Easy to locate and very convenient way of getting to Shirakawa Go. Once there, we were able to explore at our own pace but could also join our guide, Yasushi-san, for a detailed explanation of Wada house (on top of the explanations about the history of the town on the way there). What a wonderful day spent at Shirakawa-go! The weather was beautiful and our guide Yasushi-san was so knowledgeable and funny. If you get him on your tour, count yourself lucky. (P.S Don’t skip the Observatory or the delicious pudding!)

This tour was so amazing. The drive, tour and visiting the historic village and learning all about its history was so good, but having Yasushi as our tour guide really elevated it. He kept everyone entertained on the drive to and from and also his knowledge really showed through

Very mystical experience walking through the historic village in the rain with Very atmospheric low clouds around the mountains. I don't think there would be a bad type of weather to see the village in. Yasushi was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide and gave a great introduction to the area on the trip to the village so we had the option to explore freely on arrival. We had an additional tour with him at the Wada house which was worth a village. It was a magical morning just strolling the streets, thank you!

We gained an excellent insight into modern and ancient Japan as well as details about Shirakawa-go. The tour was well-organised, the bus comfortable and driving smooth. Yasushi was an excellent guide for our day trip from Kanazawa. On time, organized, and really knowledgeable about the village history and how the gassho-zukuri houses were built. He also pointed us to the best photo spots and timed things to avoid the crowds. Friendly, easy to understand, and made the whole day stress-free. Highly recommend.

Yasushi was our guide for this wonderful tour of Shirakawago. It’s a wondering site to visit even with it raining for the whole trip. The Mountain View’s with the mist and the traditional houses are a sight to behold. Yasushi is very knowledgeable of the area with great recommendations and very passionate in helping you have the best time.

We had a lovely time with Yasushi. He is very friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. He has great humor and we could tell he really loves his job and his country. Imie-san was a great bus drive and made the trip smoothly.

Well worth the trip out of Kanazawa. Fascinating history of the village and the houses are quite astonishing. Our guide Hatsone, Japan Panorama was excellent.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company's unacceptable treatment of tourists. Our tour guide left us stranded in a remote village after we got lost and arrived just 10-15 minutes late. She made absolutely no attempt to call us, check on our whereabouts, or ensure that we were safe before leaving. To make matters worse, the guide, Hatsne, had not provided us with her personal contact number, leaving us with no way to reach her directly. When I called the emergency contact number provided by the her, the staff refused to arrange a bus or any alternative transportation back to Kanazawa. I was left to figure everything out on my own in an unfamiliar area of Japan. As a result, I had to arrange my own transportation and pay twice as much to return to Kanazawa. I subsequently requested a refund, but the company refused to provide any compensation or take responsibility for what happened. This is an appalling level of customer service and a complete failure of responsibility toward tourists. Being only 10-15 minutes late should never justify abandoning tourists in a remote village without checking on their safety or offering any assistance. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this company. I will never book with them again. Absolutely unacceptable. One star is already too generous.

On a beautiful day, we were very well guided by Hatsune. Informative, joyfull and attentive to her guests. She was also ultra polite and kept the group on schedule using humour. For that price, I though the admission fee to the Wada house should have been cover though.

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour experience with our tour guide, Hatsune. One thing we enjoyed this particular tour is because once we arrived to Shirakawa-go, we all got to go off on ourselves and tour the village on our own. Whereas other tours were in a big group and had to go where the tour went. Hatsune provided a bunch of valuable info on the bus ride there about the village which set us up to know for when we arrived. I would highly recommend this tour if you would like to be able to go off on your own and explore the village, eat what you want, etc.

This was an amazing experience and we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Hatsune! Shirakawago was a really amazing place to visit, we learned a lot about the areas traditional industries and delicacies, all of which are situated in an area of sublime natural and architectural beauty. Hatsune did a great job pointing out what things to see and try on the bus ride from Kanazawa, and everything lived up to the hype.

Friendly staff, you have the freedom to do what you want when you get there! Very scenic. Good way to spend half the day

Yasushi was one of the best guides I've been with through the years taking walking tours. He's cheerfull, full of energy and gave a lot of information about Shirakawa-go ,and even food reccomendations in Kanazawa. He heard I've lost my wallet in one of the local houses, called the family who lived there and ran to get it back😭.

Yasushi is an incredible guide with a deep love for sharing information and history about Japan. The tour of shirakawago was really nice and interesting, we had time to wander around, visit a typical house and taste the local food.
