Unfortunately, Ecoland Hotel did not feel like a 5-star hotel at all. In our experience, it felt much closer to a 3-star property. The room was very basic and felt quite empty, with very few amenities or thoughtful touches. We had a large balcony with a beautiful view, but the balcony itself looked old and in need of renovation. There was no outdoor furniture — no chairs or table — so despite its size and the beautiful view, there was really no way to sit outside and enjoy it. The level of service was also far below what we would expect from a 5-star hotel. There was no proper arrival service to assist with our luggage, and we did not experience the kind of room service or guest assistance that you normally associate with a hotel of this category. Another disappointing point was the number of additional charges. Even basic things around the pool came at an extra cost, including towels and certain chairs or loungers. These are not the kinds of extras I would expect to keep paying for when staying at a 5-star hotel. Most importantly, we were disappointed with how our reservation was handled. We had booked five nights, and on the very first day, shortly after arriving and seeing the hotel, I asked to shorten our stay and cancel the remaining four nights. When they would not agree to that, I asked if they could at least cancel three nights, or even just the final two nights. None of those nights had been used yet, but the hotel offered no flexibility and required payment for the entire five-night reservation. I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but considering that I raised the issue immediately on our first day and was willing to stay for part of the reservation, I expected at least some understanding or an attempt to find a reasonable solution. Overall, the facilities, service, and guest experience simply did not match what we expected from a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not consider Ecoland Hotel to be at a 5-star standard.

AMAZING PLACING!! Everything is perfect except for the airport shuttle; there are only specific times that it deports from airport so you MUST check the times with the hotel before booking your airplane ticket! We didn't do that and ended up paying for our own taxi to go to the hotel ☹️
We stayed in Jeju 6 nights and treated ourselves on our last night to this wonderful hotel. Checkin and parking was easy. We were amazed from the moment we stepped into the lobby with the beautiful entrance and fireplace but were completely blown away by the pool and our room. The pool was beyond anything that we expected! The room and bathroom were so fancy and comfortable. Unfortunately, it did rain and we didn't get to explore as much as we should have. We ordered Eco Fried Chicken and ate in our room - YUM! I wish we could have afforded to stay here every night, it is a bit pricey, but so worth it!
Ahh, the good ole Ecoland hotel. The simplest to summarize this hotel is, it’s always 2% short from perfection. You guys ever come across a place where you feel like everything is there, but as you spent more time, you see small flaws here and there? That’s exactly Ecoland hotel. For the price, it’s 100% recommend. Each sections of the hotel and the bakery (yes, you heard that right. It has its own bakery with full equipments), karaoke and screen golf(!!!!!) is all there. It’s just put together or assembled awkwardly. Hard to explain, you can only feel it when you spend some time there! Outside pool is super cool. Breakfast is superb as well!
