We really enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights! It was a 20 min walk from Kanazawa station, flat and very walkable. Our room was very spacious and slippers were provided. A few less amenities than our other Japan hotels such as pyjamas and face and hair care products, but they sold incredible Nato gelato. The luggage storage was a lounge type room and it was very full when we arrived but did provide a locking device and key.
Love this hotel! Clean, big room, comfortable, quiet But one down thing is, our room is equipped with washing machine when we book, and when we arrive it said can not be used. And we need to pay for the common one. Also the reception team are very nice and helpful to assist us to our car that got stuck in the icy car park.
This hotel met all our needs for our trip to Kanazawa for the Hyakumangoku Matsuri. Check-in is self-service and you need to make reservations for breakfast, but there is often a receptionist should you need assistance. The rooms were super clean and had warm lighting in the main area. Absolutely loved the private bathroom and toilet room! The bed may seem stiff for some, but the firmness actually helped me a lot with my back issues so I was quite comfortable and able to recover after long days of walking. We only reserved breakfast for one day, but it was beyond what we expected. Though the food was simple, it was affordable, delicious, and well made. There is also a free Laundry facility on the second floor! We were able to wash our clothes before heading out to the next city. My only complaint is the standard pillow is small. Everything else was awesome! Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will definitely return should we come back to Kanazawa next trip out!
FANTASTIC HOTEL. ONE IN A KIND. My family and I spent two nights (three days) at Minn Kanazawa, and it was an outstanding experience. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with excellent lighting and thoughtful decor that transports you to a more traditional era of Japan. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Their strong English skills made communication seamless and added to the overall comfort of our stay. The breakfast offering was good. We liked the served dishes. Nevertheless, I’d recommend having a second option just in case. Apart from that little detail, nothing to complain about!
The Minn Kanazawa is on a main street close to buses but also walkable to many attractions and restaurants. The room was large and comfortabl and nicely decorated. The amenities were not as prolific as some other places but available when asked for. The basics such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash were included and seemed of very good quality. There was an atmosphere of non wastefulness. Instead of a buffet breakfast, there was breakfast made fresh for you. Fresh towels, cleaning and bedding were available upon request. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again
