We enjoyed our stay here for 7 nights. Nice hotel especially for families, but won’t say it’s five star standards. I love having room service as a treat and for its convenience when travelling with kids, but the prices here were such a rip off. $14 for a coffee, $28 for finger food. Bring your own toothbrush as they don’t provide it.

I was really looking forward to my stay at Josun Jeju, but unfortunately almost every part of the experience was disappointing. First, the front desk staff were not very welcoming or kind. We booked a garden view room, but were initially given a room facing the parking lot instead. We had to speak with two different staff members before finally getting the correct room. I also booked this hotel to celebrate my birthday. Before arriving, I saw reviews mentioning that the hotel sometimes provides a complimentary mini cake for special occasions, so we politely made a request in advance. However, nothing was prepared. Later, we were only given a small piece of chocolate. When we asked why we seemed to be treated differently, the staff reacted with rude attitudes and shrugs before eventually giving us a mini cake. At the end of the day, it wasn’t really about the cake itself — it was the unfriendly service and the way we were treated throughout the stay that left such a negative impression. We ended up moving to The Shilla Jeju the next day, and the difference in service was immediately noticeable. Sadly, I would not stay at Josun Palace Jeju again.
we enjoyed the stay in our room facing the pool. the rooftop Starbucks is a highlight. also the music events in the center courtyard.
I've visited the Starbucks coffee shop at the roof top of the hotel, nice view, and during low season seems quiet
I've been traveling for almost 20 years now and i really enjoy it, but unfortunately i can't give this accommodation more than 3 stars. And that's mainly because i booked one of the most expensive rooms: "King Suite with pool view". The spaciousness is undoubtedly good at around 97sq m, but the amenities are unfortunately just under average for a 5-star hotel. There's nothing more than a kettle and coffee machine. No other benefits for guests of this expensive room. And the worst thing, as other reviewers have already noted, the suite rooms in particular seem to have been inadequately cleaned; the entire terrace area outside was dusty, the beautiful lamps covered in dirt, and the windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I'm sorry, but for almost 700,000 KRW a day, i expect a bit more professionalism, and that starts with consistent cleaning of the rooms and outdoor areas. I found the staff to be always helpful, but since the clientele is primarily families with small children, anything else is probably unnecessary. I would have liked to see a bit more staff present at breakfast and dinner to answer questions or clear tables. All in all, anyone booking budget accommodation here will probably be among those who give positive reviews and won't complain about why you should pay extra money for the simple loungers at the rooftop pool. I have stayed in far better 5-star hotels so far. it's unfortunately a shame... 😣
