A fantastic safari experience with Charles I had a wonderful experience exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park with Kubwa Five Safari with Charles as my driver and guide for a day and a half, two nights. The journey from the airport to the park was a long one, but Charles made the whole experience incredibly smooth and enjoyable. He was professional, funny and a real gentleman, and his company made such a difference as I was travelling solo. We had a fantastic game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, where Charles knew exactly where to take me and helped me get some great sightings. I also did the boat trip, which was a real highlight and a completely different way to experience the park. On the way towards Masaka, we also added Lake Mburo National Park, which was a lovely bonus and gave me the chance to see another side of Uganda. What I appreciated most was Charles's knowledge of the area and his willingness to make the most of the journey. Whether we were on safari or travelling between destinations, he was attentive to where we stopped along the way. A great experience from start to finish, and I would definitely recommend Charles to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional and personable guide in Uganda

Itinerary
Day 1
1
On your arrival, Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper will welcome you to Uganda at Entebbe airport and transfer you to Sky hotel | Bushpig Lodge Sky hotel in Kampala located 10 Km from the city center towards Naalya Housing Estate, it has a capacity of 29 Rooms with twin beds taking up 58 guests, there is one restaurant, which is open from 7-10 am for breakfast. However, it is open for the rest of the day for meals.
Kampala was famously built on seven hills. Today’s capital of Uganda now sprawls haphazardly over more than 20 hills and is still expanding rapidly. Kampala is dotted with colorful markets, including the frenetic Nakasero Market at the foot of Nakasero Hill, which sells fresh produce from eggs and chickens, to fish, halal meats, and all kinds of vivid vegetables, tubers, and fruit. Also try Kampala’s legendary Rolex – not a Swiss timepiece, but a popular street food combining an egg omelet and vegetables wrapped in a chapatti (flat, round bread made without yeast). A little further west, Owino Market sells all manner of goods from food and spices to pots, pans, and secondhand clothes. For typical Ugandan souvenirs such as wood carvings, woven barkcloth mats and pots, decorated gourds, musical instruments, leather and sisal (a strong white fiber) baskets and textiles, head to the Uganda Arts & Crafts Village behind the National Theatre on Buganda Road.
Day 2
2
Depart at 6:00am for your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have lunch on your way. You will arrive in the afternoon, then head out for a game game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park aiming to catch the lions hunting in the evening. Lions usually hunt as the day dawns since the temperatures are cooler. We also expect to see the Uganda kob, elephants, buffalo, warthog, leopard and waterbuck. Dinner and overnight at either Engiri Game lodge or Simba safari camp.
Day 3
3
Begin the day with breakfast, and then embark on a drive to enjoy a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect to see large numbers of buffalo and hippo. We will then proceed back to Kampala making a stop at the Equator in Masaka for snacks, photographs and souvenirs. Arrive in Kampala later that evening and transferred to Entebbe for your departure flight.
The Equator line in Uganda is found along the Masaka-Mbarara highway at what has become a small town called Kayabwe. This is the widely known landmark and the go-to for all looking to witness the Equator experiment and take photos. It is a popular activity. The Equator at Kayabwe is a regular and recommended stopover for all tourists going to the western part of the country and those on their way back to Kampala or Entebbe.

We had a great safari with Kubwa Five Safaris. It was a trip to remember, we saw many animals, the animals such as lions, leopards, rhinos that I had seen in the wild. Peter was a great guide, he knew a lot about animals, he was very friendly and had sense of humour. If you book with this company for a vacation in Kenya, please ask for Peter to be your guide. We liked the hotels, their customer care and, meals were great. If you are planning an African vacation, Kubwa Five Safaris is company to contact, you won't be disappointed, in fact, they offer you services beyond your expectations.
It was mild blowing experience, expecially the wildlife and how calm and peaceful the whole is. I can't wait to visit next year with my loved ones.

