We had an excellent experience at this charming hotel. We opted for half-board and it was a great choice; their dinner show was incredible, from the quality of the food and the attentive service to the live music. We'd definitely return to this unique Art Deco-inspired hotel that we loved, and it's very close to the wonderful beaches of Zahara de los Atunes, Conil, and La Barrosa. A perfect 10/10 stay.

Let me get started by saying by saying I was very excited to go there, based on pictures and reviews written... too long ago! The recent reviews have got to have been written by relatives of staff! Hotel Utopia must have been nice a long time ago when the town was blossoming, but the town stopped blossoming in the middle of constructions and became a "ghost town". As you first drive into the town, you will start noticing that the appeal peels away, you will see buildings with steel bars hanging out of cement walls, empty buildings, never finished... The hotel itself, is as dead as the town. We walked in, lights were off, not a soul besides ours, except staff members that looked at us but never came to us, looking at us like they were waiting for us to turn around and leave as we saw what we had booked. That's exactly what we did... We left and went to a town not too far away, called Vejer de la Frontera, a beautiful place to be, with many souls happy to enjoy themselves, with many hotel choices that will not disappoint. If you still choose to go to hotel Utopia, please take a selfie at the moment you see where you have arrived, a moment to be captured.
