From the moment I landed, everything was seamless and stress-free. The driver was waiting right on time at the arrivals area, holding a clear sign with my name. After a long international flight, seeing someone reliable and punctual waiting for me was such a relief. He was exceptionally professional — polite, friendly, and quick to help with my luggage. His vehicle was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had great air conditioning, which was very welcome after the journey. The drive to my hotel was smooth and efficient. The driver navigated the traffic confidently and safely, even offering helpful local insights about Johannesburg along the way. He was clearly experienced and took his job seriously, making me feel secure the entire ride. Raj is professional and considerate. Our flight was about two hours late and we were worried about how to get to our hotel. We were so happy to see Raj holding a sign with my name when we exited customs. Since this was our first visit to Johannesburg, his knowledge of the city and the recommendations he made were very beneficial. We will recommend Raj to everyone visiting Joburg.

The driver was waiting for me as I got off the plane. He was very helpful with my luggage and very informative I was apprehensive at first but once I met him I was quite comfortable as a single individual in a foreign country

Raj went above and beyond as our driver. The computers went down at passport control so what should have taken 20 minutes took 105 minutes. Raj patiently waited for us. We were in communication with him the entire time.

Raj was our driver. fortunately for both airport transfers. Lovely, professional and enjoyed his commentary about Johannesburg. The ride was smooth and seamless.

I was not collected and never travelled with Viator even though I booked and paid in advance. I came to the meeting area at 10:35 after going through passport and customs and no-one from Viator was there to meet me although they had my travel details. The airport information desk had never heard of Viator and there was no contact phone number on the receipt so I could not contact anyone to find out what had happened. The information centre advised me to get other transport because it might be a scam. I did get other transport and at 11:25 I received a WhatsApp written message from someone saying he was a driver to ask whether I was through passport control (he did not say he was waiting for me!). Since this was so late after my flight arrival time and I was already at my final destination, I did not respond, fearing that this was yet another scam.

Had all our 4 rides to airport with Raj. He is such a great guy and a friendly gentleman. Received and dropped us promptly on time . Was absolutely a pleasure riding with him. He engaged us with very informative and interesting conversations about history and other topics of the city. He also suggested restaurants, shopping places and sightseeing areas we can visit safely. Felt very safe with him and highly recommend this service. If he comes to pick you up, consider you are very lucky.

Very nice ride. Raj promptly picked us up at arrivals with our name sign. Drove us safely to the hotel. He explained some history and background of JNB and engaged us in conversation all along that we didn’t even realise that it took little longer in traffic to get our place. Such a wonderful person. The car is a nice luxury car. He also gave us a nice cold water bottle which was a nice gesture. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend this company.

Great friendly driver. Had nice conversations about the country and area. He even made recommendations for things to do and places to eat near our hotel.

While the signage could be more clear, the people we asked were generally helpful. We were snatched by luggage carriers who did not enhance our passage thru the airport and expected more than our tip by the rolling of their eyes. The double gate arrangement is not explained, also security is over the top.

This was a very easy transition from the airport and back. Our flight was delayed and even though that happened, Raj was waiting for us with a sign. We were quick to the car and off to the hotel with no issues. We had good conversations on the way to the hotel and back, sharing learned experiences and things to try in Port Elizabeth (biltong was delicious; thanx Raj!). Great communications before we arrived, and before we left had us on track to the airport with no issues. Totally recommend this service & Raj!

Solly was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge about South African and apartheid history. The exhibits that we saw were remarkable historical evidence of a time period that was so oppressive and destructive to indigenous South Africans. Solly gave us a deeper understanding of the meaning of the monuments and their historical and cultural significance.

I was asking for a hotel pick-up, but I arrived a minute or two late, and I got a little anxious, so I asked the hotel front desk to call me and the car arrived. You can't be late. What about being a minute late? After that it was very smooth.

Good fast secure service you can book in advance to anyone wants good price just haggle a little but it is pleasant atmosphere with the driver security

We lost our bags (5) at the airport in Johannesburg and thanks to a local Mr. Matsena Phure after almost a month of research were delivered to us in Italy. Truly an applause and a huge thank you to this person and his professionalism.
