Jeju Cruise Ship Gangjung Port Private Tour For All Group Sizes

John was very prompting on time today and picking us up at the cruise port. We went to the road with the cherry blossoms and canola flowers after that we went to a folk museum where we saw structures that were over 1000 years old and then we moved on the beach to see the mountain in the background in the beautiful blue and green waters that were crystal clear we then went to see the womendiverse and did a little shopping as well as had some lovely Korean snacks. John was a great host as I have limited mobility, he made sure I was comfortable the whole trip and got to do and see everything that we wanted to do.Would love to come back to Jeju Island, and booked him again to see the other side of the island thank you so much, John

Mr Shin was excellent english speaking and provided all my family requested on our private tour of JeJu island. He also selected a local restaurant that my family enjoyed. Flexibility to take you wherever you would like to go.

We live on a residential cruise ship (villavieresidences.com) and we arrange private tours all over the world. This one, with Harrison was perfect, and comfortable and fun. We really got a taste of Je-ju in a day. Affordable and completely customized for our diverse group.

Harrison took us to the east side of the island since we arrived for partial day cruise port. He took us to Kimnyung beach, coastal drive and to the Haenyeon Museum, Sungsan Sunrise Peak and a detour to go shopping. Best of all was a nice local lunch with wonderful banchan. He shared his love of the island, and there was simply not enough time.

I only had one day to explore Jeju, and this tour was exactly what I needed. Ken tailored the route to match what I wanted to see, and even added in a few surprises I wouldn’t have found on my own. His knowledge of the island and calm driving made the whole experience so smooth. We hit major sights like Seongsan and Hallasan, but also found quiet scenic spots. I left feeling like I truly saw Jeju in just one day.

We booked a private tour with Jeju Taxi Tour John during one of our cruise port stops, and our guide, Mr. Kim, was absolutely exceptional! Friendly, knowledgeable, energetic, and funny, he made every stop come alive with fascinating stories and local insights. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and having a great time, and he even took beautiful photos for our family. Thanks to Mr. Kim, our experience was unforgettable, and we completely fell in love with Jeju Island.

Had a lovely day with Steve who took very good care of us. He was friendly and helpful took us to some beautiful places, knew a great lunch spot where we had a true Korean bbq experience with super friendly staff and he answered any questions we had. The communication on WhatsApp was great beforehand and he took some great pictures of us as a family. Overall definitely recommend John's tours especially if you only have a short amount of time on the island to make the most of it.

Great tour with Harrison! Although our cruise ship shortened our port time, we saw almost everything we wanted to see. Harrison recommended the perfect amount of time at each site and made the most of our time visiting the tea museum, a beautiful temple, joint columns and waterfalls. All the sites were amazing! Harrison picked us up on a clean, comfortable minivan and made sure we were back in time for our departure. Communication with John and Harrison through WhatsApp before the tour was very helpful. We enjoyed our chats with Harrison learning about the island and culture during the tour. Would absolutely recommend Jeju Taxi Tour John!

We were happy with our driver, Mr. Jung. The car was spacious and immaculate for four people (an Ioniq 5), and both John and Mr. Jung were very quick to respond over Whats App to arrange our pickup at the cruise port. We had a short day on Jeju, so Mr. Jung drove us to three locations (temple, cliffs, waterfalls) which were all beautiful and he had us back at the port in time for our departure. He didn't provide much of a "tour" as his English was limited, but we were able to communicate and at each location he would get out to explain where to purchase the entry tickets and give us tips about which areas or paths to take or avoid (some trails at the waterfalls were closed and required a detour). That was very helpful. He would then wait in the car for us to return. Overall, we were happy with this arrangement but I'd say it was more like having an enhanced taxi ride but not quite a "tour" as he wasn't able to teach us about the island or the attractions we visited. Others may prefer more of a tour guide than this.

Great communication. We were met right after getting off the ship and even though the port time was reduced by the cruise ship, Steve ensured we made the most of our time, visiting waterfalls, a beautiful temple, and rock formations. We ended our day with an amazing seafood lunch.

Harrison was an outstanding your guide on Jeju Island, creating an itinerary to focus on our specific interests. His English language skills are excellent, his having lived in the U.S. for 8 years. This enabled him to present our experience from both American and Korean perspectives. He helped locate the Haenyeo Female divers, and we could observe them diving for seafood in the ocean. We were also taken to the Haenyeo Museum, where we could learn more about their culture and lifestyle. Then Harrison drove us to Sunrise Rick, where we enjoyed special views of the sea and the large volcanic rock that is the number one tourist attraction in Jeju. These are both UNESCO world heritage experiences that were truly special to experience. Harrison also accompanied us to an authentic Korean seafood restaurant where he assisted our ordering of freshly caught grilled mackerel and cutlass. We enjoyed a beautiful drive back to the ship enjoying the beautiful cherry blossoms as they were peaking, both lining the roadway and tucked in the hills. Harrison is a very special English-speaking guide who made our visit to Jeju Island memorable. We re comment him highly!

Everything was perfect. Mr Cho was our driver. Schedule respected. Clean mini van. I would recommand. If I go back on Jeju Island I would use them again!

Great tour with John. Made sure we hit all the highlights of Jeju Island as well as being flexible to our requests. He picked us up from the port and made sure we were back in plenty of time. We loved our tour of Jeju with John. It was like seeing Jeju through the back door. He took us places before the crowds got there. He also gave us a terrific feel for how the locals live. Jeju is a beautiful place and John is the man you want to show you around!

We are taking a cruise around Asia and Jeju was one of the stops. Ken from John’s team picked us from the port and gave us the perfect tour around the eastern part of Jeju. We visited 2 beaches, a museum and a beautiful trail. 10/10 would recommend. Ken was excellent, was there to pick us on time and additionally helped us take the best pictures.

This is my second tour with John in 2+ years. My first tour with him was in July 2022. See my review of John's other product, "Jeju Taxi Tour John" He is still fluent in English, but his knowledge of "off-the-crowd spots" for sightseeing and "mouth-watering local restaurants" at a bargain got even better!! JeJu island, it is beautiful Volcano island. What a Beautil scenery it is. John is the Best Guide in JeJu island for our family. If you visit JeJu Island, you must visit Sunrise peak(UNESCO World Natural Heritage Number 1.), Lava cliff, Water falls, etc. John's team is Wonderful for our team(4 families), they gave us tremendous information and tour event hough it is short time. I had Jeju Island cruise tour in September, 2024 with my family. Views of Jeju Island in September was really beautiful. I have strong interest in local food, wherever I visit. All the restaurants I visited provided excellent taste, refreshing atmosphere, clean rooms, friendly service,etc. All the choices were made by John' s advice.
