Menno was an amazing guide through Jerusalem! In addition to his expert knowledge of the sights and history of Jerusalem, we took him up on his offer of a new experience through the original tunnels to the city water supply and the old Pilgrimage road. In these areas, we saw the actual sights of old Jerusalem! We learned so much about current Jerusalem and its long and storied history. Truly incredible day with Menno. We will be back and will do more tours with him!

Next you will visit the Church of the Pater Noster where Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer. There are plaques on the walls with the Lord’s Prayer written in more than a hundred languages. Visit the grotto where Jesus would have taught, which is also where Jesus told his disciples of the eminent destruction of Jerusalem and the 2nd coming. During your time at the Mount of Olives, you will have a breathtaking view of the Temple Mount, the Old City and the City of David.
You will also see the Dominus Flevit. The church was built to commemorate the site where Jesus wept over the fate of Jerusalem. You will visit the Franciscan church designed by the famous Antonio Barluzzi. Next is without a doubt one of the most impressive sites in Jerusalem and one of the most moving moments in the last days of Jesus, Gethsemane or Church of all Nations. This is the church Jesus prayed alone to God.
Next up on the tour is the Grotto of Gethsemane. The cave is decorated by Crusader frescoes and graffiti. Afterwards see the Tomb of the Virgin Mary. This Crusader church was built over a quarried-out tomb that may well date from the 1st century, surrounded with the atmosphere of the Orthodox Churches, hanging lamps and incense.
The tour then leads you to Bethesda Pools, where it is said Jesus healed the paralytic. The site is a series of reservoirs and medicinal pools excavated in the late 19th century, but it has taken more than 100 years for archaeologists to accurately identify and interpret the site. You will then walk to the Via Dolorosa. There you will enter Old Jerusalem through the Lion’s Gate, and follow the painful path of Jesus on his way to his crucifixion. You will then see the Austrian Hospice, the first national pilgrims’ guesthouse in the Holy Land, dated from 1863, before moving onto see the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. This is the final station of the tour and will be where you leave your guide.

