World Heritage Shirakawa-go And Experience Tours From Kanazawa

The overall tour was very good. Travel time to Shirakawa-go went by quickly with the narration given by the tour guide. The bus was very clean and comfortable. Seeing the village of Shirakawa-go is remarkable to see the old thatch homes. Very interesting to see the Wada house / museum. I would have liked to have stayed a little longer than the 2 hours allotted. Just a reason to come back. Our tour guide Hatsune was excellent. She provided lots of fun and useful information on the bus ride. She is very personable, approachable and funny, Her English is excellent as she went to college in the U.S.

Our Shirakawa-go experience was very enjoyable even though it rained. Our guide Hatsune was wonderful, super friendly, funny and very informative both in route and at the Wada House. If you use your time efficiently, the 2 hours in the village was plenty of time to visit. Be sure to hike to the observatory for the view.

Hatsune was a fabulous guide…informative, knowledgeable, and entertaining. The morning tour was the right amount of time and Shirakawa-go does not disappoint. Beautiful!

This is two hours in Shirakawa-go which is a little tight; would have been nice to have a little more time. It was Autumn when we went - so beautiful! Hatsune is very good and her job. Informative and entertaining! And excellent English.

Such a special experience to know ancient Nihon! Our tour guide Hatsune was really kind and helpful. She speaks perfect English and algo taught us a bit of Japanese! The Japan’s history she told us helped to understand much better about Shirakawa-go.

Amazing experience in Shirakawa-go. Shout out to Keita who was an incredible guide, extremely nice, funny and informative. We arrived quite early so that was great to see a not so crowded Shirakawa. The time you have up there is enough but if you like photography you may not have enough time to also seat somewhere and get something to eat. Price is quite good because it’s just a little more than booking a bus yourself and way easier. All in all a great experience made even better thanks to our amazing guide Keita!

Our tour was informative and fun. Yasushi provided lots of good casual education about Kanazawa and local attractions both nearby and throughout Japan His knowledge of the village history and house construction was very interesting. Yasushi has excellent English and has good humour 👌 . We felt safe, well looked after and good value for money. Air conditioning / bus quality good too. Best tour in Japan. !!

We booked this tour spontaneously, without planning it in advance, and it turned out to be the best decision ever! First of all, our guide Keita was absolutely amazing! His energy was incredible: he was funny, engaging, welcoming, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. On our way to Shirakawa-go, we learned so much about Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go, as well as some interesting facts about other regions of Japan. We even got to learn a little bit of Japanese, hehe! The timing was perfect, as we got to explore Shirakawa-go with very few other tourists around, which made the experience even more special. It was also lovely to arrive already knowing so much about the place thanks to all the explanations Keita had shared with us along the way. I would definitely take this tour again in another season! Thank you so much, Keita, for such a wonderful experience!!!

What a delightful morning trip to this precious UNESCO mountain village. It is a true gem & so definitely worth visiting if you are fortunate enough to get the opportunity. Our guide for the trip was Hatsune who was so engaging, knowledgeable & kept us entertained. Thank you so much Hatsune, you are a real treasure. The Hida beef skewers, the savoury rice Balls & the unfiltered dry sake are a super recommendation.

We have a rainy day, but it was worth it, I recommend you to stay 4 hours in shirakawa, so you can try local food, check all the tourism spots and view souvenirs with calm, keita was a good guide

Keita san is a professional tour guide, he provides good information about Japan culture and the tour itself. He is also amusingly funny.

The guide Hatsune was really nice and prepared and she gave us nice hints on what to see and how to experience Shirakawa in the best way. But the quantity of information weren’t that much, and I think maybe it costs a little too much for something similar to book your own train/bus and reading something about the place while on the train

We loved our half day trip to Shirakawa-go with Japan Panoramic Tours. Our guide, Yasushi, made our day. He was fully supportive and giving us very useful and detail explanations, not only about Shieakawa-go, but also a brief history of Japan and Kinazawa. We fully enjoyed our day and having Yasushi as our tour guide, one of the most knowledgeable and charismatic guys I have ever seen. He is also a very very good English speaker. I strongly recommend this tour!

Yasushi made for such a great experience. Shiwakawa-go is an amazing place and having a guide made it amazing to learn about the culture and ways of living. It was a great amount of time in Shiwakawa-go so we were able to look around and try the local food without busy crowds.

Yasushi was an energetic, friendly and informative guide. He provided a wealth of knowledge in a passionate and engaging fashion. We thought he was great. Loved the tour and the unique insight it provided of Japanese culture and heritage.

First impression is very friendly and welcoming. Hatsune san uses visual guide to introduce the historical background of shirakawa go, which is very engaging. She gave a easy to digest introduction to Wada san's house. She has great passion for what she's doing and sounds like a seasoned guide though she's only started for two months! がんばって!
