Blackbrick Sandton Two

As a music producer and DJ, I’ve stayed in plenty of places, but BlackBrick has genuinely become my favourite. I spent two nights here and everything just made sense. The WiFi was fast and reliable throughout my stay, which is essential when you’re constantly working from your laptop, uploading music, staying connected, and responding to bookings. After a late night of Gigs, I accidentally overslept on Sunday. Instead of rushing me out, the housekeeping team was incredibly understanding and gave me the time I needed to get myself together. That level of hospitality doesn’t go unnoticed. The aesthetic is beautiful too. You can tell the space was designed by people who understand creatives and musicians. It has everything you need without feeling overdone, and it’s reasonably priced, especially knowing that many of us travel at our own expense. Big love to the entire team. I’ve definitely found my home whenever I’m in Joburg, and I’ll be back.

We booked somewhere else and the place did not have electricity so we opted for BLACK BRICK the best decision ever. We paid upon arrival since we did not book and the staff is super friendly and clean. I didn't give it 5 stars because the shower was small for my partner and I.Secondly i didn't like the fact that you need to call to request basic things like pots and iron. Above all we enjoyed our stay even though it was raining

I stayed in a clean, spacious, and well set-up studio apartment, ideally suited to my short trip due to its close proximity to essential services and amenities. The staff were consistently warm, courteous, and attentive throughout. The location is particularly convenient, being near Sandton City. It also has dedicated coworking spaces, meetings rooms and library ideal for business travel. Overall, it offers excellent value and a pleasant experience.

Poor service, breakfast ranging from average to bad (on the last day it couldn’t even be called breakfast, as there was almost no food—there weren’t even any utensils!), the worst shower stall I’ve ever used in my life—cramped, with a large unused space in the bathroom that makes no sense. Only one key card per room; we were two people, which made it difficult even to move around the hotel since the card is required. Very noisy during the day. Not to say everything was bad—the room and the bed are good.