Amit tours was great. He was knowledgeable and I would take a tour with him anywhere. He guenuly took his time and made sure we getting all the information
If you're going to take a lifetime trip to Jerusalem I highly encourage investing in the experience and getting a personal tour with Gavriel. Do no join a big group and fight for the views, deal with the lines, listen through headphones and deal with random distractions from others. I took my mom for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Jerusalem and the best decision I made was getting a private tour. Why: 1) Gavriel walks you place to place with a no rush - as much details as you want attitude 2) Per my request, gave us the views of all the religions about the sites so I can see where commonalities existed and where they did not (which was fascinating) 3) Interact with you like a personal friend would - it's a conversation - not a presentation Bonus: We opted to skip our lunch time and get to another area we wanted to visit - was it a problem? Nope. Bonus #2: We wanted to spend more time in certain places and less time in others - was it a problem? Nope. You are taking the time and spending your money on an amazing learning experience - go cheaper on your dining and make your investment in this private tour. You won't regret it - that's a promise.
Great tour, Eva had a lot of knowledge about the history of Jesus. She was right on time, was very flexible to accommodate our time constraints and special requests. She also was very respectful of our own views and way of experiencing the tour. We highly recommend it, thanks Eva!
We took the Jerusalem Walking Tour and we were fortunate to meet Shimon who was our tour guide. With his historical timeline and the Bible passages as references provided us with clear and in depth understanding of the significance of each site we visited. It was an amazing experience.
Nadia was simply the best guide ever. We had an amazing experience with her and Tony our driver. Nadia not only has so much knowledge about her country’s history she makes it so entertaining to listen to. Time just flew and we can only highly recommend to book her guided tours. They get booked up very quickly…:-)
We took the tour with Agustina in Spanish. Everything was perfect and she shows a high level of expertise. She even customize the tour according to our needs. We highly recommend this company and specially the guide.
We chose to have our first day in Jerusalem doing the "In Jesus' Steps tour" with Booqify. What a great decision! Our guide Shimon delivered a terrific full day tour interspersed with the relevant readings from the bible to support the moments in time we were covering. Our many questions were all answered and resulted in much discussion! Given our questions and interest, Shimon included so much more information so that by the end of the day, we had a brilliant understanding of the different religions, issues and history of this amazing city. I would recommend taking this tour as we did, right at the beginning of your Jerusalem stay so that you are armed with knowledge and information to explore this amazing city further.
Shimon was a great guide who showed us in detail all the great site sin Jerusalem. I appreciate his effort of speaking loudly so that my dad with hearing issues can hear .100% recommend We also did the Bethlehem Red Sea tour with him as it was great.
My Mother in law (who needs a wheelchair), my husband and I, took a full day tour with Agustina on Ash Wednesday. She was on time, respectful, knowledgeable, kind, detail oriented, fun, sweet and, really made our day ... AMAZING! She took us everywhere we wanted to go and, showed us amazing places we never dreamed of seeing; like Jesus’ tomb. She talked to the priest and, allowed us to skip the line, so my Mother in Law could see it. She also took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch and, helped us order. It was just a wonderful day! If you are in Israel, and want to have an unforgettable experience, please do yourself a favor and contact Agustina. She’s THE BEST! Worth her weight in gold! Renting audio guides and/or going on a big tour, will never be the same experience. With Agustina, we were able to go at our pace, ask millions of questions... and just ended up having the best day of our trip so far. After just one day; we felt like we’ve know. Agustina forever! Can’t wait to see her again! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? BOOK YOUR TOUR WITH AGUSTINA TODAY - In English, perfect Spanish or Hebrew. THANK YOU AGUSTINA!
My mother and I took a private tour with Shimon Palmer. We met him at the Chord Bridge Jerusalem, Shimon was easy to identify with his hat and we took an instant like to his pleasant manner. Shimons knowledge of the tours ( we had two with him, and I am so glad we had him as our guide on both) was outstanding, He showed us sights and told us things that made the tour much much more that I ever expected. When he speaks about Jerusalem its as though he is part of the city and its rich history. Shamon made our trip to the Holy Land and unforgettable one, Thank you Shamon for your knowledge, patience and the compassion you showed my frail mother. You are a true Professional and Gentleman. Wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat in summer and let Shamon lead the way. You could not be in better hands. Dietmar Barker Sydney Australia
Some people are born to do a particular profession. Alan has passion, deep knowledge, and joys in sharing both with you. We were a small family of three including a 14 year-old daughter. We wanted to see the Orthodox Christian sites of importance. At each site Alan brought us back in time to the events as they occurred. Alan is not just a tour guide he is a teacher in the true sense of the word. I growing up had a few of those who leave you with something that stays with you for life. During the tour people gravitated off their own tours to listen to Alan's passionate teachings. Did we become his disciples? We spent two days with Alan. The first day seeing Christian sites outside of the city including the Baptismal site at the Jordan river. The second day recreating the events in the life of Jesus and the birth of Christianity. Alan has a vast knowledge of the history of the three religions involved, and loves to share that with you in a way you will judge all future guides. We will come back and will request Alan. As a side note when one travels you miss many photo ops because you are just too busy to follow the action, well Alan sent me by email many of those missed moments.
We started our first full day in Israel with Shimon Palmer and it was a great start to the trip! Shimon communicated directly with us in advance of our meeting, helping to alleviate fears of how we would meet up with him and where. He took us to a great lunch place and even helped us exchange our money, as the counter at the airport was closed when we arrived. This was a private tour and we felt so comfortable with Shimon and appreciated his knowledge and understanding of the area. Great, personalized tour!
Shimon is an excellent tour guide for a full day tour of Jerusalem. In Jesus' Steps was absolutely incredible, the way this specific tour was setup is spectacular and is a definite must. Shimon takes the time to read from the bible to help remind you of what is going on and the significance of everything that is part of this tour. I don't want to give anything away, as it will be much more exciting as you experience it yourself for the first time. My wife and I are very grateful and happy to have done this tour specifically. We feel that it really completed this whole experience and allowed my wife to fully complete her pilgrimage. Shimon is an excellent official tour guide that doesn't push any stores or selling on you. He is a straight up genuine person that is extremely patient and will to customize your tour based on your interests and personal beliefs. Thank you for the wonderful experience Shimon and for making our first experience in Jerusalem an unforgettable one. Will definitely make contact with you when we return next time for other exciting and unbelievable adventures!
Menno De Vries was our private tour guide - we did Jerusalem one day, Bethlehem-Dead Sea-Masada the next day, and Sea of Galilee area on the third day. I told Menno what I needed, and he customized the tour, offered suggestions. He arranged for a car as well. Menno is very knowledgable, energetic and passionate. We had great discussions with him throughout our trip. He is very friendly and that makes it easy. Menno made our trip stress free and meaningful. Thanks, Menno.
Menno the guide was absolutely wonderful, he shared the most interesting information .about the places we have visited which were facinating and oh so beautiful He took us to eat great food and have real Jerusalem\Arabic coffee and goods. Thanks to Agustina Efrat for the fantastic full day tour in Jerusalen. As well as being instructive, it was very nice going at our speed. We saw the whole ancient city starting at the Mount of Olives. We toured the 4 sectors and took us to eat somewhere fantastic. Very well taken care of always. A day not to forget. If you go to Jerusalem, contact her. Everything we contracted by wsp without problems. Thank you Agustina, it was a real pleasure.

Agustina Efrat, excellent Spanish speaking guide. Very professional, with solid knowledge. All our concerns were evacuated by Agustina. For us it has an important additional, we are Argentine and so is she.Thank you so much and that all your projects are accomplished.
It was a surprising day with Menno de Vries who passionately waltzed us through Jerusalem , a gallant guide who clearly conveys the complex history of Israel with his University knowledge. No question remains unanswered. We will remember this beautiful day strongly. TOP! Definitely recommended. Gr Robert
An all-day private tour of Jerusalem, guided by Augustine, has been the best investment to get to know the culture, history and society in Jerusalem deeply. It is an exciting city that requires a lot of knowledge and experience and in one day you can complete a visit of all the highlights. I recommend it to everyone who has a real interest in enjoying and learning in Israel.
Together with acquaintances had a short holiday in Tel Aviv with 2 days excursion to Jerusalem , Bethlehem, Masada and the dead sea. We had this excursion from Menno de Vries, what an acquaintance he has of Israel, very much learned from him through his objective and clear explanation of the history and the Bible regarding Israel. Because of Menno, our journey has become completely of what we wished for
Today had a tour with Menno through Jerusalem from start to finish greatly enjoyed and learned a lot about the history of Jerusalem / Israel. Highly recommended!!