Vacation with Kubwa Five Safaris is superb. I enjoyed magnificent amazing Africa scenery. Tour guide with excellent knowledge on Africa histry and wild animals. No doubt everything is fantastic. A tour of a lifetime to remember.
When my sister and I wanted to book a last minute safari (literally a month before), this safari company was more than willing to help us and host us for six days. They are extremely well organized, and they took care of all plans for the safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest including our gorilla licenses for tracking, accommodation, all food, all transport to and from the airport and different parks. They are also staffed with the nicest team members. Our personal guide Steven was amazing, driving us from location to location, describing the landscape and history of the country and its contents, and making sure we were happy and satisfied during our six day excursion. My sister and I particularly enjoy being active, and although a large part of the safari is in the car, Steven made sure that we had beautiful game views during the game drives. When we said we loved getting up early to watch the beautiful sunrise, he made sure that we did it the next day as well, and because he is an expert safari tracker, we got to see lions that morning as well. The places we stayed were lovely and quaint with fantastic food, but what made the experiences were the staff at each lodge. They made us wonderful meals and made sure we had everything we needed to have a more than comfortable night. Overall, 3 Days and 2 nights in Queen Elizabeth National Park plus 2 nights in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest surpassed our expectations, as did the activities. Tracking both chimps and gorillas was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Uganda has such beautiful scenery and wildlife that I was never bored even being in the car for 1-5 hours. They truly showed us that Uganda is the pearl of Africa.
We have just returned from a 3 days safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park, we had a great independence weekend holiday in the wilderness with Kubwa Five Safaris, this trip is one of the best experiences of my lifetime. Our guide Steven, was amazing. Steven has a wide knowledge and expertise in birds, animals and culture. We could not have asked for a better guide to take us around Uganda. The activities we had were exceptional with excellent service. We really love the hotel we stayed in and meals were were superb I highly recommend this 3 day trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Kubwa Five Safaris.
Kubwa Five Safaris is a reliable source for all your travel needs, not only them being a reliable source but they provide excellent travel services as well. We book with them for a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and we had a trip of a lifetime. Activities were well arranged and we greatly every activity. The game drives and boat ride were outstanding, I saw animals that I had never seen. We really like the hotel booked for us, Engiri safari lodge was great hotel with great customer care, and the meals were delicious. The lodge is in the middle of the park, and you get to see animals anytime passing by, elephants were grazing besides our lodge and one of the nights buffaloes grazed from the same place. I enjoyed seeing them grazing at a very close distance. Thank you for an outstanding vacation to Queen Elizabeth National Park that you gave us. We will book with you again in future, you guys are the best travel company in Uganda.

The highest of the trip was seeing a lion an antelope, the sceen is still fresh in my mind, it was such an amazing to watch. We enjoyed the boat cruise on Kazinga channel, they were many hippos that we saw. Queen Elizabeth National Park has a lot to see and we were able to see all about because of the tour guide, Steven who knew best places in the park to see animals such as the big five. I absolutely recommend Kubwa Five Safaris.
We booked the 3 days trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park and it was great. The guide was promptly on time and very friendly, knowledgeable and clear communicator on how the trip would be. Kubwa Five Safaris made our vacation experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park amazing. In addition to ensuring we had a jam-packed activities such as game drives, birding, boat cruise, guided nature and cultural walks. We saw lions, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, warthogs, and much more. The guide (Steven ) did an amazing job in driving and guiding us, he is such a very knowledgeable guide. Last weekend we had a wonderful trip to Queen Elizabeth Park with friends. We enjoyed the two game drives (evening amd morning game drive), we saw lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos and other animals. We missed seeing leopards but that is not a big issue. Boat ride on kazinga channel was an amazing, we saw various bird species during our boat ride. Accommodation and meals were great. Our guide did an amazing job, he was very knowledgeable and he had an excellent way of communication. Thank Kubwa Five Safaris giving us such a wonderful trip.
