Captivating Safari Lion Park Experience (Half Day Guided Tour)

Amazing tour, Sabelo the tour guide showed a great knowledge and very didactic approach to make you understand about some history and curious facts about South African culture and history.

I learned a great deal about the care that the animals get. Our guide Princess was knowledgeable, helpful, and so much fun. She did a great job of explaining all about the animals in an entertaining and informative way. She also helped us take pictures when we couldn't get a photo from where we were sitting. This was a great tour.

It was overall a very good experience. Our driver Brian was exceptional.

I was picked up from my hotel by Sibele (may have butchered the spelling) who was fantastic. So knowledgeable about African history and geography. We had time to stop at another tourist village on the way too. The lions were amazing, we saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeest, zebras, ostrich, warthogs and Impala with a very knowledgeable and passionate your guide. I'd highly recommend this tour, it was definitely worth the money

The guide and organization of a tour was amazing! The tour itself was also amazing. We saw feeding of lions and a lot of animals up close. Absolutely recommend the tour and the tour provided. We also added tour of Soweto and Johannesburg and again the guide was amazing.

The Lion safari park experience was an excellent experience for me. I enjoyed seeing the different species of lions. I also got to see hyenas, giraffe, zebras, and other animals as well. It was only a half of day, but it was well worth it and I highly recommend the tour . The tour Operator notified me the day before to make sure I knew what I was going to be picked up from my hotel. I had a safe ride to the location.

Had an amazing experience and also with solly as our driver, he was very knowledgeable about the history of SA and all about the different tribes, the lion safari park was brilliant as we got to see the lions get fed and also a giraffe came over to the truck to get some snacks. Trip was memorable, had colleagues from abroad and they loved the experiences and the guides information which made for a memorable day. We got to be so close to the wild cats right next to vehicle which was somethibg we never experienced in the Kruger..would recommend Phillians4four

I booked the Lion Park Experience because I was only in Joburg for a day, and was short on time. Philippians 4 Four tour is a great way to do the safari park. I was collected from my hotel on time in a nice, clean car with a friendly driver. He then sorted admission to the Lion Park and waited for me to finish my safari before driving me directly back to the hotel. It was a safe, easy way to see the park!

My 11year old and I were picked up and dropped off at our hotel something we really appreciated. The park experience was nice seeing the animals up close and even having the giraffe roam with us. Seeing the white lions was a highlight for us. Thanks Solly for making this possible and convenient.

Driver arrived early and was good on the roads. Experience was excellent to see all the animals promised including Lions being fed. Tour guide was hilarious. Driver was waiting when we arrived back from the tour and took us home all in good time. Highly recommended if you have a half day spare in Johannesberg.

Visited the Lion Safari Park with my parents. My parents being an elderly couple, I appreciate how patient the tour guide- Bobo was with my parents during our pick up and drop off. Mr.Jacaranda who took us around the park has a nice sense of humour, he made the tour enjoyable. I couldn't have visited South Africa without seeing a Lion , So thank you guys for making this happen. The horizon is so gorgeous to behold.

Had a great day as far as weather. Guidelines was knowledgeable and able to assist with helping to get photos of the animals. The caged vehicle made this a challenge although understandable for safety reasons. Would have liked to have seen the leopards. All that was available was a far away shot of its head. Overall not bad considering the price and time.

Our group loved so much the Pilanesberg experience we’d had the day before that we wanted to go and check out the nature a bit more. Brian also picked us up on time and drove us to the Lion Park. There, he showed us the ducks and crocodiles and we went into another vehicle to experience the park itself. It is more of a zoo with really large areas where the animals are kept divided by species, and you drive into those areas in a cage-like jeep to see most of the animals. We got to see lions up close, a baby giraffe, zebras, hyenas, leopards… it takes about 4 hours from the time you get picked up to the time you get back into the city. Brian was kind enough to drop us off at Soweto, where we continued sightseeing for the day. It was a great experience!

We can really recommend this tour when you are in Johannesburg and have a few free hours... the organisation was perfect . I mistakenly made the reservation for the wrong day but Solly , the CEO of the company was extremely understanding and we were able to change the day) . The driver, Thsepo, was very punctual and friendly and the Safari tour was really interesting. We had a guide called Matilda who was able to answer all the questions about the animals that we saw and explained things in an entertaining and insightful manner. Great experience!

This tour was so much fun. We were picked up at our AirBnb and driven about one hour to the park. Our driver was very friendly and told us about the places that we drove through. Since this was our first time in Joburg, this really enhanced our experience! At the Lion and Safari Park, we went on a two hour tour of the animal enclosures. The tour guide was great, and we got very close to many lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and other amazing animals. Our children, ages 5 and 7, had a terrific time. After the tour we went shopping, and then our pickup driver was there to bring us back to our starting point. I'd definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience the Lion and Safari Park!

It was a lovely experience to see the wildlife so closely. The tour takes you as close as possible to the majestic animals of the lion park. 2 hours went by in a flash with our tour guide's entertaining and informative explanations. The drive to and from the park was as comfortable as possible, with a pick up and a drop off from the hotel. The driver was a kind and friendly person and shared many interesting facts and tips about Joburg.

This was an amazing experience, The tour guide, Tsepo was simply the best. I was picked up from my hotel and dropped off. The ride to and fro was smooth and cool. Even though it wasn’t a private tour, we were a small group of 3 which made it even more enjoyable. Strongly recommend the safari lion experience with Philippians 4 tour.

Very late very. Thought did one. But I did this tour back in June 2021. Solly is one of the best tour guides in Joburg. The experience at the Lion safari park was memorable but smooth in terms of transportation. Highly recommend this tour company. They also do other tours which I took part in.

The trip was great and to See the lions and panthers up close was a great experience. The lion park did a great job showing off and explaining the animals habits!
