In the 70s and 80s it would have been the cream of fine accommodation. It has since depreciated. Decor is "fancy" but dated and falling apart on closer inspection. Shower was badly designed, made the entire bathroom wet as there is no door. Water pressure was non existent in the shower. Buffet breakfast and dinner was OK,but typical. All in all an average experience.
Came home all nights to no power. I’d have to sit in the lobby until the power returned because I couldn’t walk up so many flights of stairs. Room had no blankets and couldn’t use air conditioner for the heater - the nights were cold. Shower would have cold water at night and lukewarm water in the mornings, even though kitchenette would always have piping hot water. Bedroom windows couldn’t open, no idea why. Breakfast was good though.
A warm welcome; the rooms are clean and spacious. The rooftop is a bit deserted, but it does have a lovely view. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay!
The Hotel is very nice and clean, close to fast food places. Easy accessible to free ways and all reading roads. Hotel has in bar, restaurant and secure parking. Friendly staff and good food.
it was hard to give this a overall 4 or 5 star hotel primarily because it was not as I expected. The room was rather dated, although very clean, the TV does not stream any channels and it is outdated. Some of the furniture is worn. the windows were not sealed and leaked air. The gym is so small and outdated. It cannot accommodate more than 3 people and has one set of weights. The breakfast buffet was very good. I did order room service for dinner because there are not restaurants nearby only fast food types of places. This is not a place for a single female solo traveler. The areas is unsafe at night and most of the businesses have left the Central Business District. Even the Uber driver asked me why I was staying at this location, I checked out the next day. i asked for a refund of the balance of the my 4 night prepaid reservation, but we could not work that out, nor could Booking.com. I will never prepaid for rooms again, Lesson learned, the deals for prepaid may not be worth it. Get to the place and pay at the end of your stay. I had no problem with the staff or service. I think staff were very nice. Its a hotel for the locals but not for out of towners