A group of 8 of us booked with this company to go on a Safari (visited Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater) and Zanzibar vacation last year during the festive season. We visited the historic stone town and then had a relaxing beach getaway on the island of Zanzibar. A big thank you to Kubwa Five Safaris for setting everything up and tailoring this experience to be everything I could have ever asked for. Our guide always kept time, and we didn't miss any activity. The vehicle was very comfortable, the accommodations were safe, clean, beautiful and fun....food was top notch and the guide (Godfrey) for the safari went above and beyond for us throughout. We never had to worry about anything ever. We saw many animals (in Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro) and culture then we could have ever dreamed of seeing and then ended with an unbelievable stay at a Zanzibar beach resort. Every aspect of this vacation was organized to perfection and I could not be happier with the total experience. If you are looking for a travel company make sure to book with this company, you will be given the best experiences of your life. You won't be disappointed.
We took a 3-days Safari to Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda. We used the Landcruiser which was very comfortable. We were privileged to see 4 of the Big 5 during our evening game drive and one of the the highlights was a unique local experience in the pakwach community. The boat cruise was another highlight of the trip, we saw many hippos, after the boat cruise, we hiked from the bottom of the falls to the top of the falls. Murchison Falls is said to to be the most powerful falls in the World. You better visit Murchison Falls National park. Kubwa 5 Safari was proffesional in the way the whole tour was handled. We had 2 awesome guys (Steven and Ignatius) taking us around. They were excellent at their job and they really took effort in making sure we had a remarkable safari. No doubt about it but this is the tour and travel company to book with. Our drivers Steven and Ignatius were absolutely fantastic. They were patient, kind, and extreemly professional. They had very good knowledge about the animals and where to find them. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely use this company again. We would definitely book with Kubwa 5 Safaris again and wish to have Steven and Ignatius as our guides.
My husband and I traveled to Uganda with Kubwa Five Safaris in December 2019. Everything was well organized from day one until our last day in Uganda. Their communication via emails was always prompt and superb. We had an amazing tour guide ( he is called Steven) who never got tired of our many questions. He knew a lot about his country, nature, and wildlife. He had a big smile always, and we really loved his sense of humor. Thank you for the amazing services you offered to us during our trip to Uganda. We plan to come back to Uganda for Gorilla trekking probably next year, we will surely book with you again.
We recently did a trip with from Kubwa Five Safaris. It was a wonderful trip. Our guide was full of information about the wildlife and culture. An excellent driver, we enjoyed the trip thoroughly. I would totally recommend this company if you are planning to have a vacation from the top destinations in Uganda. Kubwa Five Safaris made our trip so memorable.

I visited Kenya with my family, the safari was our best trip ever. Everything was perfectly organised by Kubwa Five Safaris The team was there to meet our expectations and always made sure we were happy. Our trip was tailor made according to our preferences but we were also given suggestions on how to make the best out of our time. We visited Giraffe center at Nairobi, followed by 3 nights in Maasai Mara, while in Maasai Mars, we had 2 game drives, and Maasai village cultural visit. We also went Lake Nakuru National Park. We were able to spot the Big 5(lions, leopards, elephants , buffaloes and rhinos). We were very fortunate to have Moses as our guide, who was beyond fantastic. Moses was kind, friendly, very knowledgeable and explained everything. The hotels were beautiful and the food was delicious. My family and I had a great vacation in Kenya. I recommend Kubwa Five Safaris to everyone who plans to visit Kenya.

