⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely unforgettable experience! What an incredible weekend! We stayed at Kloofzicht Lodge on Sunday evening, and from the beautiful setting to the delicious dinner and breakfast, it was the perfect place to relax before our adventure. Our hot air balloon flight with Air Ventures was truly magical. The entire crew was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful, making us feel so well looked after from start to finish. A special thank you to Marius, our pilot, who was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and insightful. His calm and reassuring nature made us feel completely comfortable, while his knowledge added so much to the experience. Watching the sunrise from the balloon while floating peacefully above the landscape was simply breathtaking. A truly special memory that we will treasure forever. Thank you to everyone at Kloofzicht Lodge and Air Ventures for making it such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough! 🎈❤️

So it was our anniversary a few days ago, and we were celebrating. Our pilot was Marius and he was fantastic! Kind, friendly and funny. The flight was smooth, amazing view and we are so grateful to him and the other pilots for making our morning so special!! Very happy couple

Great experience with flight captain Marius Du Plooy and his crew from AirVentures. Absolute professional handling of the Hot Air Balloon in take off, during the flight and with a perfect landing. We really enjoyed all the information and the friendly conversation. We can definitely recommend this trip.

Marius and Marc, were outstanding. Went on my long awaited 50th Birthday Gift, and it was well worth the wait. Very early start this morning, but the weather held off, and had a perfect flight. The landing was a bit bumpy, but I would have expected nothing less. Celebrated with a Glass of Champagne, on landing. We were then treated to a 5 star breakfast at Kloofzicht Lodge and Spa. What a way to end a celebration.

Absolutely amazing experince.! The guys were professional, kind and humorous. Our pilot Harold was so kind and very informative. He was always looking for and pointing out wildlife. Gave us a fun history on hot air ballooning. The hotel was lovely and breakfast was very nicely done. Dont heistate!!! Can't say enough good things!!!!

The views were spectacular. Harold was fantastic!!!! Everyone must at least do this. Its roughly 45mins to 1 hour of blissful natural views

Amazing trip, one thing to do once in a life for sure! Specially with Airventures, our pilot was exceptional, calm, cool and very professional, we saw a lot of animals, and these flying sensation is nothing to compare. 100% recommended. Thanks again for this 40th birthday flight

The hot air balloon experience was everything I had hoped for and so much more. After waiting 50 years for this moment, it was absolutely worth it! Celebrating my 50th birthday by ticking this off my bucket list made it even more special. It’s truly about gathering unforgettable moments, and this adventure delivered in every way.

We had an amazing time! We weren’t expecting to also get some views of wildlife, but there was a game reserve next door so we saw rhinos, giraffes, and wildebeests; it was a lovely surprise!! We also had arranged transport to/from JNB through them and it was seamless and very reasonable priced. A truly unforgettable experience - 10/10 recommend!

To sum up this experience; unbelievable, amazing, well organized, the staff are friendly, passionate people who love what they do which resonates so loudly, one just has to experience it for themselves. Harold Tjiana gave us a great tour. He is passionate about his work and loves what he does, this showed throughout our experience. A very insightful and friendly guide. Would highly recommend

This flight was a birthday present to my husband. And indeed, it has been a very special and memorable adventure. The pilot (Harold), and his assistants (Jonny and Lucas) made these moments were very special. We enjoyed spotting out the animals in the Reserve, admiring the beautiful scenery from above, and the champagne offered at the end of the flight. We highly recommend to everyone that appreciates extraordinary events.

This is something you need to try if you’ve never had the chance. From start to finish was the perfect day. When we got to the location there was tea and coffee. The staff are brilliant, easy check in and explained everything. We was then taken to a shuttle bus and made our way to the balloon’s. Our Pilot Harold was such an amazing person, he was friendly and explained clearly about landing procedures. The balloons are guided by the wind so you can’t guarantee it will take you along the path the pilot is hoping for. Luckily we went on the right path and seen some amazing views and wildlife. After we landed we had a couple of glasses of champagne with Orange juice and spoke about the history of the land. We was then presented with a certificate. Back to the lodge for a full breakfast. This is something you need to try. Thanks again.

We did the balloon together with Marc.It was a fantastic experience with optimal weather and wind conditions. Flying from Klooftzicht Lodge through the gorge into the reservat to see the wildlife. It was an amazing experience! However getting in and out of the basket at the age of 78 and 81 tends to be a bit difficult as it does not have a door that opens BUT our pilot Neels and the whole crew was amazing!

I highly recommend these guys. Hugely enjoyable from arrival to a post flight breakfast. Thank you Marc and your team for a fantastic morning.

An awesome experience for my wife and I celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. Andries was our pilot - he was engaging, knowledgeable and answered all our questions on how to fly a balloon! He even landed the basket on the trailer at the end. There was nice touch of some sparkling wine while the balloon was being packed up. Launching from Kloofzicht made the trip that more memorable as you float over the dams and through the gorge at sun rise.

Lifetime experience with my daughter for my 40th birthday. The views were amazing. Happy we had good weather too... Loved it

This was an amazing experience. We were treated like VIP's from the start to the end. The pilot, Adam, was amazing and added to the experience as he was knowledgeable of the area and helped us enjoy the flight even more with his flying skills over rivers and trees. Adam also assisted me in making the flight extra special as I proposed on the flight and I'd like to thank AirVentures for making it memorable. I would recommend the experience to anyone.
