Made a booking online using the website. I received an e-mail to confirm my accommodation. Arrived to check in, as a thunderstorm started, only to be rudely informed by the receptionist that my reservation was not on her system. I gave her my booking reference and confirmation e-mail. Without any apology or explanation she stated that there was no rooms available and I would need to find an alternative place to stay. She then simply walked away and left me in reception. The Max hotel is definitely a place that has zero customer service or any values! Would not recommend booking here:-(

I contacted the hotel after my teenage daughter told me her reservation was cancelled on Brookings. Com after a declined payment on her bank card. After calling the hotel I was connected to Dineo who helped me effortlessly with the booking and payment. As the booking was meant for my daughter Amahle Mkhabela's Matric dance, I only got there in the evening to drop off some foodstuffs and drinks. I was in the company of a photographer, who did a little video and took pictures of Amahle and her friends who were there with her. So having arrived at the hotel in the evening, we had to go back to the hotel a few days later in order to capture the outside area of the hotel as having only the video footage and the pictures of the interior of the hotel wouldn't make sense without getting the exterior view of the hotel as well, hence the follow-up visit. That's where Dineo once more comes into the picture. When we got there that Thursday afternoon asking to get some pictures of the exterior, she went and checked with management if our request would be granted. Two minutes later she came back and told us we had the blessing of management to do that. So I just wanted to convey my gratitude on behalf of my daughter as well for the hospitality she enjoyed with her friends at your establishment. A very Special Thank You to DINEO for leaving an indelible mark in our hearts with her friendly, professional and exceptional service. She really is worth her weight in gold. Keep up the good work DINEO and your team. You are really living up to your slogan.

UK resident here. I visited Jo’berg and resided at the Max hotel Sandton during my stay and there is only one word that sums up my experience - Wow! I loved everything about the place. The rooms were really spacious, elegant and clean. The service from the staff was excellent. Everyone was attentive to our needs and really cared that we had a wonderful experience. Also, the gates at the front ensures that guests’ safety and security is prioritised and well-protected. Has to be one of the best hotels that I have come across!
