary. On top of the great atmosphere, the food was incredibly tasty, and the service was warm and friendly throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, scenic, and private getaway in Kandy (Theldeniya).

We had a wonderful time in the Castle Palace and Vimiledhrme was so attentive, thoughtful and curious. It's a very cosy place, super comfy beds and beautiful rooms with balconies amidst nature - we saw a lot of animals. We also had dinner on the day of arrival. It was very delicious - a bit more pricey than local places but definitely freshly made. It's a hidden gem at the lake and you can also swim there if you don't mind a bit of muddy ground. The path to the hotel is a bit tricky but doable as a self-driver with a tuktuk. It's an hour from Kandy so we stayed for two nights and went on a day trip to the Botanical Garden and one of the tea factories. If you are looking for a quite stay with no other noises than nature this is perfect.
