Simply wow. I can highly recommend the Haevichi Hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe King Seaside room and it was remarkable. It was very clean and so comfortable. The bathroom and shower were fantastic with great water pressure and temperature. The property underwent a ₩72+ billion renovation completed in 2025 and is owned by Hyundai Group. All of the interior, facilities, and rooms are sparkling clean and feel new. There was even a cool immersive art installation in a space which sits between the hotel and resort which it feels very few people even knew about. The entire vibe of the resort and hotel is modern, light, and bright. The staff are fantastic. They arranged an early morning taxi for us to go to hike Hallasan. The gym was well-equipped, although and opens at 6:30am and closes around 10pm. The pools looks marvelous, although we didn’t really use them. The standout experience was breakfast every morning which was exceptional, and every dish of the large variety was cooked to perfection. As expected in a self-contained resort, the restaurants can be extraordinarily expensive relative to the food in town a 2 minute drive away. For instance, the dinner buffet for one person at the hotel is over $100 USD-equivalent compared to $32 USD-equivalent for a phenomenal Shabu Shabu for two in town. Although you can choose to exchange your breakfast buffet at the hotel for dinner for an additional fee of ₩50,000 per person. Renting a car is highly suggested if you want to explore the island for flexibility. Haevichi is in a corner of the island and many other attractions like the Osulloc Tea Museum, Haenyeo Museum, Seongsan Ilchulbong, Hallasan, Jeju town, and more are a drive away. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and a hotel I would surely return to.

It’s a comfortable, large room hotel but it can get kinda loud. We didn’t know there was live music at night. We are early sleepers but the music was pretty loud. Bed was kinda flat, needs replacement. For a five star property, it would be nice if they had better coffee in the room. Also please have at least one tea that is 100 herbal and caffeine free without any artificial flavors. Breakfast buffet was solid. Service at the buffet was also excellent. Other than mediocre coffee (tried drip and latte) we enjoyed the variety of options. Asked for iron board and iron. Iron board was so dusty. The resort is quite large and well-maintained, but it lacked warmth and energy. The overall atmosphere felt a bit cold and quiet rather than cozy or inviting. It’s a clean and spacious place if you just need a place to sleep, but it definitely misses that vibrant, welcoming resort feel.
An excellent property with well-appointed suites. There is a great entertainment center for kids on the lower level on the village side. It rained quite a bit during our stay, but we still had a great time thanks to wonderful staff, the indoor pool and the entertainment center :)
This is a 5 star hotel. Most staff are very friendly. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of varieties and delicious. It is close to Jeju folk village, beach and harbor. One complaint is that it states 15% discount of spa on Haevichi Hotel Members, but did not get 15%. Did a combined head scalp and clear brightness for face for a total of 2h, costing 350,000 Kwon. However, did not notice any effects. Not worth it.
Our family had a great time here. The multiple pools were large, free to use for guests (Korean hotels often charge extra), and not crazy busy. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options, and the rooms were spacious. Great views and pleasant staff as well.