Days Wild Tour Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari Uganda was my plan for a long time. The tour was so amazing and interesting We are happy for this best safari Thanks so much
Our trip to Uganda with Kubwa Five Safaris was excellent. We visited Murchison Falls National Park, and we saw many animals such as lions, many giraffes, buffa loes, and birds during our game drive. We were so lucky to see the two leopards on a tree. We went for a boat ride after the game drive. The boat ride was undoubtedly the highlight of the day, with the boat being able to provide close access to buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, and even a herd of elephants. Our guide pointed out not just large animals, but small ones and the amazing birds too. After the game drive, we had a lovely lunch at Paraa safari lodge (5-star lodge), this was not on our itinerary, this company gave us a surprise. Kubwa Five Safaris also provided our airport transfers. The driver was very punctual, polite pick-up/drop-off, very knowledgeable. He was so informative, helpful, and accommodating. He was a phenomenal company representative. The vehicle we travelled in was comfortable, and the hotels were great. We enjoyed African meals, they have great taste, I can't forget to mention the pineapples, jack fruits and bananas, Uganda has the best delicious fruit. beautiful part of the world again, we would definitely If we traveled to this book tours and excursions through Kubwa Five Safaris.
Kubwa Five Safaris definitely has the best drivers and guides in Africa. In particular, Andrew(guide) is talented, patient, and knowledgeable about the wildlife in Tanzania, he stopped whenever we wanted to and was extremely sympathetic. The landscapes were breathtaking and swarming with wild animals including the big five . I also had a lifetime opportunity to physically see some of the most endangered and rare species. Kubwa Five Safaries is well organized; every day was full of activities. Our safari was so much more than we expected, we were given more services than we what we had paid for. Tanzania is a pleasant country, accessible because of good roads and other necessities. Kubwa Five Safaris takes the time to customize your safari trip to your budget and interests (travel needs and expectations) and provides valuable input! The services are also reasonably priced and you always feel like you are receiving the maximum value for your money! The hotels were excellent. We were provided with more than enough refreshments per day, the vehicle had a refrigerator, and the charging point for phones and WiFi (internet) in the car. Kubwa Five Safaris' services are superb. What an incredible 12-day safari we had in Tanzania! I would not hesitate to recommend Kubwa Five Safaris to anybody and definitely, I will be using them for another trip on my next visit.
We had an amazing 3 day Safari with Kubwa Five Safaris in Uganda. We had a wonderful team of guides/drivers, we were given fantastic lodgings. An excellent organisation by Kubwa Five Safaris, in a nutshell, we had an unforgettable experience. Thank you all for an epic trip and a dream vow exchange! We felt so safe and so pleased. We had a modified the open-sided vehicle especially for us to get the best shots. All our accommodations were incredible, beautiful views, wonderful staff and incredible food. It really was a holiday of a lifetime. I couldn't recommend it enough
We had no idea where to plan for our first vacation in Uganda, we did not have a tour operator to use in Uganda but after I did some research online, I landed on Kubwa Five Safaris and emailed them just to get an idea of a Uganda safari. They provided outstanding communication service from the very first inquiry about a safari. Our trip was absolutely amazing; they made it a trip of a lifetime. The reservations department was excellent in communication. They were quick to respond to my seemingly endless questions. They were very welcoming and it made preparing for the trip very easy. This company designed the tour to fit all of our requests. My friends and I greatly enjoyed the activities this company planned for us. We were given great care. The guide called Moses was highly skilled at spotting animals, included but not limited to the big 5 (lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes) in Murchison Falls National Park, we saw the rhinos at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary on our way from Murchison Falls National Park. Moses indeed had extensive knowledge of all the animals and we saw over 100 species of birds during our game drives and boat rides in Uganda) and Moses' skilled driving was nothing short of amazing. He made sure we had the best positioning to get photos. We hope to return to Uganda to do Gorilla trekking, we were unable to have the trekking because we had a few days in Uganda, and we will definitely use this company again.
