Absolutely beautiful property with exceptional hospitality! This is truly one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed at, with a wonderful ambience and atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff and everyone we interacted with were incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, and attentive. They truly excelled in hospitality and made us feel so special throughout our stay. We absolutely loved our experience and would happily return again. One small gesture really stood out to us. When we went to pay for a coffee we had purchased, they refused to take our money and simply said they wanted us to come back again. That level of warmth and genuine hospitality was truly heartwarming. The chef was also fantastic and very accommodating. As vegetarians, we really appreciated the effort they made to provide delicious vegetarian options. The breakfast was spectacular, with so many choices, and everything we tried was delicious. The chef clearly takes great pride in the food. Even after our stay had ended, they went above and beyond by allowing us to use a vacant hotel room to freshen up and change before our flight. This was incredibly thoughtful and made our travel day so much easier. The kindness, generosity, and attention to detail from the entire team were exceptional. This property is the definition of excellence in hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back!

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, the feel is of staying in a grand house. The rooms themselves could use an upgrade, wallpaper is peeling and curtains need to be re hung. There are no safes in the room. The hotel has only South African power points, there are 2 usb points and no usb C points, bring specific adapters if you are travelling from another country. The phone in my room wasn’t working, it was fixed on request, the shower head had a significant leak and needs repair. I booked an extra night so I could check in from an early flight and have breakfast, I had corresponded with the hotel about transportation for my arrival so they knew when I was coming. Despite this they cancelled my room the night before. I was given check in, but not breakfast and my room was not ready, I saw no reason for this as it should have been ready from the day before. Check out was not smooth as they had not calculated my laundry costs and I had to wait for this. The on site restaurant was excellent, although they always seemed to be out of something, from wine to sourdough bread. The service was excellent and the hotel felt very safe. I might stay again

My stay here was truly wonderful! 🏨 The rooms were absolutely fantastic, offering great comfort and a lovely ambiance. The service from the staff was exceptional and made me feel very welcome. 😊 While the location was good, it could be slightly better. Overall, a highly recommended experience! ✨💖

Really beautiful place with super friendly staff. Everything worked well and was clean and the water pressure is very powerful so be careful when you turn on the shower 😂 we also didn't have coffee pods when we arrived but the amended it very quickly when we asked 👌 The restaurant was amazing, the food was really good and breakfast was included which was such a great added benefit! We recommend the Schiacatta With Poached Eggs.
