While the staff is generally friendly, small towels are provided as bath towels which were heavily inconvenient. They had a lack of bath towels for many days upon request. Location was also quite far from many needed facilities such as convenience marts, eateries, etc.

It was a first-floor room, and the hotel was quiet with no unpleasant smell. It was a rainy and windy day, but they had heated the floor in advance, so I had a very comfortable rest.
Beautiful View, But the Hotel Needs Better Maintenance I stay at Sanbangsan Hotel with my family once or twice every year. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, and every room has an amazing mountain view. For me, this has always been one of the best hotels because of the scenery alone. However, recently it feels like the management has stopped taking proper care of the hotel. The cleaning quality has become poor — floors are not washed or vacuumed properly, and the bathroom floor often still has hair from previous guests. The beds are comfortable and the bedding is soft, but some sheets had holes in them, and the curtains had visible mold, looking like they had never been removed or cleaned. The incredible mountain view is also ruined by very dirty panoramic windows. Each floor has a convenient shared kitchen with a microwave and dishes, but there is a stale smell both in the kitchen and throughout the floor hallway. I even opened the windows myself to air the place out. The staff are friendly, but unfortunately the declining condition of the hotel ruins the overall experience. If before I would have rated this hotel higher than 5 stars, now it feels more like 2.5–3 stars. I have always recommended this hotel to my friends, but if management does not improve the maintenance and cleanliness, I do not think I will return again.
I really liked this hotel. My room had an incredible view of Sanbangsan. The convenience store in the lobby is a nice bonus. They also have a karaoke room, a conference hall and jacuzzis on the rooftop which I think you can rent (though currently under maintenance).
I stayed in multiple hotels in Jeju (including the very popular Sono Calm, Ramada and Whistlelark) and this is probably the best hotel in Jeju in terms of service, facilities and room size. The view of the mountain in the room was beautiful and there is a convenience store in the lobby which closes at 11pm. The hotel also conducts full cleaning once every 3 nights and semi-cleaning of the room everyday, which is already better than some Jeju hotels which are priced higher. Some of the staff are also familiar in basic English so this is suitable for foreigners. They also very friendly, helpful and kind. Location-wise, it is near some of the major attractions in Jeju (Lava Cliffs, Innis Free house). The carpark is also relatively big so one does not have to worry about not having a place to park at night. The only downside I can think of is that the road towards the hotel can be dark at night, so do turn on your lights while driving.