It was not my first to Africa as a solo traveler but it was my first time visiting Rwanda and Uganda. I flew into Kigali Airport and I was welcomed by the whole pleasant team (Joseph the founder, Joan the tour guide in Rwanda, Steven the driver and William the photographer ) at the airport, I was then transferred to the hotel which was very close to the airport. As a solo traveler, I felt safe with 3 men and one lady around me all the time. Joan was so knowledgeable about Rwanda and constantly explained things and pointed things out to me. The cultural interaction at Gorilla Guadian Village (Ibyiwacyu) I experienced in Rwanda is out of this world. I was crowned as a queen, I dressed an African queen outfit. After Rwanda, we connected to Uganda. I had amazing Gorilla trekking with other people from different parts of the world. The amount and diversity of wildlife in Uganda is outstanding and I came across many hippos, lions, buffaloes, and other animals. I encountered an elephant at the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National park, every night through the window I would spot hippos, buffaloes, and other animals. The sunset boat cruise on the Kazinga channel was amazing which started just after lunch. However, the vehicle had some technical difficulties (was a little bit of an adventure) at the beginning of the trip but Joseph and Steven were extremely competent and made every effort to resolve the car situation. I believe that a great company is not all about the problems you encounter but how they rectify them. I was a budget traveller but I had a 5-star experience. The hotels provided me with delicious and varied food throughout the tour, some other days I would have meals at restaurants in the community. I was supposed to stay longer (31 days in both countries) on the trip but I had to terminate the trip as a result of COVID-19 pandemic. I had an excellent time and enjoyed my adventure in Rwanda and Uganda very much. I just don't think I could have had this experience with any other provider. They took great care of me and all my needs. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to experience Rwanda and Uganda. I will go back to Uganda next year to complete my trip, then connect to Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Zambia, still this same company will organize my trip.
We have just come from a group trip with Kubwa Five Safaris. I didn't mind joining a group since it wasn't a bit expensive to have a trip as a solo traveller. We visited Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park.We were 18 of us, the health SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) such as wearing of masks, sanitizers etc, were put in place, we were in two minibuses, and 9 people in each minibus. Actually this company provided us with disposable face masks and each day they gave new ones. We enjoyed the game drives and boat ride, while on our game drive, we saw; lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, etc. I look forward to booking with us Kubwa Five Safaris again for my vacation next year.
Kubwa Five Safaris had the most reasonable rates, and they were great in communication, so I felt pretty good about booking a tour with them. Kubwa Five Safaris was more attentive, tailor-making the tour to our exact specifications, giving excellent tips and recommendations, and putting through all the detailed changes we requested quickly and efficiently. Our driver/guide, Joan was a really lovely and knowledgable person. We greatly enjoyed this company for the days we were in Rwanda. The gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park was beyond all expectations in terms of our proximity and views of the gorillas. We trekked the Sabinyo group and after a couple of hours, we met the endangered giants up in the hills. It was an amazing experience to see the gorillas close up in the wild and this is one of the most memorable trips that I have ever taken. In the afternoon, after the trek, we enjoyed a relaxed evening at the Iby'wachu Village where we learned about the history, culture, and heritage of the Rwandan people. This is another amazing experience that you should not miss while in Rwanda. All of our accommodation was lovely and really showed us the variety Rwanda has to offer. From staying in a luxury high rise hotel in Kigali to jungle camping in Kagera National Park and staying in a variety of safari lodges, all hotels were lovely, with great facilities, great food and drinks, friendly staff (& wildlife!) and lovely rooms. I strongly advise you to request Joan as your driver and guide when you are in Rwanda! For one week, she was both our friend and our professional guide; enabling us to see all the highlights of a truly beautiful country in a relatively short length of time. I have no hesitation in recommending Kubwa Five Safaris to anyone planning a safari holiday in Rwanda in the future.
Our 15 days of safari in Kenya were breathing. We saw a lot of animals and birds, but the most important thing and the highlight of our trip was seeing the big five, I had never lions and leopard in the wild. While in Kenya we also got an opportunity to feed the Giraffes. The tour guide was great, he knew all the beautiful spots in the national parks for a wonderful view of animals. We will book again with Kubwa Five Safaris for our another African trip.
