Reef Hotel

Very clean Located at the clean side of jozi Service is excellent I enjoyed the rooftop mostly, sucha vibe💃💃💃

Check-in was fine, but unfortunately the stay went downhill from there. The air conditioner wasn’t working when I arrived, although reception did arrange for it to be fixed. Later, while running a bath, the hot water suddenly turned cold and the water became yellow/brown. I was told there was an electricity issue and had to use a shower elsewhere in the hotel, which was very inconvenient after a long day of travelling. The next morning at breakfast, I then found a hair in my fruit salad, which was very disappointing and raised concerns about hygiene. The staff did assist when I contacted them, but there were simply too many issues during a one-night stay. The room should have been fully functional before check-in, and the breakfast experience should have been better.

We were treated like family.. Thank you 😀. The staff and management went above and beyond to look after my wife and l. The hotel is close to the fun stuff in Jo-Burg. Uber rides are short and sweet. Roof top bar @ sunset is such a treat with a beer in your hand.

Loved the Hotel. Won't put any negatives here just improvements. Towels in room when u arrive, extra blanket esp for people who doesn't like aircons.. some vegetarian choices for breakfast by separating animal products and making sure dairy such as cheese is not mixed with any meat. Make sure breads scones cupcakes are not meat meat or the toaster so people don't put toast in their play with lifter and it touches meat in their plates. Or should be a vegetarian vegan friendly setup yo accommodate all. Staff were all friendly and helpful and I especially liked the shuttle guy. He was swift and on-time..
