Stayed for four nights. Three of us including a baby. Room @ 9th flr [Decent] - Facilities show age and all the more, better cleaning is desired - Space is good with double bed - A clean, beautiful view of the city and ocean at the back Location & conenience [Excellent] - Right at the heart of Kanazawa city - Directly connects to Korinbo basement car park (Carpark itself is a little tricky with narrow, curved, up/down passage). - The hotel offers driver-friendly plan that comes with free parking coupon. Breakfast [Good] - Can get crowded with queue (better after 8:30~) - Great variety of dishes from rice, bread, soup, salad, drinks and dessert (Did not see much daily change) Service [Excellent] - All very professionally trained and attentive Price [Excellent] - Car parking and breakfast inclusive, large bed, shopping coupons (for petrol)

Great location near castle, park, shopping, restaurants, very large seafood market. Bathroom outdated. Breakfast sub par-requested ham/cheese omelet and the cook said “no cheese” yet at the cold plate area it had three different types of cheese. So I scratched my head?
Let’s be entirely clear: Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel is NOT a 4-star hotel. Do not let the good location or the "Okayish" lobby fool you. We traveled in a group and booked 5 rooms on the 9th floor for a single night through a Japanese travel agency. Every single room was an absolute sauna. Upon check-in, you have to leave your key card in the slot to turn on the power. We turned the AC on immediately, dropping the thermostat from 25°C to 20°C. After waiting three hours in suffocating heat, nothing had changed. When we went to the front desk to complain, two staff members came up to the room and immediately started making up ridiculous excuses. First, they tried to gaslight us by claiming the temperature was "okay." Then, they offered us a cheap rotating table fan. Finally, when we refused to accept that, they admitted the truth: the AC temperature is centrally controlled. They told us they "would check what could be done" and suggested we open the windows. It was 27°C (80°F) outside! This is a blatant, cheap "cost-saving" measure disguised as hospitality. All 5 of our rooms suffered from the exact same issue. While the room layout is decent and the room looked superficially clean, the details tell a different story. The bathrooms are a bit dated, and the metal door to the bathroom was covered in white smudges and grime. We have been staying at actual 4- and 5-star hotels across Japan on this trip, including Hiltons, Nikko hotels, and premium boutique properties, and all of them were excellent and worth every penny. The Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel is a massive disappointment. If you like sleeping in a sweatbox after a scorching day of walking at 29° humid climate, and being lied to by the front desk, book here. Otherwise, stay anywhere else.
Convenient hotel located near shopping, restaurants and several 7 Elevens, Family Mart and Lawson stores. Hotel rooms provide everything you need, including mini frig, but are not glamorous. Starbucks off hotel lobby.
Prefect location within walking distance of all the attractions. Great rooms with cool Japanese style blackout sliding windows and an awesome shower room! Amazing staff - especially the concierge, Nagahara San, recommended the best hidden gem restaurants for us every night. Also a very extensive breakfast buffet.
