Jeju Day Tour For Cruise Guests

Unfortunately because of bad weather, our cruise stop into the port of Seogwipo Gangjeong Cruise Terminal in Jeju was canceled on the night before our scheduled excursion. Because we had purchased the excursion via Viator instead of directly with the cruise line, I figured there would be no refund for the prepaid cost (since it was canceled less than 24 hours before the start time and I did not have travel insurance). I was pleasantly surprised that the Viator rep understood my problem, and proposed a solution (request a refund from the tour operator because of a weather related cancellation). Within 24 hours, the request was approved and a refund to my paying credit card was issued within a couple of days. So, yes, our group of six never took the pre-paid cruise. But Micheal (sp?) from the travel company did create the WhatsApp group as promised 24 hours before the excursion start. And the fact that they refunded the fare so quickly, makes me have confidence that they are a reputable vendor and that going through Viator as the middleman was worth it.

Hays was organized and efficient showing us the highlights of Jeju Island. She was knowledgeable and shared her personal experiences with us.

Broad experience in Jeju packed into a single day trip. Pickup at cruise port was seamless and the air conditioned bus was comfortable with an experienced driver. Our tour guide Hays was outstanding, informative about the history of the sites and providing lots of entertaining side lights. Definitely a great value, far better than cruise ship offerings at about 2-3 times the price.

Interesting and informative guide. Our ship was late to arrive and early to leave but the company still managed to build a great itinerary for us.

Fantastic tour, A great day touring Jeju, stopping at several scenic and cultural points. Hays was a wonderful tour guide, with excellent time management and explanations of places we were visiting. The driver was very professional too. The sunshine and blue sky made the dramatic coastal scenes, temple, waterfall, and mountain even more beautiful. Ended with some bibimbap at a local market and got back to the cruise ship with lots of time to spare!

A very unique tour. Beautiful Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, Hallasan Mountain Wetland, and amazing Jusangjeolli Chiffs. Jin, the tour guide, was excellent. We enjoyed very much.

The trip was wonderful and Nina was a great guide! We saw mountains, volcanic rocks at the ocean, a large Buddhist temple and the Jeju market. Although it was hot and muggy the bus was new and very cool. Recommend!

Great tour with Daicy. We were picked up right at the cruise port, the ship was a little late but the bus and guide were waiting for us. We have two elderly and they were very accommodating for the slow movements m. The sights were beautiful and the guide gave plenty of insights and history. Higly recommend !!!!

Fantastic day trip for cruise guests, managed to cram so many activities into 6hours. Felt a tiny bit rushed due to the cruise ship arriving so late, but we make it. on a normal schedule I think it would be absolutely perfect. Daicy our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. The bus was modern and comfortable with A/C at just the right temperature. Jeju is a wonderful island we’ll be back someday soon to spend longer vacation.

Our tour guide Daicy was very friendly and helpful! I appreciate that she waited as long as possible for us to arrive when our cruise ship arrived in port late. She was also very patient and accommodating for my dad who has trouble walking fast. Highly recommended!

A great look around Jeju with our fabulous host Jina. There is so much to see in Jeju South Korea but if you only have one day this is how to spend it.

Jina was a very good guide. She was knowledgeable about all the various locations and was very friendly and approachable.

The tour was amazing as was the tour guide Jina ad our driver. We were able to see everything listed on the tour even adjusting for the change in cruise ship departure.

Enjoyed trip with the guide providing lots of very interesting information about the history of the island. We were given ample time at each place, the places we went were so breaktaking and definitely worth to visit again. Would throughly recommend this trip to cruise ship tourists.

We are so happy to book this cruise day tour at last minite. Pickup at cruise terminal on time, we got to see 5 places in a day. Lucky to have a great guide along the tour. If you are cruise guest, who stopover for a short time, don’t hesitate to book it, you won’t regret!
