Not as well decorated as other branches but still spacious and comfortable with good shower pressure. On site reception is also very professional so big ups on that. Please do update your numbers though. The 066 number is not published, I got it from the Sandton branch because the two published numbers both don’t work at all and I’m sure you’re losing potential guests because of this as I too almost didn’t book as I needed clarification on something before I could book online and there was no way to immediately get hold of you.

Friendly employees from the gate to room services. Always welling to help even at the last moment. Will always come back here. They must consider installing a pool though 🤔 😃 😊

I would NEVER recommend Mint Hotel to anyone. This was an absolutely disgusting and disturbing experience. When I uncovered the bed, there was a BUG IN THE BED. Throughout my stay, I encountered MULTIPLE ROACHES in my room that I literally had to kill myself. This was not an isolated incident. They continued appearing throughout my stay. I also came across another guest’s review stating that they saw mice at this property. I personally did not see mice, but considering the amount of bugs and roaches I personally encountered, reading that was extremely disturbing. The cleaning staff were also rude and inconsiderate, which made an already horrible experience even worse. I came to Johannesburg on holiday to enjoy myself, not to spend my stay killing roaches and worrying about bugs crawling around my room, my bed, or getting into my belongings. There are plenty of other places to stay in Johannesburg. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The conditions I experienced here were unsanitary, disturbing, and completely unacceptable.

Decently priced hotel, very spacious but housekeeping needs to pull up their socks. The hotel needs to find an alternative solution for customers putting up with construction noise taking place next door
