An excellent tour. The guide peng was awesome and patient with us answering a ton of questions and showing us the today of the city as well as the heritage. We saw all the major attractions as well as the quirky ones like the gold leaf coated ice cream, the best coffee in town and also the souvenir shops that sold quality items that were not over priced. An over all amazing day with many high lights.

We enjoyed a wonderfully informative tour. Like being taken around town by a friend. All well paced, covering the best sights, flavours and sounds of Kanazawa. Recommended!
We saw the city highlights, including the gardens, and learned what to do at the temple- you’ll have to take the tour to find out!
Get yourself booked in with this company! Kanazawa is such a beautiful place and having Pei as our tour guide really broadened our knowledge about the area. He even taught me a couple of Japanese idioms to use in the rest of my Japan trip. We were fortunate enough to meet Kendra on the trip too (the other tour guide) and it was lovely to see her perspective as a non-japanese, they both had tips and tricks for the Japanese culture and they're both so friendly! Highlights of the tour - samurai district, oyama shrine and the kenrokuen garden. Personal favourite - the food at the omicho market!
What an incredible Tour. We had the best time. Absolutely worth it. Our tour guide was incredible, extremely knowledgeable and explained the history and fascinating points of each sight. Highly recommend.
We had such a fun and relaxing day! Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Learned a lot and saw beautiful spots. Highly recommend!
I couldn't have asked for a better guide, she knew all the best places to visit and made our trip all the better. Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to make the most out of they're trip. 10 out of 10 :)
Wonderful guide!!! We got to see so many amazing places with hidden gems we would have never thought to go see! Worth the price and I will definitely be recommending this to everyone! 5 stars!!!
Great walking tour. Good pace, good information. Good flexibility on sequencing to take into account lunch time and rain showers. Recommending Pei wholeheartedly !
It was absolutely worth it. Kendra not only did a fantastic job explaining the history of Kanazawa, but also was a delightful tour companion.
Kendra has so much expertise and knowledge of the area, not to mention she is extremely welcoming! We loved her, and would recommend her or this company to any of our friends and family traveling to Japan!
This is a great tour for couples or small groups. We traveled at a comfortable pace and Kendra allowed us to spend time in areas of most interest. I appreciated her English and good explanations of the importance of each area visited. Kendra made sure we got back to the hotel and provided a great lunch option. She even provided recommendations for the rest of our Japan tour.
Pei is very handsome, he has shown us beautiful things! We would absolutely recommend everybody to go on a trip with him!
I had a fantastic tour in Kanazawa with Nanpei! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. His passion for the city really came through. Highly recommended!
Pei was the absolute best host for my tour of Kanazawa! I had seen some of the major sights earlier that morning but Pei was extremely flexible and attentive to all of my interests! He was gracious and kind as well as passionately knowledgeable about the history of the city. He provided several personal recommendations and truly went above and beyond. Thank you Pei for a magical experience!
Wonderful way to see so many historical places. Customized to your tastes and likes. Pei was awesome about communicating with us.
It was the best experience we had in Japan! Pei our guide is very professional but also funny and fluent in English. Not only we could visit all the main sites in this half day tour but we also got a chance to learn a lot about the history, the culture and so much more! Kanazawa is a wonderful city and I will go back one day.
This was an awesome seven hour tour of Central Kanazawa. We got to tour the Higashiyama-Chaya district as well as the old samurai house and Kanazawa Castle. We saw several beautiful gardens, including the one next to the castle, which was excellent. We toured the market where we had an excellent lunch. Our guide, Pei, was well-versed in the history and spoke fluent in English. I would highly recommend this tour.
I had a fantastic full-day private tour in Kanazawa with Pei as my guide! He was incredibly friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, making the day both informative and fun. Pei went above and beyond—taking great photos, sharing fascinating insights, and making me feel truly welcome. Highly recommended.
A nice provincial town with lots of small restaurants, where everything is done on foot, and easy to access by train
The experience was amazing, Pei was great, it feels more like visiting with a friend who knows the history of the city than with a guide
